Hi, I’m Emily, a lifelong animal lover and trusted pet sitter based in Simi Valley, CA. I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old, I starting with my brother’s two puppies and eventually helping my older sister with pet sitting visits. Since then, I’ve turned that passion into my full time work! I have experience with all ages and breeds, from shy rescues, to high energy puppies, to senior dogs who need a little extra care. Whether it’s daily check ins, medication, or simply offering comfort while their humans are away, I care for every pet as if they were my own. Clients often compliment my communication, reliability, and the way their pets instantly warm up to me. I’ll always send updates and photos to give you peace of mind. My goal is to make your time away as stress free as possible for both you and your pets!

I’m a very understanding person when it comes to taking care of someone else’s pet, and I treat and love every pet in my care as if they were my own. I always do my best to follow care instructions exactly as written. If your pet has any special routines or needs such as specific feeding times, medication schedules, walking routines, or anything else important to their comfort, please let me know!

My rescue dog struggles with trusting people and when I contacted Emily about it she was so nice and gentle about her approach to meeting Shae. Ever since the meet and greet she was patient and loving and my dog ended up warming up to her in just a couple of visits. It is really hard to find someone who is truly caring and understanding of fearful dogs. She was also very accommodating to our needs, Thank you, Emily!
Emily took very good care of our Shih Tzu Bentley. She sent us photos and updates of how Bentley was doing. Emily left our house spotless.

Emily did a great job taking care of my dog and two cockatiels. She followed my (somewhat complicated!) instructions exactly, gave me updates with photos, and I had a carefree getaway knowing Emily was taking care of my animals and home.

Schedule
I currently do pet sitting full time, so my schedule tends to fill up quickly, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak travel seasons. My availability calendar can be found in the services section of my profile by scrolling down, but please still feel free to reach out with any booking inquiries or questions. I always recommend reaching out as early as possible to schedule bookings and meet and greets!
