Melissa did everything as I requested and kept my dog comfortable by cuddling, which he loved. 🥰 Melissa picked up my dog and brought back to the hotel with short time change request which I appreciate very much! About: I got my first dog when I was 5 and it was my responsibility to feed, wash, and care for her. I’m an animal lover who currently has two small senior dogs (Maltese and silky terrier) as well as one cat (grey tabby). On top of the animal mom title, I have three little ones of my own. They love animals as much as their mom! My husband has a police officer brother who has trained k9’s his whole life and has tons of experience with obedience and training tactics. Daniel has learned from his brother a lifetime of knowledge and experience with all breeds of dogs after training German shepherds and labs primarily. We won’t train your dog, but we have the ability to teach and handle all kinds of fur babies (big or small). Since I’m a stay at home mom, I can board cats and dogs as needed. Our animals love other pets and are really friendly. Dogs shower weekly and take monthly flea medicine so they are always clean. I have a house with a fenced backyard and room to roam inside. Since we live in Woodland Hills where wild animals are seen every week (skunks, rabbits, raccoons, opossums, coyotes, etc.) we don’t let the animals or kids to be out without an adult. We take extra precautions to be safe and never alone. It’s a family home where pets are part of our family and so will your fur baby. P.S: We also don’t have cages or crates.

About: With lifelong experience caring for dogs, horses, and cats, I'm an animal lover and horse whisperer. I train my pets, provide energy healing, and enjoy daily walks. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, as I work from home and have the flexibility to design my own schedule. As an energy healing practitioner, I prioritize mindfulness and balance, which extends to my pets. I incorporate playtime, walks, and training when needed into my day, ensuring they receive ample exercise and mental stimulation. During breaks from my meditation and yoga sessions, I find joy in spending quality time with my pets, fostering a nurturing environment. Their companionship enhances my work-life balance, and I often use sound healing techniques to create a calming atmosphere for both myself and my furry friends. Caring for pets in my home is a thoughtful process. I have a fenced yard where your dog can play safely alongside my sweet 15 year old boxer, who loves companionship. I welcome only dogs that are friendly with cats, as my 4 year old indoor cat enjoys their company. I feed all dogs outside, right in front of my kitchen, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Cats are fed separately in the kitchen, with their food placed on furniture to keep is safe from curious dogs. For hydration, I have a water fountain for the cats and a water dispenser for the dogs, both inside and outside for the dogs. When needed, I can easily crate your dog at night; my boxer is crate trained but prefers to sleep freely now. I require that you bring your dog and cat with their own bed, food, and treats, ensuring they feel comfortable. Additionally, It's essential that all pets have a collar with a tag and a leash for safety. This structured approach helps create a harmonious atmosphere for all furry friends in my care.

About: Hi, I’m Julia! I’ve been a dog sitter for 10 years and absolutely love spending time with animals of all kinds. I have two dogs of my own and lots of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including: • Puppies, kittens, and senior pets • Dogs recovering from cancer or amputation • Dogs who experience seizures • Pets with limited mobility or arthritis • Dogs with chewing habits and anxiety • Medications and following special routines I’ve also watched cats and would love to gain more experience with them too! Above all, I truly love caring for animals and want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I always keep communication open and send regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I am available for only boarding/house sitting during the work week (Mon-Fri) and available for all care including drop ins, walks, house sitting and boarding on weekends :) With my extensive experience of watching dogs I’ve learned a lot about keeping animals safe. I’m constantly keeping an eye on them and looking out for any potential hazards. I always create a safety plan with the pet parent beforehand so if anything ever did happen we can get your pet the care it needs as soon as possible .

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I’ve been caring for pets for years, building a network of happy clients through neighbors, family friends, and word of mouth. Dogs, cats, puppies, seniors — I’ve done it all, from quick drop-ins to six-month house sits. Whatever your pet needs, I show up with a full heart, active energy and a real routine that keeps them happy and at ease. I pride myself on being someone pet owners can truly trust. During the LA wildfires, I was house sitting near the evacuation zones when I made the call to safely pack up my client’s pets and their most precious belongings and get out, keeping everyone and everything safe until they could come home. That’s the kind of sitter I am: calm, present, and completely committed. I genuinely love this work. Waking up with a dog to walk, taking them out on hikes through the hills, spending the day giving them cuddles and all the attention they deserve, it truly fills my cup. Your pets won’t just be cared for, they’ll be showered with joy and mirth! Based in the Woodland Hills and Topanga area, available for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, and daycare. Pet care is woven into my daily life naturally and genuinely. I keep an open, flexible schedule which means I’m truly present with the animals in my care — mornings start with walks and feeding routines, days are filled with playtime, cuddles and attention, and evenings wind down with the kind of calm, settled care that helps pets feel secure. I don’t rush off to a nine to five. I’m here, and your pet feels that. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety and comfort are everything to me. In my own space, I live with my cat Milo and keep a calm, cozy, pet friendly environment with plenty of room to relax and explore. A partner is often home as well, so your pet always has loving company and is never left alone for long. The Topanga and Woodland Hills area means we’re surrounded by nature with beautiful trails and open space right at our doorstep for walks, hikes and outdoor adventures. In your home I adapt completely to your pet’s existing routine, environment and needs. I learn their habits, respect their space and follow your instructions carefully. I treat every home I work in as if it were my own - with attentiveness, care and a deep sense of responsibility. Your pet, your home and everything you love will be looked after with the same devotion I bring to my own.

We had such a wonderful experience with Kiyarash while visiting California for a family vacation. Leaving our puppy with someone new while traveling can be stressful, but they immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that our boy was in great hands. They were caring, communicative, and clearly treated our puppy as if he was their own. He came home happy and well cared for! We’re so grateful for the peace of mind they gave us during our trip. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter, and we would happily book with them again in the future!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Hidden Hills

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Hidden Hills on Rover is $55.5 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 6,683 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hidden Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hidden Hills commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 6,683 sitters in Hidden Hills, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
