“Sam is great! Really considerate of what your dog needs. Gives great updates! My dog is so happy! Sam is consistent and responsive. Highly recommend him for your dog!”

About: I’ve had very much experience sitting for family and friends pets throughout the past 6 years. I do also have experience working with animals through volunteering at an animal shelter for about a year and a half. As of now, I am working in a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant. I am working my way to become a registered veterinary technician! I do have a dog of my own, he is two years old so he is very energetic! I always make sure to take him on walks before I go to school or work! My grandparents do also have a dog which I will always check on and walk as well! Not only do I have my own personal pet care but I also care for pets while I’m working as a veterinary assistant. My dog does get his regular walks and playtime since he’s still a puppy. I always assure he’s well fed, has fresh water and will sometimes give him specific enrichment toys. I always assure the same goes for my grandparents dog, although she is on the older side, I care for her very well.
“Larry was amazing! Took our pup out for a solid 1+ hour walk everyday on our 2 week vacation abroad. Our dog clearly felt comfortable and happy with him. He even bought him booties because the side walk was hot!”

“Anna did an amazing job with our senior dog. She sent daily pictures and updates and It was so nice not to have to worry about anything while we were away. Thanks so much, Anna! I will be in touch for when we go out of town next. Thanks for the sweet plant and card as well. You are the best!”
“I can’t recommend Julia enough - she walked my two dogs, followed all my care instructions and sent me detailed pics, videos and descriptions about her time with them. Her communication is amazing! I’m an instant repeat client!”

About: Hello my name is Brooke! I’ve spent years caring for and training my own dog, which has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, communication, and positive reinforcement. I’m especially comfortable with larger breeds and dogs that need a little extra patience and structure. What sets me apart is my calm, confident approach and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like my own; making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure each dog gets the attention and care they deserve. I'm currently working part-time which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets and spend quality time with them. My schedule allows me to do walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during most mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I always make sure pets get the attention and consistency they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their usual routine. In my home, dogs have a calm, safe space to relax, regular walks, playtime, and lots of love. I make sure they always have fresh water, a cozy spot to rest, and plenty of attention. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their care instructions closely, from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walking routes. I always treat each home and pet with respect, keeping things clean and making sure your furry friend feels safe and cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve had animals since I was really young. I even know how to take care of horses. I started riding when I was about 5. I went to my first horse show when I was 13. Animals have always been such a big part of my life. I currently own a chi-weenie named Mateo, he’s now 11. Mateo is super sweet and smart, I’ve taught him tons of tricks. I have worked in doggy daycare and most recently a bather in Sacramento so work I have with tons of dogs on a daily basis. I may be willing to give your dog a bath for a lil extra money just ask about my prices :) Im pretty open scheduled. Am looking for work so that may change in the near future, but as of now book to your heart's desires. I make sure to communicate with my Pet parents to ensure the animals needs are cared for and ask if there anything they need done.

