About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of affection. I always focus on keeping dogs safe, happy, and relaxed while their owners are away, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m fully available on weekends from Friday evenings to Monday mornings and can provide consistent care, regular walks, feeding, and supervision. Great for dogs who need extra attention or routine. I’ll customize my schedule perfectly to fit your needs 🐾 I aim to create a safe, clean, and loving environment where dogs feel at home. I keep a close eye on behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I never leave dogs unattended in unsafe situations. I treat every dog with patience and respect, just like I would my own.
“Kyle is a true joy to work with. He is a top notch professional who has taken care of Randy, a very energetic 2-year old Border Collie for the past week. Kyle is punctual, courteous and a huge help to us. Randy comes home from his walk happy and tired out. Kyle is now part of our family and we look forward to many more happy times together!”
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with fur babies and at one point had four dogs at once, so caring for dogs has always been a natural and meaningful part of my life. 🐾 My experience goes beyond being a pet parent. I’ve worked part-time at a dog boarding facility while attending vet tech classes to go to Veterinary school, giving me hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, personalities, and needs. I also have experience with dog sitting, dog walking, feeding, playtime, exercise, and providing lots of love and attention. My love for animals is genuinely a part of who I am. I’ve even offered to walk my neighbors’ dogs and take them along on hikes simply because I enjoy spending time with them! My compassion for animals is also one of the reasons I chose a vegan lifestyle. Being on Rover gives me an opportunity to do something I truly love while being helpful, dependable, and trustworthy for other pet parents. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person you’re trusting with your fur baby, and I want every owner to know their pet is being cared for as if they were my own. It’s also meaningful for me personally because working with animals again brings me closer to a dream I’ve carried with me for years—returning to veterinary school and continuing my journey of caring for animals. Whether your pup needs a walking buddy, an adventure partner, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone they can feel safe and comfortable with, I’d love to be that person for them. 🐶🐾 Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’ve always structured my schedule around my own dogs’ needs. My fur babies are like my kids, so their walks, meals, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and overall well-being are priorities—not something I simply fit in when I have extra time. I would approach caring for your fur baby the same way. I’m very mindful of keeping dogs on the routine they’re already comfortable with, and I’ll plan my schedule around their needs and any instructions you provide. I’m also the pet parent who loves including my dogs in my day whenever possible! With your permission and depending on your pup’s personality and routine, I’d be happy to include them in dog-friendly activities like walks, hikes, outdoor adventures, or even a dog-friendly shopping trip. 🐾 Whether your pup loves being active and exploring or prefers a quieter, more relaxed routine, their individual needs will always come first. My goal is for them to feel loved, included, safe, and cared for while they’re with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make their fur baby feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as possible while their parent is away. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, so I’ll do my best to maintain their normal routine—including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications or special instructions, and of course plenty of love and attention. 🐾❤️ I’m very attentive and timely, and I understand that every dog is different. No request or routine is “too much” when it comes to making sure your fur baby receives the care they’re accustomed to. I’ll carefully follow any instructions provided and pay attention to their behavior, comfort level, and individual needs. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I believe communication is extremely important, so I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel comfortable knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, and being well cared for. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel like their routine hasn’t been disrupted just because you’re away. My goal is to give them dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind. 🐶
About: I’ve taken care of my sweet chihuahua for three years, but have always loved and grown up watching dogs! From Playtime to Bedtime, Boarding, drop-ins, walkies and potties. All given with the best care full time; from one pet parent for another! I’m able to walk long distances for any sweet pup with lots of energy. I love to take care of fur babies small or large. (It just means more dog to love!) I am able to follow special instructions that any pet parent would need of me. Eagerly waiting to love your fur babies! Full time for pet care in my schedule! I am looking to give my attention and care to any fur babies who need it. Day or night, they will be cared for. I have a lovely townhouse where my chihuahua stays. She is super loving, friendly, and loves having friends over to play! About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my friends, families, and neighbors growing up. I worked at a doggy daycare during the summers and home baked dog treats in my spare time. Now I find my days working from home incomplete without a furry friend! I am great with any breed, size, and energy. Excited to give you peace of mind and your pet all the care and attention they need! I currently work from home. My meetings usually happen in the mid morning / afternoon between 10 and 2pm but I have a very flexible schedule. I am very attentive to the needs of the animals I care for. Most of the pets I have taken care of have some degree of separation anxiety so I have gotten accustomed to finding ways to soothe their anxiety weather it’s putting a show on for them, pets and cuddles, or lots of playtime! If your furry friend is shy or timid, no worries! I will let them come to me and treat them with respect and patience.
About: Experience I have with doggos comes a lot from my baby Sophie. I’ve been raising her since she was a few months old all the way to today at 15 years old. I learned a lot about dogs and how to take care of them because of her. I will take care of your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits great in my schedule. I’m an independent contractor so I’m able to walk dogs then start my other job whenever I’m done with the walks or drop ins. I’m very attentive and always want to make sure the fur babies are in a nice cool environment getting treats, belly rubs, and outdoor stimulation.

