Mario was fantastic with Luna! He’s very communicative, responsible, takes tons of photos and give updates frequently. I needed someone to help me with walking Luna while I was at work and despite her being a handful, he was incredibly kind, patient, and undaunted by the task. I highly recommend him if you ever need someone to care for your fur babies.

About: Being the son of longtime dog lovers, my love for dogs was inherited. I was given a dog at the age of five to learn discipline and responsibility. Since then, I have been owning, training, and loving dogs since! I use my highly trained dogs to help encourage yours! I am a student at CSUN, but I have mostly online classes and no work at the moment, meaning my schedule is very open for the time being I have always been the leader; oldest brother, oldest cousin, oldest kid on the street. With that I learned quick that only care and patience will achieve success. I give my pets a lot of love and affection, but also allow them to love themselves

About: So many friends and neighbors wanted me to take care of their dogs when i was just a kid cause they knew that i can understand their language. I was taking care of dogs and cats just as a hobby only for people i knew, but decided i can help more pet owners and make everyone’s life easier!! I have experiences with puppies and senior care. You will be receiving really nice photos of your pups🐶 I am at home 24/7 if needed no problem with that, home is fun with a furry baby we can watch movies and cuddle!!! I know that all doggies need different care. I am very good at potty training and obedience training. I also have first aid training🤍 Please read the following before booking either of these services: Day Care means: Between 0-10 hours Boarding means: Between 10-24 hours All of the pets i take care, they are my babies too!! They are all welcome for hugs and most importantly LOVE! For summer period i am free every day and i can start working really early if my client needs. I don’t like to go for walks so late for me and my client’s safety. I have a nice fenced backyard; we mostly play there and hangout i don’t let them out unsupervised. I only walk with leash, sometimes dogs see rabbits or squirrels and chase after them. We don’t want anyone to get hurt or scared 🫶🏻

About: Hi, I'm Pam and I'd love to meet your furry family member! I've worked with animals my whole life. I've been arounds dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, birds, fish and even reptiles and have pet sat for friends and family for many years. I used to do volunteer animal photography for a local rescue. I had to get to know all the animals I was doing photos of and would help walk them occasionally to get to photo sites. In rescues, animals can be under a lot of stress and have a lot of stimulation. I learned how to read their temperaments so that I knew the best way to handle them in order to keep them and myself safe and everyone happy. I still do photography, especially of animals. So you can expect some fun pictures every time =) I currently work from home, so I can usually fit in pet care through out the day. Let me know what kind of schedule you need! About: Hi! My name is Su, and I'm based in the San Fernando Valley. I've been providing pet care for roughly 5 years. Having grown up around animals, caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I also have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just wants some company and cuddles, I'm happy to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to their needs. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. This summer, I'm available Monday through Friday at any time, with occasional weekend availability as well. I look forward to meeting you and your pets, and I can't wait to help give them the care they deserve! I've worked with children for the past 7 years, many of whom have special needs, which has helped me develop patience, reliability, and strong attention to detail. Since I'm off for the summer, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I'm available on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with occasional weekend & housesitting availability. Because of my flexible schedule, I can easily fit walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feedings, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention into my daily routine. I'll make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent as possible while you're away, so they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. My priority is creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while maintaining your pet's normal routine. I'll follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any household guidelines you provide. I treat every home with respect by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. If requested, I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a huge love for animals from a very early age—and that’s only grown with age! I love being able to provide animals with the love and happiness they need to thrive, so being a dog sitter is just a dream come true for me. I don’t think there’s anything like having a dog in our lives, so it’s always been my goal to give back to animals however I could. I also know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! I have tons of experience taking care of animals, so your dogs will be in good hands no matter what. I’ve been a long-time pet sitter, and have worked mostly with celebrity clients. I’ve always loved taking care of animals, and am now in a great position to expand my clientele! In addition to sitting, I’ve also done my fair share of rescuing, and consider it a very big part of my work and life. I have nine dogs of my own, and many of them are rescues! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. If your pup is staying with me, they’ll be welcomed into a very dog-friendly household! I live in North Hollywood in a large and spacious house. Most importantly, however, there are lots of friends to keep us company. In addition to me and my dogs, my business partner and lifelong friend Sheila will be assisting with all things care-related! She’s been with me for over 6 years and has been an amazing presence. I’m also committed to caring for your pups just as you would care for them at home, which means plenty of free space to roam around as well as never being crated (unless specifically requested). It’s just my duty to make sure your pups are as happy as can be! I work as a pet sitter full time. I will always be there for your furry family member. I will always care for them as if it’s my own. Your pet will have the run of my home, sofa and bed included. Nothing is off limits. I care for your pet like they’re my own.

About: My family has owned dogs and cats my entire life. I don’t think there has been a single day in my life where I didn’t own a pet or have responsibility for one. Including the Marines under my charge. Animals. Seriously, though… Pets love me. I am also a firm believer in following instructions to a T. People are often surprised when I ask to meet their dog, they tell me that the dog is skittish or afraid, and then the dog walks slowly up to me like they’ve known me forever and then we’re best friends. I feed my two cats, Chief and Cosmos, daily at 8am and 8pm. Cosmos requires special dietary food, so my wife and I bought chip-specific feeders for each cat. I also make sure they stay physical with my fishing rod toys, as well as ensure clean facilities for the… you know. It all comes down to showing them love, providing for them, and protecting them. I treat my two cats like they were my own kids. We don’t deserve their love if we can’t give it to them. It’s inhumane.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