About: I’ve been animal-obsessed forever. I briefly planned to be a vet… until I discovered how temperatures are taken and quickly pivoted to professional pet spoiler. I’m the friend everyone calls for reliable dog sitting and cat sitting, and I treat every pet like my own (nicknames absolutely included). I have hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, and multi-pet households. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your house rules, and big on clear communication with photo and video updates so you always know your pet is safe and happy. After fostering a dozen pups, I had my first foster fail in 2014 when Stevie came home for good. He’s now my geriatric chihuahua, living his best life fueled by naps, Greenies, and prime sunbathing real estate. Your pet will get the same loving, attentive care! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible, work-from-home schedule much of the week, which allows me to give pets in my care plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about structuring my time around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and check-ins, and I always aim to keep each pet on their normal routine to minimize stress. Because I share my home with a senior chihuahua, I’m especially attuned to comfort, safety, and gentle care. Whether it’s daily walks, medication, or extra cuddle time, I build pet care into my week so every animal gets reliable, loving attention. I keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding, walk, medication, and care instructions — right down to favorite toys and nicknames. I treat every client’s home with great respect and always keep things clean and tidy. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, and I stay very attentive to your pet’s comfort, safety, and energy level. With my fostering experience and senior pet background, I’m patient, observant, and quick to flag anything that seems off. My goal is simple: you come home to a happy pet and a home exactly as you left it.
About: I’ve pet sat animals since I was 11, taking care of friends and family. I have the most experience in smaller to medium dogs, but I’ve taken brief care of a few larger dogs before. I’ve looked after a couple puppies and I can handle them, but don’t have tons of experience if that’s a need for you. I’m in the Animal Care and Training Program at Moorpark College so I am fairly adept at handling animal behavior. I am also first aid certified in the case of emergencies. I am currently on summer break and have a very flexible schedule, able to fit most client’s needs. I can drop by any time and can give your pets the attention and care they need. Once I start my fall semester my schedule will be updated and may have less flexibility. I will spend time and watch over them wherever their preferred environment is, whether it be inside or outside, I have no trouble sitting outside with your pets who love to sniff around. They can be walked as often as suggested and will be given ample potty breaks if pet sat inside.
About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I love animals probably more then people at times and I will love your fur babies as if they were my own and take great care of them! I am wide open with availability during the day in case your pets need someone with them for most of the day or if they are fine being alone for certain amount of time. Currently not working full time . I live in an apartment so I won’t be offering to take in any pets as theirs a limit of how many can be staying here. At the moment.

I’m currently a stay at home dog mom, so I will have all the time available to take care of your beloved dog. I’m available for boarding, daycare, drop in visits and walking. My home has a roomy, fenced in backyard and I have a super friendly pup at home. There is plenty of space to play, run and sniff! I do not let the dogs go outside unattended. They are always supervised to ensure safety. I’m also able to crate your dog whenever needed if that is preferred.
About: I absolutely love dogs. I will reciprocate the love and energy your dog gives me. I have my own very best friend that I have raised since he was a puppy and he means the world to me. I ensure that all gates/doors that lead to the streets are properly locked and closed.
“Steve has a genuine interest in caring for my dog and wants to learn/walk my dog however I instruct him. He showed up willing to learn or follow direction and I am now going to be using him regularly”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I believe it is crucial to ensure that a pet’s safety and happiness are always a priority. I currently have three dogs, and have experience with fostering. I have worked with lizards, hamsters, horses, and cats as well. I frequently take care of pets while friends and family are away. Additionally , I do have experience with senior pets as well and have volunteered at shelters and adoption events. I am currently working from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am also a morning person, so I am more than willing to do early morning walks! I am available all days of the week. I am very conscientious of ensuring that the client’s pet will be well taken care of, and will be routinely fed and taken out on adventures wether they be in the backyard, on walks, or even on hikes if allowed. Please shoot me a message if you are interested in any of my available services! Currently I am working from home after having graduated college recently, so I have an extremely open schedule and can accommodate for last minute bookings as well. When pet sitting in a client’s home, I will always be sure to cover the rules and expectations of care for the pet(s), as well as in regards to any rules that will be in place whilst in a client’s home. Lexi it’s the best! She has such a beautiful heart and she takes a really good care of dog Maple. She went above and beyond, she made Maple’s walks so fun. The best part about Lexi is that she updated me about Maple and his walk. I would definitely call her again to watch Maple and walk him, Maple loves her!! Great job!

Lyndsay came to walk my dog Azuki for the first time while I was visiting my mother, and I’m so grateful to have found someone trustworthy and communicative. She let me know when she was on her way and again when she arrived, which made handing Azuki off so easy. I feel confident I can count on her if I’m ever in a pinch or even if I decide to set up something long-term. :) Thanks Lyndsay!

Paula went above and beyond caring for my dogs. She took them on daily walks, gave them treats, and sent thoughtful updates with great photos. Her detailed remarks gave me total peace of mind, and it was clear my dogs were in excellent hands. She’s reliable, caring, and truly exceptional!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
