About: I have had rescue dogs my whole life, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have special needs. I also worked in a pet supply store for 2 years, so I have interacted with a wide variety of behaviors and care requirements. My schedule is currently very flexible, so I can make myself available at any time with enough notice, including periods like nights, weekends, and holidays. About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. Either way, we'll have a good time and you'll get photos afterward so you can see their adventure. At the end of the day, I know that pets aren't "just pets." They're family. I also know how much trust it takes to hand over your keys and leave someone in charge of a furry family member you love. My goal is to make that decision feel easy by giving your companion lots of care, attention, and affection while keeping you updated every step of the way. I'd love to meet you and your furry companion! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. In my professional life, I've worked as an engineer, but right now I'm taking time off and intentionally spending more time focusing on the people, experiences, and things that bring me joy! Including caring for animals! Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I genuinely enjoy making pets a part of my day. I'm also a big believer in keeping owners updated, so sending photos and little updates throughout the day is something I genuinely enjoy, not something I do out of obligation. At this time, I only provide care in my clients' homes. I find that pets are often happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment where they can stick to their normal routines. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, habits, schedule, favorite activities, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Every pet is different, and I try to tailor my care to their individual needs. For house sitting, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible while you're away. I'll follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, give plenty of attention and companionship, administer medications if needed, and keep your home tidy and secure. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: I have fostered cats since 2020 and have volunteered at my local animal shelters since 2018. I am familiar working with cats and kittens of all ages and needs (bottle feeding - seniors) and can confidently give medicine and clean pets with extra needs. I have worked with small dogs throughout this time (helping stimulate/play and clean them up) and have taken care of young puppies <1 year overnight with around the clock care. I am completely free on weekends from 4am-10pm and am flexible with my hours especially if overnight care is needed. I work full time on weekdays and have a flexible schedule which allows me to work remotely from 7am-4pm. I am free for visits and caregiving 4am-6am and 4pm-10pm on weekdays. I am comfortable and willing to respect your animal’s boundaries where needed, and I will do whatever I can to ensure your pet is safe. About: We are our pets entire world. So of course they get excited off of the little things. They deserve fun park walks, chasing squirrels, hikes and beach dates added with some delicious healthy peanut butter treats or real fruit snacks. 😊 Im currently working part time jobs, so I have time during the morning and afternoons to walk your pups while full time parents are at work. I have 2 dogs of my own and when I would be at work stressed about my dogs going out, I didn’t want to just call any random person. I love my babies, they are my kids. So I know how important it is to leave your babies with someone who actually loves dogs. I understand how scary it can be to let someone in your home, I am more than willing to meet before so that we can get to know each other before you decide if you want to open your home up to me.
