“Ayni and Alfonsus made a positive impression from the meet and greet. They’ve wanted to check if Chico would get along well with another dog they had committed with. This showed me how much they care for the pet wellbeing. Chico was in great care and I received frequent updates by video and photo along with messages. They were very transparent all the time during our communications and this gave me the confidence to already plan another booking with them. Thank you Ayni and Alfonsus!”

“Alexis was fabulous. 10 stars. This was the first time using the app and she was the first person I found. She was very responsive and we had very clear communications. The first day my two pups went to her house they were clearly not happy when I dropped them off but then I started getting photos of how well they were integrating. She walked them, loved them and when I took them back the second day they were reaching for her when I went to go hand her the dogs. She had a clean home and the experience was just amazing. I would highly recommend Alexis for all your doggy needs. She was great.”

“Marcella is awesome she is a very caring and nurturing individual! She is really great with animals. I will definitely be using her in the future for all my animals! Thank you so much Marcella! 😊”

“Mariia was so pleasant to work with. This was our first experience using Rover and we couldn’t be more satisfied. She sent us updates daily and made us feel comfortable keeping our pets with them the entire time. Highly recommend!!!”

“Zues loved his time with Carter. He was treated so well, my mom was afraid he would not want to go home with her. The smile on his face said it all. Cater played with him, sent us pictures. Some great actions shots. Our Zues is very active and loves the attention. Thank you Carter for an amazing week with Zues.”

“Brittany has been amazing with my pup who has some separation anxiety. He gets excited when he realizes where we are headed, he practically busts the door down to get in!”

“We had a two trips in Dec and left Jax with Skylar. It seems that Jax had a fantastic time with her. Skylar is an excellent communicator; she not only sent us daily photos and of Jax but also kept us updated on how he was doing. I am very pleased with her and will definitely work with her again in the future.”

“Ilona was very calm and sweet at drop off. She took really good care of Choo Choo. She got him to eat which is quite a chore. She sent me pictures during his stay. I will definitely use her again.”

“We could not be more thrilled with April and her care for our Lulu. Everything about our experience with April exceeded my expectations in every way. She is kind, warm, and easy to talk with, while being professional and clear. She sent us tons of photos of Lulu throughout the day and it was clear April treated our Lulu like a member of the family. I could not be more pleased with April’s attention to detail but also just her overall demeanor. I would feel very at peace leaving our Lulu in her care going forward!! She is the best!!!”

“Andrew and Karrie are wonderful hosts. My dog was well taken care of, and they were open to communicating with us while our dog was under their care. I recommend them without hesitation and will use them again.”

“A great experience that was easy, flexible, worry and stress-free. Amon and Adam work from home and adore doggies and treat them as their own. Our pup had loads of human and happy pup interaction. Plus, sunshine, backyard sniffing and neighborhood walks outside. Inside filled with cozy beds and fuzzy blankets. Looking forward to Phoebe’s next stay.”

“Maryam was absolutely wonderful with Fiona. She was very accommodating when I needed to change the dates, which I truly appreciated. She also took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand so our dogs could meet, which made me feel even more comfortable. Her dog is very friendly and gets along well with small dogs, and Fiona fit right in. Maryam kept me updated with pictures and clearly took such great care of Fiona. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. I would highly recommend Maryam to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and thoughtful dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Thank you Annabelle, Ben (and Ranger too) for taking wonderful care of my dog Luna. We will definetly use them again and recommend their service to family and friends. They are patient and kind and opened their home to our rambunctious dog. The photos of her playing, going for walks and "chillin" helped this fur mommy know she was happy and being well cared for.”

“Dawn & her family were incredible! She was able to accommodate a last minute schedule change & saved our weekend getaway. Emmett had so much fun with her dog as well & came home ready to sleep the rest of the day away. I would highly recommend her to any pet owners who need a sitter.”

“My dog Duke had a great time with JJ and Family. JJ sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day to let me know how Duke was doing. She made sure Duke had toys to play with. Duke had a fun day full of playtime with the family dog. Duke can be very high energy, but JJ and her family did a really great job at taking care of him for me.”

“Chris was great with Benji, we could tell Benji was having a blast and we’re relieved with the daily updates and pictures sent by him. Will definitely consider rebooking Chris for future occasions”

“As usual, Ollie thoroughly enjoyed his visit with Cedric and his family. Also, Cedric was super flexible when I changed both the drop off and pick up times last minute.”

“Rachel & Demetra have been flexible when plans unexpectedly change and are always super communicative. Our dog Mia comes back from her stays very happy and calm. We're satisfied with our experience!”

