About: My journey with pet care began with my own dogs, and now, I have the privilege of caring for other's pets as if they were my own. I understand that every pet is unique, and I'm committed to providing the best care tailored to your pet's needs. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry friend! Working from home full-time allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I can easily accommodate walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m happy to follow any special instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, or specific care needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I am the proud owner of two gentle, senior dogs and have a spacious, securely fenced backyard. This welcoming environment is perfect for hosting your dog, providing them with companionship and plenty of space to explore.

About: I have experience caring for dogs and have a dog of my own. I offer boarding, walks, and plenty of playtime. With your permission, I also love making dog-friendly homemade treats for pups to enjoy during their stay! I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your pup in someone else’s care, so I provide regular updates and lots of pictures throughout their stay. Please let me know about any dietary restrictions, special routines, or concerns around other dogs so I can make reasonable accommodations. My goal is to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind while you’re away! I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company and will not be left alone or unattended during their stay. I also don’t like sitting for long periods of time, which means lots of opportunities for playtime, attention, walks, and activity throughout the day! My Rover calendar is kept up to date, and if anything unexpected comes up that could affect your pup’s stay, I will communicate with you as soon as possible. I live in a home with a fully fenced yard in a safe neighborhood. Your pup will never be left unattended, and their safety, comfort, and well-being will always be my top priority. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home, while also giving you peace of mind knowing your pup is in caring and attentive hands.
“Jiminy started wagging his tail right away. That is the best sign for a dog mom. Marcella sent photo plus her house house is in a very good location for the west Valley.”

“Phil and Lauren watched Penny for 3 days and she had a great time! They gave her puzzle toys to keep her entertained since it was too hot to play outside. She’s always happy to stay with them!”

“Such a sweet family! It takes a while for My Baby Bailey to warm up to people, but Bailey immediately adored them! For that, I know Bailey truly enjoyed staying with Alexis, Melissa & their baby! She was very attentive to him and sent me tons of photos and videos to make me feel at ease. They are such a warm loving, caring family that took such amazing care of my baby while I was away for work! I would highly recommend them!”

About: We are big animals lovers, we have one dog and cat, also we have a lot of fish. Since I was a child I was alway around pets. When I was teenager I could rescued a dog and bring home, take care of it till find new home. I'm still demanding which person I am, cat person or dog person but I love them both. I like to walk with dogs because I think walking is good exercise for everybody. I go on a quick walks every morning with my dog and sometimes my cat would follow along before I head to work. I been taking care of all my family and friends pets. They would always reach out to me and I'm always willing to accept. There is always somebody in the house to take care of our fury friends, also my teenager is always helping me. I'm available for days and overnights boarding, weekdays or weekends. We have big backyard with fence, trees and real grass and all pets we keep inside home. Please let me know if your baby has any allergies, potty schedule, health history, restrictions or special needs.
“After the first visit, Ollie became part of the family. Cedric lets Ollie hang out in his lap while working, and gives him lots of attention. Dropping him off this morning, Ollie couldn’t wait to see his new friends.”

“This was my dogs first time with a sitter, so I had some concerns. Stanislava was very nice and let us come a bit early. Her home was neat and clean and her dogs were friendly. I recived several photos throughout the day. Will use again.”

“Armando took great care of our dog, Mancha, with very little advanced notice. He was very flexible with timing and even agreed to a last minute evening meet and greet so our dog could warm up to him before spending the whole day at his place. The next morning, he was excited for his drop off at Armando’s. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our dog! We are excited to rebook in the future if need be.”

“I was in town for just the day and needed somebody to watch my dog very last minute. Almira was great and made sure both me and my dog felt comfortable during the entire process. She gave updates and was clearly very attentive with my dog. I picked up a very happy dog! Would definitely book again when I’m in town and plan to!”

“Misha is very courteous and very clean. I appreciated the fact that she worked hard to play with my pup and gave her lots of attention. I can tell that she genuinely loves animals, and my pup seemed like she really enjoyed being with Misha. I also appreciated that she followed all the care and feeding instructions and that my dog came nice and clean as when I dropped her off. She’s really tired from all the play and attention. She’s konked out on the couch now. Would highly recommend Misha, especially if your pup is an indoor dog and would appreciate good attention and cleanliness.”

“Amazing! Kindness, warmth and complete kindness and super consideration! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m so grateful. I’m a worried mom, as are others, but I was reassured and greatly respected. My puppy was so loved and cared for! I couldn’t ask for more. 100% recommendation.”

The more we care for your pets, the less likely they will ask for more pets. 🥹 Please send your love bugs here! All pets are welcome in our home. Whether your pup loves a walk in the park or prefers a calm place to rest and get extra attention, we’re happy to give them the care and companionship they deserve. 🐾 My husband works in film, so he’s often home when he’s between projects, and I work from home several days a week. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fern Ann Falls
Susan was very accommodating and gentle to my dogs. I needed to find a daycare last minute and Susan was very easy to work with and very communicative. She also sent me updates and was being very understanding with me needing to pick my dogs up later than planned. Thank you Susan for your hospitality and for taking care of Truffles & Oreo :)

Rachel and Joe are amazing!! They took care of my Lexi while our family went to Universal Studios. I felt at ease as Rachel has excellent communication and is very caring. My Lexi even made new friends with her sweet pups. I will definitely be booking with Rachel again!

Nisharys took such great care of my sweet pup, Rudy. She was accommodating with my last minute request for 2 days of doggie day care. Her and her very sweet daughter treated Rudy like the baby he is and I felt at ease knowing he was well-cared for while I was at work. If I’m in the area again, I’d book her again in a heartbeat!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
