“Anthony is very patient and calm with our nervous dog. He always messages ahead of time to let me know he's on the way and arrives on time. He makes the effort to gain the trust of our dog. I am looking forward to having him care for her more.”

“Megan has taken such great care of my precious Penny girl and I am beyond thankful for her. She’s consistent, friendly, and most of all, she’s great with Pen. With such a busy schedule, it brings me so much peace of mind knowing Megan is there to play with, feed, and walk Penny. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Adeline is such a gem—so sweet, caring, and passionate. She’s wonderful with my 4-year-old, AMAZING with my puppy, and my dogs cherish her as much as I do. She’s reliable, attentive, and I know I can count on her to give the best care. I’m so grateful to have found her as our weekly sitter. She’s the best!!”

About: Animals have always been an integral part of my life and have shaped me in fundamental ways as a human. I grew up in a home with six cats and two dogs in a farming area, and now I share my life with three four‑year‑old cats who are my everything. I also rescued a senior dog for hospice care and was grateful for the loving time we had together and that I could hold him as he passed. That experience has made me especially gentle and attentive with older, sensitive, or medically fragile pets. I’m calm, patient, and very detail‑oriented: I follow your routines exactly, keep food, water, and litter areas clean, and send thoughtful photo updates so you can relax while you’re away because I know how important that is with my pets. Your pets will be treated like the beloved family members they are. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I offer flexible daytime and early evening drop‑in visits around Woodland Hills, and I only accept bookings when I know I can be fully present, unhurried, and attentive with your pets. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your routines and safety instructions exactly. I keep doors and gates securely closed, double‑check leashes and harnesses, and am careful with indoor/outdoor boundaries. I move calmly and quietly so pets feel safe, keep food, water, and litter areas clean, and always tidy up before I leave. You’ll receive thoughtful updates and photos after each visit so you know how your pets are doing and can trust that your home is respected.

About: I’m a dedicated pet owner with experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities. I currently have a 13-year-old American Bulldog, a young French Bulldog puppy, a 6-year-old cat, and caged pets. Caring for both a senior dog and a puppy has given me experience with different energy levels, routines, training needs, and age-related care. I believe every pet is unique and deserves individualized attention. Whether your pet needs extra patience, a structured routine, medication reminders, playtime, or simply lots of affection, I take the time to learn their personality and provide care tailored to their specific needs. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As an education professional, I’m off during the summer months and have a flexible schedule. My puppy follows a strict daily routine, so I’m already accustomed to planning my day around an animal’s needs. This makes it easy for me to provide dependable, attentive care and maintain your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining the routine they’re familiar with. I understand that every pet has different needs based on their age, personality, energy level, and health, and I take the time to learn what works best for each individual animal. As a pet owner caring for both a senior dog and a young puppy, I have experience with the patience, consistency, and attention required at different life stages. I understand the importance of scheduled feedings, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training reinforcement, medication administration, and adequate rest. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions and providing regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to treat your pets with the same level of care, respect, and attention that I give my own.
“I had a great experience with Anna. I was comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with her while I was traveling. She was taking good care of them, made each visit on time and kept me updated about everything.”

About: I love to go on long walks and give consistent attention. I’ve had pets my whole life I just can’t afford one right now otherwise I would. I believe your little one with have a great time in my care. I am currently working from home and like to take breaks to go on walks for fresh air so I’d love the company. I also enjoy going to the dog park to watch the dogs play. I live in a large house and have a back yard. I have a dog bed as well as a cat box because I use to have both. I would truly love the company and enjoy just chilling on the couch or playing at the park.

About: I’ve spent lots of time around animals, and I have a dog of my own! I’m very patient because I work with kids and that transfers into this line of work well! I’m working part-time and have easy transportation which makes this a great gig for me. I’m flexible with my availability and I care about the work that I do. I have a dog named Codi who is my world and I adopted him at 4 weeks old and that taught me a lot about puppy care. I love walks with him and taking him on car rides. He loves to run around with me doing everything!
About: We are back!! We are excited to connect with all of you after taking a little bit of a break. We have looked after many doggies. Now, we are taking 2 at a time depending on each individual doggies personality. We of course won’t always be booked with two, but if it works, it works. We are people who will get back to you right away and communicate honestly always. We lost our dog in Sept 2021 and watching others dogs allows us the cuddles and love that we truly miss so much. I am a Fine Art photographer. I’m home working most days and so is my Beau. Days go like this… Ha Wake up. Walk. Eat. Play. I edit. We cuddle. I edit . We walk. Snack. I edit. We cuddle. Play. I edit. We walk. We will treat your doggie like our own. Whatever their needs are we provide. We have a Client, who we adore , and whenever they bring over their Doggie Doo they come with their very large couch pillows. The reason for this is because their Doggie has back problems, so our whole living room is a slumber party at all times. We have built a solid customer base, however, doggies get older, etc… So there is always room for more love. At this point, we don’t like to be without a baby. Wink

About: Fostered young kittens and cats for 2 years. And had a dog growing up my whole life :) makes me happy to be able to spend time with them <3 I work from home everyday of the week except Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. So am able to make this work most days! Also live in a great pet friendly neighborhood so lots of space for walks. I make sure the pets are not feeling forced and give them space to adapt on their own to the new apartment. I’ve seen it works better! And same with introducing myself in their usual environment
“Kristen took such good care of our cat while we were out of town for a week. She is a true cat lover and really treated him like her own! She left our house tidy as well - even organizing our very messy cat cabinet :). Thank you Kristen!!!!”

Caira was wonderful! She was very sweet and I felt comfortable leaving my cat in her care. She even took the time to meet my cat beforehand, which I greatly appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was well looked after. I would happily book with her again.

We are so happy we found Cecilia to take care of our two cats. It was a huge relief to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that they were in good hands. Cecilia was super responsive to messages, very reliable and consistent with time, and she even managed to get our very shy rescue cat come out to say hello! The photos she sent every day made us smile and we knew the cats were happy based on their behavior. We would highly recommend and will absolutely be booking Cecilia again next time we travel!

Adriana is a natural with cats. We have two cats, one is outgoing and friendly, the other is shy and friendly. I didn't think she'd see the shy one for a few days, but during our meet Adriana sat down and the shy cat came running to her. Adriana visited the cats daily while we were away, took care of everything on our checklist and provided great photos along with a summary of each visit. 10/10 would recommend!
We’ve used Silvia a bunch of times over the years, and she’s always been incredible. She’s reliable, attentive, and truly treats our furry crew like her own. The regular updates and photos give us total peace of mind while we’re away. We’re so grateful to have her—highly recommended!

Jayline was amazing with my cat, Houshang, while we were traveling for 2 weeks! She took such great care of him, made sure he got all of his medication on time, and followed every instruction perfectly. She was always punctual, super nice, and very flexible, which made everything stress-free for me. Knowing Houshang was in such good hands gave us real peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