“Hayley and Arthur are incredible. I am incredibly precious when it comes to who I’d leave my dogs with. Our first stay with them, they were quick and easy to coordinate with. Now, after a much longer extended second stay, I continue to feel confident leaving my babies with them! They seem to really care for animals and understand that they are more than just pets to us - treating them with care and thoughtfulness. Pains me to share how much I love them (because I want them available for me always) but they warrant the good review!”

“Ellie took great care of my two cats! I highly recommend booking with her, she was very caring and attentive. And during her visits she took some cute photos of them too, which I really appreciated so I could still see them while I was away.”

“Stacy is the pet whisperer! I told her this when my cats came out and greeted here on her first visits. I didn’t expect her to even see them but there she was, petting Georgie! She immediately made me and my husband feel comfortable with her. This was our first time using a service allowing a “stranger” in our home. Needless to say, Stacy is not a stranger anymore and we will be booking her whenever we go out of town.”

About: I have taken care of my dog since she was 7weeks and she is now 5 about to turn 6 years old, I enjoy taking her on walks and playing with her. We also give our dog the exercise our dog that is needed.

“Great photos. Thanks again Rachel for taking such good care of the cats. Even though you are a dog person I think you should consider getting a cat or two because you are so good with them ;-)”

“Jeffrey has been a great help to us when traveling. He's cared for our dogs, cats, chickens, and even helped with watering some plants while we're gone during a heat wave. He is my go to for pet assistance when we go out of town.”

“Meghan has been great as a pet sitter for my cats! After I left for vacation, I realized it was going to be really hot out for a couple days so I contacted Meghan and explained I needed her to set up a couple Fans and open the sliding doors a bit for better air circulation and set out more water for my cats. Meghan did everything I asked and took great care of my kitties, for which I am grateful.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats of different ages and personalities, including shy, senior, and energetic cats. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, giving lots of playtime, and making sure cats feel calm and safe in their home environment. I pay close attention to behavior and health so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I understand that cats can be sensitive to changes, so I’m patient and gentle to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away.

