Turkey has made friends and has had a great time at Dana’s place. She has a special dog room for the pups who just wanna hang out and lay around in the air conditioning and a nice patio with toys and fresh water available. I’m so thankful I found her.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Kiyarash while visiting California for a family vacation. Leaving our puppy with someone new while traveling can be stressful, but they immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that our boy was in great hands. They were caring, communicative, and clearly treated our puppy as if he was their own. He came home happy and well cared for! We’re so grateful for the peace of mind they gave us during our trip. Her communications are clear and concise and we feel relaxed to have our dog Maxx stay with her for doggie daycare or anytime overnight. Maxx our dog looked like he had visited summer camp when we picked him up and wanted to return many times because he was welcomed like he was visiting his family. Ana is truly a gift to many and makes taking of dogs look easy. We know many dogs have been helped by Ana and feel lucky to have located her on Rover. We tried others but Ana is the best!!!! About: I am dog owner with 5+ experience. I adopt dog from the street in Ukrainian war. I always help my friends, neighbors to walk with their dogs of different sizes and breeds. I am working in Medical center. I am free for dog walking weekday 6-9 pm. During all weekends. Can bring your pets to Park Serrania for amazing walking. I have two beautiful dogs: Jack Russell terrier and Mix breed dog, who was saved in Ukrainian war from the street. They will be so happy to have new friends 🐾🐾🐾
About: I had 2 wonderful rescue dogs when I was in my 20s. They passed away and then I fostered kittens in my spare time. I don't currently foster but I still love caring for animals. I’m available to come give your dog a walk or feed any of your animals or stay with them for awhile - including overnights if I’m showing as available for housesittijg those days. Have a fish tank? I can give your fish some food too and for a recent client brought their small tortoises inside during the nighttime each night for a 3-night overnight booking, and have fed a bearded dragon mealworms.. :) My 14 year-old son wants to be a veterinarian and has gone to summer camp at America's Teaching Zoo in Moorpark. If you book me and there's any times for when he'd be not in school, I'll check to see if you want him to come along. Animals love him so much and as you can see from my photo gallery, it seems they prefer to cuddle and play with him than me sometimes :D I ask ahead of time and if you prefer that only I visit / stay, that's completely fine and he'd stay at our own house with our cat Mango. My schedule is updated on Rover related to job bookings. I'm available to come do a couple of walks a day on days with availability or do overnight sitting. I absolutely love cats and dogs who keep me feeling young :) My yard is not fenced, so if you need boarding I have the ability to bring dogs out to my yard or take them on walks in my safe neighborhood but they would not be outside alone. I can also go to your home and sit with your pet, go on walks or play. Cleaning up after a pet is expected including messes or litterboxes. I also offer walking service for dogs and nail trimming for cats and dogs.
“Canmy and sal are so sweet. This was the first daycare for my dog shanti after the mert and greet. Got lots of pix and updates and ahe was very flexible with pick up time as traffic was bad on the way back. Will book the longer stay next time as we have to go away soon. 👍”

“Jiminy started wagging his tail right away. That is the best sign for a dog mom. Marcella sent photo plus her house house is in a very good location for the west Valley.”

“Very pleasant experience. She was always very kind and polite. She communicated often with photos and updates about my pups. She took them on 3 walks a day. She did a lot more than I expected and I intend to go back to her every time. Glad I found her!”

“We’ve never felt so good about sending our dog somewhere for the day! Finn gets SO excited when we pull up to Nadia’s house. He is always so happy when he gets home and we know he loves his day playing with all the dogs and Nadia’s daughter. 100% recommend sending your pup to Nadia’s!!”

We were very lucky to have found Brooke! We needed a last minute sitter that could watch our pup for the entire day with a late-night pickup, and she was happy to accommodate us. She was very communicative throughout the stay, and it was such a relief knowing our dog was in good hands with all the pictures & updates that were sent to us. Brooke is an absolute gem - we will definitely be booking with her again!

This is my first time using Rover and I am very satisfied. Melissa was a fantastic and reliable sitter for my sick little Romeo. Melissa did everything as I requested and kept my dog comfortable by cuddling, which he loved. 🥰 Melissa picked up my dog and brought back to the hotel with short time change request which I appreciate very much! I highly recommend Melissa and Rover!

We had such a great experience and are so grateful for the care they gave our baby girl. Our dog has separation anxiety, and they were incredibly patient and calming with her from the start. Our pup settled in much quicker than we expected and looked so comfortable and happy! They even took her on walks with the other dogs, which was amazing! We also accidentally forgot to bring her food, and they kindly made sure she was fed and taken care of without any issue. Thank you again! :-)

Frank took care of my 3 Dogs today, and it was fun for them, and a lifesaver for me! 😊🐾💙💙💙 I received a video and photo’’s while I was hosting my Granddaughter’s 1st BD party and it made me happy to see them enjoying themselves in a beautiful, large backyard. This was my first experience having all three away from me, and I have to recommend Frank and give him an A+! My boys are exhausted, happy, safe and sleeping soundly now. 👍😊🐾

Louella was great with Sonny. This was our puppy’s first time going to day care and we couldn’t be happier that it was with her. She made sure to keep us updated with pictures and videos throughout the day. She is a great communicator and answered any questions we had. You can tell she truly cares for every dog that walks in her home. Sonny will definitely be coming back!

Karly took amazing care of Archie! He felt comfortable with her right from the beginning and got the chance to play and run around in her yard. Karly made sure Archie had his meals, got lots of treats and pets, had his potty breaks and sent updates throughout his stay. Would recommend Karly!

Mona did an amazing job at taking care of my new puppy named Picco. I am also a Rover sitter so my standards are very high. I don’t just leave him with anyone. Mona made me feel at ease while I went to work. She provided me with lot of pictures of him having fun with the other dogs. He is so excited to go back to Doggy Day Care again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Woodland Hills commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
