About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! Experience: senior dogs, puppies, cats, birds, or other types of pets. I am open-minded! I was laid off from my job at the end of June, so I while I am applying to full time work, I have time to take care of pets in the meantime to fill my weekly schedule! While I cannot provide pet sitting services at my own home because my dog is not friendly with other dogs (sad face), I am skilled in meeting with my where my clients are at. I love to ask questions about the pet's history, current physical state, quirks, boundaries, etc. so I don't cause unnecessary stress or issues. Depending on the pet's attitudes and boundaries, I am open to playing, walking, or just simply checking in on them. I want to try to make their environment as healthy and safe as possible, so for instance, if its too hot in the house, I'd like to verify with the owner is opening a window or using the air conditioner is okay.

About: I love cats with all my heart! I grew up with two cats, and for the past few months I’ve been fostering cats and kittens, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, from shy and nervous to playful and energetic. I know how to read cat body language, keep routines consistent, and give each cat the patience they need to feel safe while you’re away. I’m happy to send photo and video updates so you can see how your cat is doing. 🐈‍⬛💗 I’m flexible during the day, so I have plenty of time to give your cat attention and play. I’m available during the weekdays and weekends and I’m happy to do daily drop-in visits. I can send photo and video updates during every visit so you always know how your cat is doing. I treat your home with care and respect. I’ll follow your cat’s feeding, litter, and play routine exactly, keep doors and windows secured, and lock up when I leave. Fostering has taught me to read cat body language and give shy or nervous cats the patience they need. I’ll message you with updates and contact you right away if anything seems off.

About: I love animals and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I am excited to help you out and become friends with your dog(s). If you are walking or skating distance (under 5 miles), I can be available regularly AM, afternoon, & PM. Otherwise we will have to schedule 2 days in advance. Thank you! I only offer walks, and pet sitting at your home. This means I will come to your home and have a walking route planned out for your dog, refill fresh water, & food (if needed). If it's cat or cats, I will refill water and food as needed as well. I love animals and Im sure you'll see thay upon meeting the first time. I look forward to helping any way I can.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I was taught that the animals eat first because they can’t speak. I enjoy spending time with animals. They are great company I believe petting an animal can lower your blood pressure. Your pets need extra affection while you’re gone. I’m there for that. I am a retired mom of self-sufficient teenagers. My flexible schedule allows me to do overnights and weekends and multi night care. I look forward to these jobs. I’m experienced with crating. I love some dog walking exercise. I also really enjoy spending time in a backyard as long as it’s fenced in and secure.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for fourteen years. I’ve trained puppies for five years. Neighbors have relied on me to feed, play, and care overnight from one night to two weeks. I have full availability and will work full time. Services I provide are house sitting in your home, drop in visits at your home, and dog walking in your neighborhood. I have unlimited availability to care for your pet. I can do any day for any amount of hours. I can come over any time. I would secure the home and follow all pet owner instructions. I prefer pet care notes to be left to follow them. I would feed if needed and keep your pet company.

I am currently the father of 2 fur babies, a German Shepherd named Diesel and a Husky named Bella both of which I trained. About: I have done this for over 20 years ! I just lost my fur baby and I need dogy love! And I know what it takes to leave your fur baby when you go out of town! You need trust and love and bit of fun for the dogy vacation while you vacation! I struggled to leave mine when I travel now I want to offer this to you in return! I have taken care of dogs who are senior need bit of care as well to young full energy puppies for family & friends! My mom stays with me and between both of us your fur baby will have the best day or stay in our home! Please make sure they are not aggressive and house trained and easy to leave at home if needed on their own or able to ride car if need bit of adventure if needed. I offer, walking, playing, feeding, and love! I can always take them to beach or park with your permission if needed. I live in a gated community and can provide safety for fur babies!

I’ve raised a litter puppies and taken care of my family and friends fur babies, take them on walks, feed, play with them etc. I’m currently a college student and some online classes. So I will be able to cater to your pet whenever 24/7, I am available throughout the week and have a flexible schedule! I care for pets within my home, allow them sleeping inside and on the bed as well ! There is a designated room where the pets will be able to sleep and eat.