About: **PET CARE EXPERIENCE: Hi there! :) Are you looking for a vacation for your pup with a sweet gentle giant pupper to keep your dog company, a stress-free environment that is cage free, cozy, able to roam in a doggie paradise full of 100 dog toys, lay on plenty of comfy spots, have doggie movie fun time, a yard to run around, fun lake and trail adventures, and get all the love and attention they need? Then look no further. :) I speak Spanish and English. I am LLC licensed and insured pet sitter that does both overnight stays and daycare. Me & my boyfriend Ryan own a beautiful home with a nice big Fenced yard in Lake Villa, IL. I have 20+ years experience and specialize with dogs, cats, reptiles, dog training and animal behavior expertise (aggression, shy, nervous, anxious behaviors etc..), worked as an animal care specialist at an animal shelter, vet assistant at a vet clinic, manager & lead dog handler at daycare/boarding facilties, head dog walker and ambassador. I'm experienced with all breeds, all sizes, all temperaments. I am a positive reinforcement force-free reward based trainer that enjoys boarding, playing, and walking dogs. I do not use nor recommend the use of bark collars, choke chains, nor prong collars. I do not use fear, force, pain nor intimidation either. I use love and respect and guide every dog in a gentle manner and encourage and reward the good desire behaviors with lots of praise and affection. If they love something extra special I will use that as rewards. I will provide the best care and love for your dog and they will come back home happy. (P.s- they might not want to come back home from all the fun they had haha.) I do have one dog at home and other clients dogs as well so your dog must be okay with other dogs for boarding and must be okay and well socialized with people as well since your dog will be under my care. I do sometimes have timid dog's As long as they are not a risk liability to any other dogs or people then I'm okay in having them over. I make sure all dogs in my care will be safe with other dog's and other people before I accept them. My dog is super sweet and well behaved and loves dogs, people, cats, kids, everything! she is a spayed female 7 year old rescue cane corso (italian mastiff) I work with your budget if need be and I also have reference of past clients upon request. :) **SCHEDULE: I'm a full time dog sitter for boarding and daycare at my home. I am always home to care and spend time with the fur-babies. Every dog goes out at least 3 times a day. *Morning outside time between 6a.m-7a.m and then breakfast right after. *Afternoon outside time between 12-2p.m *Dinner between by 4-6 pm *Last evening outside time by 8-10 pm Special arrangements can be done depending on age and needs and I can also do every 2-4 hours potty breaks just let me know and I can work on a special schedule for your pup. :) I take into consideration age, breed, and how the weather is and keep them safe from too much cold exposure or severe heat exposure. Potty breaks will be brief for severe weather purposes. GROOMING: Per request before you book your stay: I can give your doggie a bath during their stay with me for an additional fee (not a separate services) they must be already staying with me if he/she is okay in being handled safely and no allergies or issues with shampoos. Also they will only be toweled dried as I do not have a blow dryer or any grooming tools. I have basic brushes and scented shampoos/waterless shampoo sprays I do after their bath and are let air dry so they will be a little damp. But wanted to make sure they don't go home stinky for long stays. I spritz them up with a nice scenting doggie perfume after their visit. :) **SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: My dog offers company and your pups hanging with me is more of a vacation. A home based boarding/daycare place is less stressful than a facility where it is loud and scary and dogs fall very ill from stress and can display behavioral issues from high anxiety. Such as a home setting is more in what dogs are used to and have a place to lounge, relax, play, and will be calm and quiet enjoying their time away from home. I'm aware that accidents can happen especially new dogs and I'm prepared to arrange a better potty and walk schedule for them as they adjust. I do have other clients dog's here at times but I know pretty much everyone under my care and I am very experienced in matching the right fit dog's. Each dog gets an assessment and temp test at our meet and greet before I confirm. They can't show any aggression towards me, my boyfriend, nor my dog or during their stay. Some dogs may need more space and time to adjust and I have a separate free roaming room and baby gated area if need be to keep everyone safe and separated especially when I'm taking them for walks in pairs but I rarely had to do any of that as they all learn to be good pals and coexist peacefully as you can see on my pictures. :) if for any reason your dog isn't adjusting well and is a risk to any other dogs or people I'll let you know and we can discuss options. Behaviors don't always show up right away until they are settled in and comfortable to show their true personalities. There is no reason to worry about early pick up if the stay isn't working out as I am experienced enough to keep them seperated and safe but most likely they will not be a good fit for future stays due to safety reasons. I have cozy crates as well and my cozy room if any dog needs a break from doggies or if they are too overwhelmed they have a safe spot to relax if they want to. I make sure their experience is pleasant and enjoyable and fun! Some take a little too warm up especially if they are not used to being away from owners. They get extra extra attention, love, and reassurance. It doesn't take long for them to realize "wow! This is fun and relaxing" I do send tons of cute pics/video updates as I always want you to feel at ease and know your dog is in safe hands and having such a good time. I keep all room doors closed including the bathroom and I have the baby gates blocking the main kitchen area. All they have access is the whole living room and my room. I have water bowls out that I change multiple times throughout the day and everyone is fed separated never together for safety. All of my bowls, toys, beds, bedding gets sanitized and washed after each new dog visit. My whole home is doggie/puppy proof as well and I have big dog couch that at some point ends up being a pile of pups all napping with each other lol.

“Cynthia was wonderful! She was friendly, professional, and very communicative throughout my holiday trip. I’d happily book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

“We are so glad Tracey was available to take care of our pups while we were visiting Simi Valley and had a day at the Reagan Library planned without them. Tracey quickly figured out our dogs' favorite activities (the old one is a cuddler and the youngster is fetching obsessed). She was also great with us people providing prompt communication, darling photos, and showing up dependably. Definitely recommend her!”

“Andrew and Karrie are kind and reliable dog sitters. Finn has such a good time at their house and always comes home exhausted which if you know Finn is an accomplishment. I’m new to Simi Valley and so happy to find a reliable sitter with flexible availability.”

“Jiminy started wagging his tail right away. That is the best sign for a dog mom. Marcella sent photo plus her house house is in a very good location for the west Valley.”

“Ayni & Alfonsus were so sweet! You can tell they really love and care for all fur babies! My dog Charlie had such a fun time & got along with their dog Boba so well. Got lots of photos and videos throughout the day too. Would definitely bring Charlie back!”

“Our nervous little puppy Thor really enjoyed his time with Susan. It sounds like it took a day for him to warm up to Susan and the other dogs, since he can sometimes be fearful, but the next day he was running up the driveway, excited to return. He'd come home so tired from playing with the other dogs. Susan seems to have a few dogs there every day, which ended up being great socialization for Thor. She has a big backyard for them to play in, and a patio area inside for them to spend time when it's too hot out. She treated Thor well, and we look forward to having him stay with her again soon.”
“Christopher was wonderful with our boy. When it was time to come home, instead of being ready to leave he rolled over for a belly rub. My doggie is happy and so are we. Thank you so much.”

