About: I’ve been a pet owner for 25 years. I use to be a zookeeper for 8 years and have worked with exotic animals for over 10. I have basic training skills and am good with large dogs. I am currently working part time and have most days free and evenings as well. Local neighborhood walks or pick ups would be ideal, but not necessary. I currently do not have any other pets. I do have a fenced in back yard and live in a house. Bathroom breaks can happen frequently when boarding.

About: I've owned pets for the past 33 years as an adult. (I was also raised with cats and dogs growing up.) As an empty nester I'm enjoying this phase in my life caring for other people's furry family members as well. I am a pet owner, so I treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am caring, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and have A LOT of pet experience. I look for someone like myself when hiring a petsitter. I lead a very active lifestyle, usually I start my day at the gym or dance class then pick up dog walking jobs immediately following, mid-day or evening time. There is no way a dog could get out of my yard and I keep animals inside with me anyway, just go out for playtime and potty. I am aware that some pets like to try and escape so am extremely cautious when petsitting. I am thorough, clean up all dog poop and litter boxes, refill water bowls and feed animals as needed, give treats and/or medications as needed, and take dogs for walks. Currently I do not offer boarding because I am having home renovations being done and it would be disruptive/stressful for animals, but do plan on adding boarding at a later date.

“Thank you so much to Renata and her family for looking after our 1 year old Chihuahua-mix named Sydney. We are not used to leaving her since she is so young, so I was very sad and anxious. It was our first time using Rover and any service like this. Reneta kindly offered a free meet-and-greet so Sydney could briefly get to know her house, yard, and pets. While we were on a 4-night vacation, we got tons of updates and pictures from Renata! Renata was kind enough to let Sydney sleep in her bed, and I am sure Sydney sometimes woke her for some late-night potty times. Renata also mentioned Sydney got better at playing and socializing with her own dogs, as well as the dog she cares for during her doggy daycare. I would 100% recommend her, and I certainly intend to use her services again soon! It's so nice to know as a new dog mommy that I can have the freedom to travel and truly know my baby is taken care of. Sydney seems happy too - its as if her eyes ar saying "Wow! I had a great time!" “We were visiting Las Vegas and needed last‑minute care for our two elderly dogs, and Diane truly went above and beyond. Not only did she welcome both of our girls on short notice, she cared for them for four days during a week of extreme heat — something they wouldn’t have tolerated safely. This was our first time using Rover, and Diane made the entire experience feel easy and reassuring. She was wonderfully communicative from start to finish, sending updates and photos throughout their stay. One of our girls, Sherry, had an upset stomach, and Diane was so attentive and comforting, letting us know she was keeping a close eye on her. Her kindness allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip, knowing our dogs were in safe, loving hands. We are incredibly grateful for her care and hope to use her babysitting services again.
