About: I understand how important it is for you that your pet gets the best experience possible. I treat every dog like it is my own, showing them unconditional love, going on walks, and playing at the park. I have a bond with every animal I come across and I hope to make yours part of that experience. While watching your pet I will give you regular updates and call you accordingly if any issues should come up. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions or concerns, I will gladly answer them. I hope to meet you and your four legged friend soon. Reviews are appreciated🐶🐾 Pet care fits very easily into my current routine because I am not working at the moment, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I am available almost anytime throughout the week and can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I can easily adjust my schedule based on each pet’s individual routine and needs. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park and lots of space to run around and play. I do have a dog of my own who is a little shy and can take some warming up too.
“We had such a wonderful experience with Kiyarash while visiting California for a family vacation. Leaving our puppy with someone new while traveling can be stressful, but they immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that our boy was in great hands. They were caring, communicative, and clearly treated our puppy as if he was their own. He came home happy and well cared for! We’re so grateful for the peace of mind they gave us during our trip. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter, and we would happily book with them again in the future!”

About: I have experience in the veterinary field through a veterinary science program that prepared me for pre-veterinary studies. I volunteered over 40 hours with the Chesterfield Humane Society (Virginia) as well with kennel cleaning, walking and play, administering medicine, etc. I acquired skills such as grooming, daily care to include feeding and walking, neonatal care, noticing problems and signs of distress, medicinal administration techniques, and I even have a yorkipoo and shihpoo of my own. My yorkipoo is 16 years old. I’m very comfortable with dogs and I consider mine my furry, fluffy babies. I know how important your pets are, so I treat them how I would want mine to be treated when I need pet care. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to spend a significant amount of time with pets throughout the day. I can provide daycare, walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I have a senior 17-year-old Yorkipoo, so my apartment is already safety-proofed and designed with pets in mind. My home has hardwood floors so messes are easy to solve, and I prioritize a calm, clean, secure environment.
“Armando took great care of our dog, Mancha, with very little advanced notice. He was very flexible with timing and even agreed to a last minute evening meet and greet so our dog could warm up to him before spending the whole day at his place. The next morning, he was excited for his drop off at Armando’s. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our dog! We are excited to rebook in the future if need be.”

“I am so thankful I found Ori. I’m visiting family here and needed a sitter for a day. She did an amazing job caring for my two pups. She sent lots of pictures and provided updates. Both my babies had a great time. I will definitely use Ori again!”

About: Hi, I’m Julia! I’ve been a dog sitter for 10 years and absolutely love spending time with animals of all kinds. I have two dogs of my own and lots of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including: • Puppies, kittens, and senior pets • Dogs recovering from cancer or amputation • Dogs who experience seizures • Pets with limited mobility or arthritis • Dogs with chewing habits and anxiety • Medications and following special routines I’ve also watched cats and would love to gain more experience with them too! Above all, I truly love caring for animals and want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I always keep communication open and send regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I am available for only boarding/house sitting during the work week (Mon-Fri) and available for all care including drop ins, walks, house sitting and boarding on weekends :) With my extensive experience of watching dogs I’ve learned a lot about keeping animals safe. I’m constantly keeping an eye on them and looking out for any potential hazards. I always create a safety plan with the pet parent beforehand so if anything ever did happen we can get your pet the care it needs as soon as possible .

Nick and Laura are very welcoming to you and your dogs! I dropped Milo off for a day of doggy daycare to socialize with other dogs and people, too! They have Moose and Hazel, and another Doodle was there for him to play and interact with. They sent me pictures during the time, and Milo looked happy and was just chillin'. I will definitely take him back there for future doggy play time!

Absolutely wonderful! Diogee had a great time and her dogs are sweet and well-trained. They know a LOT about dogs and how to care for them. They were communicative, friendly, accommodating and I would HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again as soon as I get the chance!

Booking with Kiyarash and his wife was a very pleasant experience. Their house is straightforward to get to, and it is nice that they have another small dog at home. I also really appreciated that they were able to reliably administer Tino's medication. Highly recommend!

We were very lucky to have found Brooke! We needed a last minute sitter that could watch our pup for the entire day with a late-night pickup, and she was happy to accommodate us. She was very communicative throughout the stay, and it was such a relief knowing our dog was in good hands with all the pictures & updates that were sent to us. Brooke is an absolute gem - we will definitely be booking with her again!

Frank took care of my 3 Dogs today, and it was fun for them, and a lifesaver for me! 😊🐾💙💙💙 I received a video and photo’’s while I was hosting my Granddaughter’s 1st BD party and it made me happy to see them enjoying themselves in a beautiful, large backyard. This was my first experience having all three away from me, and I have to recommend Frank and give him an A+! My boys are exhausted, happy, safe and sleeping soundly now. 👍😊🐾

Louella was great with Sonny. This was our puppy’s first time going to day care and we couldn’t be happier that it was with her. She made sure to keep us updated with pictures and videos throughout the day. She is a great communicator and answered any questions we had. You can tell she truly cares for every dog that walks in her home. Sonny will definitely be coming back!

Karly took amazing care of Archie! He felt comfortable with her right from the beginning and got the chance to play and run around in her yard. Karly made sure Archie had his meals, got lots of treats and pets, had his potty breaks and sent updates throughout his stay. Would recommend Karly!

Mona did an amazing job at taking care of my new puppy named Picco. I am also a Rover sitter so my standards are very high. I don’t just leave him with anyone. Mona made me feel at ease while I went to work. She provided me with lot of pictures of him having fun with the other dogs. He is so excited to go back to Doggy Day Care again!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Canoga Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