“Travis is so amazingly friendly and kept us updated on watsons stay. He has great experience working with extra large dogs (ours is a Great Dane) and it was a wonderful knowing he knew how to handle our super sweet but very large and energetic boy. Will absolutely use again and highly recommend for anyone else looking for a great daycare/boarding experience.”

“This was my dogs first time with a sitter, so I had some concerns. Stanislava was very nice and let us come a bit early. Her home was neat and clean and her dogs were friendly. I recived several photos throughout the day. Will use again.”

“Banana had a very warm and happy time with Yanelly and Michael. Even though it was a rainy day he had a good time with Conner, their cute little dog. When the rain eased up, Yanelly, Michael and Conner went for a walk with Banana. I felt very comfortable with the whole team when we picked up Banana. The pictures showed how happy he was. Thank you.”

“Magenka is an amazing sitter, we’re lucky we found her here on Rover. She’s incredibly caring, attentive, and sweet towards Bilbo. I felt at ease knowing my anxious dog was in such good hands. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone who truly loves and cares for pet.”

About: I’ve been animal-obsessed forever. I briefly planned to be a vet… until I discovered how temperatures are taken and quickly pivoted to professional pet spoiler. I’m the friend everyone calls for reliable dog sitting and cat sitting, and I treat every pet like my own (nicknames absolutely included). I have hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, and multi-pet households. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your house rules, and big on clear communication with photo and video updates so you always know your pet is safe and happy. After fostering a dozen pups, I had my first foster fail in 2014 when Stevie came home for good. He’s now my geriatric chihuahua, living his best life fueled by naps, Greenies, and prime sunbathing real estate. Your pet will get the same loving, attentive care! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible, work-from-home schedule much of the week, which allows me to give pets in my care plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about structuring my time around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and check-ins, and I always aim to keep each pet on their normal routine to minimize stress. Because I share my home with a senior chihuahua, I’m especially attuned to comfort, safety, and gentle care. Whether it’s daily walks, medication, or extra cuddle time, I build pet care into my week so every animal gets reliable, loving attention. I keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding, walk, medication, and care instructions — right down to favorite toys and nicknames. I treat every client’s home with great respect and always keep things clean and tidy. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, and I stay very attentive to your pet’s comfort, safety, and energy level. With my fostering experience and senior pet background, I’m patient, observant, and quick to flag anything that seems off. My goal is simple: you come home to a happy pet and a home exactly as you left it.
“My dog is so in love with Jeff, I’ve been calling him her boyfriend! I love knowing she’s going to be tired out after a walk with him, and that she’s can get all the cuddles and playtime she wants when I book him. Thank you!!”

“Cayley is absolutely amazing. We had never tried Rover before and our family was nervous of the thought of hiring a petsitter that wasn’t family. However after getting to know Cayley, we quickly became so comfortable and trusting in her work! After coming back from vacation, we can tell how loved and well cared for our furry-loved one has experienced. She will take great pics and nice detailed descriptions of how your pet is doing which will give you peace of mind. Overall, (like previously said) Cayley is exactly who you need to take care of your pets! :)”

“This was my first time using Rover, and Alexandra was sure to make me feel confident about my choice. She was very informative and very communicative. I will definitely be using her for a future Rover Experiences for my boys. Thank you again!”

About: For as long as I can remember I’ve had pets in the house. Mainly dogs and cats. I have a lot of energy so going to the park and making sure your pet sees plenty of daylight won’t be an issue. I am also not against having dogs or cats on the furniture but I will always respect a clients request to maintain any kind boundaries already in place! I am currently trying to take this on full time so you can contact me whenever! After reaching out to me I will notify in message about any changes, appointments or errands that might have an impact on schedule. I live in Reseda so the environment is pretty calm and perfect for a dog or two. Id like to say I’m pretty good at communication so feel free to ask anything, anytime!
“Sam has taken great care of our dog Rex over the past month, and also added on helping to care for our cats and house while we were away on vacation. He's very flexible and communicative, and has been accommodating to schedule changes throughout the holiday season. We're very thankful for his help in making sure all of our pets are safe and well-cared for when we're away from home!”

