Ori is a pro. She took really good care of my girl when I was on vacation for a whole 2 weeks. She was always careful and attentive when doing dog introductions, and was sure to give my dog lots of play time but also rest time as needed. I appreciated her updates while I was away. My dog obviously likes Ori and her husband, and they like her too. I felt comfortable leaving her with them.

We've NEVER had a dog sitter who was this good - and our dog is 8 1/2 years old! Many dog sitters are deterred by the idea of caring for our dog because he has seizures. Ori read over his file/instructions carefully before she responded to my request. She has experience caring for dogs with medical needs and reported that she didn't find anything in his file that she couldn't handle. And she was right! Our dog takes important medication 2x day to prevent his seizures. He refused to take his meds the first day and Ori did not give up! She sent her husband to the store for cream cheese since he refused the lunch meat we usually use. She crafted a new pill delivery system for our boy. Thankfully, he finally took his pills. Although during the 4 day stay he never gave her an easy time with the medication delivery, she (& her family) understood the importance of him getting his meds and persisted - with love & kindness! She reported that sometimes her husband would sing to and cuddle our dog in order to relax him so he would take his pills. Ori also has a great routine for the dogs who stay with her that incudes lots of activity and playtime. We got about 6-8 photos DAILY of our happy dog playing in Ori's fun activity areas. Her family even brushed his long thick fur during his stay! I was nervous that Ori would say that our stubborn dog who a barks a lot is not welcome back to her board & care, but she reports she will watch him again. Even though our dog can be stubborn, difficult and loud, he was no match for Ori and her family's strong routines, persistence, love, and kindness. I feel so happy to know that we have a great place to leave our fellow in the future. If she will have him, he will definitely be back! Don't hesitate to leave your trusted pet with Ori and her family. She is everything you hope to find in a sitter and more!!

Safety, trust & environment

We love giving our guest pups plenty of affection and treats (always with the owner’s permission). Meals and potty breaks are customized based on each dog’s routine and needs. We go on three long walks a day around our peaceful neighborhood, so your pup will get lots of exercise and fresh air. Our front and back yards are fully enclosed with secure 6-foot-high fencing, providing a safe space to play and relax. Fresh water is always available throughout the day in clean bowls.

A typical day

A Typical Day at Ori's Dog Daycare & Boarding Every dog has their own personality and routine, but this is what a typical day with us looks like: 6:30–7:00 AM – Morning Walk We start the day with a neighborhood walk so everyone can stretch their legs, sniff around, and take care of their morning potty break. 7:00–7:30 AM – Breakfast After our walk, we head inside for breakfast. Once everyone finishes eating, the dogs relax for about 20–30 minutes to allow their food to settle before playtime. Morning Playtime After breakfast, it's time for supervised play! Dogs enjoy games of fetch, stuffed toys, enrichment activities, and plenty of social play with their friends. During the warmer months, we also include pool time and water play to help everyone stay cool and have fun. 12:00–12:30 PM – Midday Walk We head out for another neighborhood walk before coming back inside for some quiet time. Afternoon Rest Dogs relax indoors in the air conditioning for 1½–2 hours. During this time, they receive a snack, enjoy some downtime, and recharge before the afternoon activities. Afternoon Playtime Once everyone is rested, we head back outside for another supervised play session with toys, games, and social interaction. 5:30–6:00 PM – Evening Walk & Dinner The day winds down with another walk followed by dinner. In the summer, we usually spend a little more time outside since it's still light and the temperatures are cooler. During the winter, we adjust our schedule and head indoors earlier as it gets dark. Evening Wind-Down Before bedtime, everyone comes inside to relax. We play calming music, enjoy quiet cuddle and petting time, offer a bedtime snack, and settle in for a peaceful night's sleep. Feeding If your dog normally eats only once a day or skips a meal, that's completely fine. While the other dogs are eating, your pup can relax, enjoy a snack (if approved), or spend some quiet time outside under supervision. Daycare Our daycare dogs follow the same fun routine as our boarding guests, just on a shorter schedule. Daycare includes up to 8 hours of care. Pickup is based on your dog's drop-off time (for example, an 8:00 AM drop-off includes pickup by 4:00 PM). We offer a 2-hour grace period if you're running late. After that, an additional $10 per hour will apply. We have a securely fenced front and back yard, and we always keep fresh bowls of water out throughout the day. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can see just how much fun your doggie is having!
