I began my first years of schooling with intentions of becoming a Veterinarian. Needless to say, I decided to go a different route into healthcare. As a former surgical tech assistant for a Veterinary clinic, I use my communicative and positive/enthusiastic nature to make both owners and their pets feel comfortable around me. About: I am a Victoria Stilwell Academy-Certified Dog Trainer (VSA-CDT) and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I am a certified dog groomer, and for six years, I was responsible for managing the grooming at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility. In addition to dog sitting services, I offer dog training and limited dog grooming services. I have over ten years of professional experience with dogs and additional experience caring for various other species. I have deployed as a member of the Florida State Animal Response Coalition, where I assisted the ASPCA with the daily sheltering and care of some of the 367 dogs rescued in the second-largest dogfighting raid in the US. I have a dog and cat first aid certification from the American Red Cross. I am in charge of my own schedule, so I am flexible and able to devote quality time and attention to the animals in my care. Safety is my number one priority, so I don't allow dogs off leash in public places unless it's in an enclosed area where it's legal to do so, e.g., a dog park.