About: I've owned pets for the past 33 years as an adult. (I was also raised with cats and dogs growing up.) As an empty nester I'm enjoying this phase in my life caring for other people's furry family members as well. I am a pet owner, so I treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am caring, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and have A LOT of pet experience. I look for someone like myself when hiring a petsitter. I lead a very active lifestyle, usually I start my day at the gym or dance class then pick up dog walking jobs immediately following, mid-day or evening time. I do not have a job outside of the house besides petsitting. I have a completely fenced in large backyard. There is no way a dog could get out of my yard and I keep animals inside with me anyway, just go out for playtime and potty. I am aware that some pets like to try and escape so am extremely cautious when petsitting. I am thorough, clean up all dog poop and litter boxes, refill water bowls and feed animals as needed, give treats and/or medications as needed, and take dogs for walks. Currently I do not offer boarding because I am having home renovations being done and it would be disruptive/stressful for animals, but do plan on adding boarding at a later date.
“Madelyn is always so punctual, kind and caring with my dogs! My dogs love being walked by her! My dogs are senior type dogs that require a little more attention and care when it comes to their walks and she always makes sure to assess how they are doing before making them walk further than they should be as one of my dog has arthritis and a heart murmur. I highly recommend her!”

“Steve has a genuine interest in caring for my dog and wants to learn/walk my dog however I instruct him. He showed up willing to learn or follow direction and I am now going to be using him regularly”

“What a great relief to find Jacqui! Our dobie Marko almost immediately took to her with his tail vibrating with joy before they left for their hour walk. He returned panting and somewhat worn out for the rest of the afternoon. This is the first time we've used Rover - add to that our anxiety about leaving him with a "stranger." Other pet parents will understand how reassuring it is to find someone who can connect with one's fur baby. Jacqui's a pro with great instincts - asking about quirks like where he likes to be scratched, etc. We've already booked her for more walks which Marko is looking forward to.”

“Ilona was very calm and sweet at drop off. She took really good care of Choo Choo. She got him to eat which is quite a chore. She sent me pictures during his stay. I will definitely use her again.”

“Andrew and Karrie are wonderful hosts. My dog was well taken care of, and they were open to communicating with us while our dog was under their care. I recommend them without hesitation and will use them again.”

“Chris was great with Benji, we could tell Benji was having a blast and we’re relieved with the daily updates and pictures sent by him. Will definitely consider rebooking Chris for future occasions”

“Rachel & Demetra have been flexible when plans unexpectedly change and are always super communicative. Our dog Mia comes back from her stays very happy and calm. We're satisfied with our experience!”

“We would 100% recommend Chase for pet sitting. He was so kind and flexible when our plans changed last minute. He sent pictures each day, was able to give her daily medications and overall took very good care of our Millie. He provided a safe and calm home that is very much appreciated. Will use again!”

“Here's a revised version of your text with some adjustments for clarity and flow: Kiyarash did a great job watching my dog, Oreo. When I picked him up, he was calm and happy to see me, which assured me he had been in good hands. The last time I had a sitter, Oreo returned very jumpy and shaky. However, Kiyarash really took care of him, and I will definitely be rebooking him again.”

“Our dog Comet spent a wonderful 17 days with Silvana, while we were in NYC. We received daily updates with wonderful pics of Comet playing with the other dogs there. Silvana did a great job of looking after her. She has a wonderful yard. Silvana and her family are terrific people.”

“I had the most wonderful experience with this lovely family. I tried Rover couple times before but they are at another level!!! They really took care of Lily and sent me tons of videos and photos. They took my dog to walk twice a day and even went to see Christmas lights!!! I would definitely 110% recommend Kalani to anyone!”

“Cayley was fantastic!!! Not only did she take our reservation super last minute, she really went above and beyond taking our dog in hikes and providing all the snuggles my Velcro dog craves. Can’t thank you enough Cayley. Mina will definitely be missing you and your family.”

“Hasmik was great. I had never left my baby with anyone. She took such good care of him that he didn't even miss his mom and dad. He is our first (human or otherwise) so we were very nervous. She sent lots of photos and put my mind at ease. She will be my go to sitter.😊”

“We were so thrilled to fund a great match with Neda for our Flynn. We boarded with Neda for an extended weekend, and she kept us updated with messages and pics throughout his stay. Thank you for welcoming him in to your home!”

“AMAZING at her job. We had a situation where we needed our Uncles dog watched for 30 days and we found Melissa. She did an amazing job and even helped put Tiny on a diet. We felt very safe knowing Tiny was in good hands 🙌🏻 Highly recommend her !!!!!!!!”

“Mae made my first time leaving my Frenchie with someone outside of family so easy and comforting. She and her family cared for her like their own and sent sweet updates throughout the weekend. I’m so grateful for Mae’s kindness and will definitely book with her again!”