About: Lifelong pet owner, currently raising two cats. I did in home visits for my neighbors dogs for many years, and am looking for more pet sitting/boarding opportunities! I’m currently unemployed so caring for pets would be my full time gig. I do leave the house twice a day to commute my partner to and from work. I have a gate that separates my apartment in half; it’s in the middle hallway that connects the bedrooms to the main living area. Should the pets need a separate space, I can provide that for them! We also have lots of cat toys/activities and treats we can provide to them.
About: I frequently pet sit for my friends and family. I genuinely miss having the companionship of a dog. I also have a small pet stroller. I am currently stay at home during the weekdays with quite a bit of free time. I love taking care of animals and playing with them. I have a big space outdoor and indoor great for running around. The backyard is also fenced. Frequent potty breaks and routine feeding schedule for your baby
“We absolutely love having Bailey as our dog walker! She’s incredibly reliable, patient, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. One of our pups can be a little more challenging, and she has always been so understanding and kind with him. One of my favorite parts is the detailed updates she sends after every walk. They’re thoughtful, funny, and always make me smile—it feels like I get to experience a little piece of their adventure together. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. I own 6 dogs already which I have trained and I’m currently training my 2 yr old dog to be a service dog. I am a full time college student who loves animals. I have 6 dogs myself, 1 which I am training to be a service dog, she is still a puppy. I used to train horses a couple years back so handling any size dog is no problem for me. I can take dogs on walks around the neighborhood throughout the week, on weekends I take my dog hiking in the hills for minimum 2 hours, if you’d like to have your dog have more exercise because they have a lot of energy let me know and I’ll gladly take them with me. I love all animals. I used to rescue small animals and I already have 6 rescue dogs. I always treat them with love, it’s important for animals to trust people and to make sure the pet is happy.

About: I have many years of experience caring for animals, growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota. I have volunteered at animal shelters, and have experience with various breeds. Familiar with toileting and feeding schedules, medication administration, and basic grooming. I want your pet to feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I am a current masters student only working part-time for the time being, looking to fill my schedule with positive pet encounters! I have plenty of free time for the rest of the summer and want to support pet parents in any way possible. I keep an open line of communication to make sure your concerns are addressed and your preferences are accounted for. Safety and comfort is a top priority, making sure your pet not only gets play time but that walks and other adventures are done with all dangers considered.
“Lovely people - patient with a potty accident that happened while I was at work and cleaned it well. Kept me posted about the upset tummy. Pet my kitty also. ☺️ very responsive”

About: I have had multiple pets from a very young age, and learning how to care for pets was a big part of my life. I specialize in high-energy breeds, but enjoy spending time with any type of animal. I work a remote job, so the entirety of my day can be focused on animals! I’m very big on consistency and reliability, so bathroom breaks and ample walking time are never things that bother me. I’d like to think the pets I’ve boarded have had a luxury experience. I am super thorough and attentive, and love spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes.
About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking for the last 20 years. I also have my own amazing dog named Batman that loves to play with other dogs. I’m always sending updates to puppy parents and staying in touch to show your pups having a blast. I love to cuddle, play with them and take them on walks. I have my own dog named Batman and we are always on the go. We love to grab pup cups, go on long walks and play with other doggies. I care for them how I would my own dog, with care and love. I’m always updating the parents and sending pictures and videos. You can reach me at all times
About: My name is Anya and I grew up with dogs, ever since I got my first lil guy on Christmas morning when I was four. I've lived with and cared for four dogs over my life, including my most recent pup, Ajax. He passed in 2022 and you can find his memorial on my profile. I miss him every day but am at peace knowing he had a GREAT life. Dana is my wife and she did not grow up a dog person. But Ajax became her boy as much as he was mine. She fell in love with him and became the most dedicated dog mom, caring for Ajax with walks and giving medicine and grooming him, as well as loving him with SO many cuddles and pets and fetch sessions. Now she points out every dog she sees. We now have a dog that we adopted together - Artemis! She is a cattle dog with the funniest and most stubborn personality and we adore her. We want your pets to feel at home with us - they're allowed on the furniture and in bed (except for cats), where they will receive so much love - or as much love as they want! We have plenty of time to dedicate to them and are comfortable with plenty of walks, playtime, bathing and brushing, giving medicine, specific food, and more. I have a flexible 4-day work week, entirely from home, meaning I have plenty of time to dedicate to pets, from walks to cuddles, playing and bathing! Dana is currently doing Rover full time. However many walks a day your pup needs or want, we can give them. We typically don't make plans for all day or night, though we'll occasionally go to the movies or out to dinner. No matter what, we know the importance of pet care, consistency, and dedication, and that is our top priority. Our flexible schedule allows us to adapt to a pet's schedule and make sure we're there for their needs and to make them as comfortable and loved as possible. We live in a two-bedroom apartment. Dogs will be allowed in every room, cats allowed in every room except the bedroom, and all pets are allowed on furniture. Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with lots of safe sidewalks and other dogs. We also have a small dog park (still plenty of room for fetch and playing!) in walking distance that is well-maintained and safe, and we love to take walks there and to the local library across the street. Both Dana and I are sensitive to a pet's need, especially after taking care of Ajax who passed from stomach cancer. Medication, bathing and grooming, diet maintenance, keeping a clean and safe home are all things we strive for and will prioritize for your pet. We have a good knowledge of food safety for pets, as well as keeping anything potentially harmful out of reach and put away. We now have another dog - Artemis, a 3-year-old cattle dog.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sherman Oaks
Vanesa was absolutely amazing with my dog. She took care of absolutely everything perfectly, EXACTLY as I asked and is a true professional and very responsible. She is extremely kind and listens to instructions very very well. Due to starting a new job and moving to a new residence simultaneously, I needed last minute help making sure my dog was walked and loved on during my long shifts and Vanesa had me totally covered! She made sure my pup was extremely well taken care of and safe as well as perfectly locking up the house and securing the gate and key in the lock box exactly as I described. She is truly excellent with animals and adds that extra special touch of going the extra mile to make the experience truly wonderful and I will absolutely be booking her many more times in the future. Thanks Vanesa!

I reached out around 8:30 at night looking for a last minute walk, and he responded right away and was able to come that same evening. He showed up on time, was really friendly, and did a great job with my anxious dog. I was a little worried since my dog has been having a hard time lately, but he was so patient with him. When they got back, my dog seemed so much happier and more relaxed. I really appreciated how responsive and reliable he was, and I would definitely book with him again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
