About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting on and off for family and friends since 2010. I love any opportunity I get to sit for them, so I figured I’d sign up here too! I work in Santa Monica Mondays-Wednesdays. Thurs-Fri I’m wfh in Burbank, and my weekends are fairly open/flexible. I love getting my steps in, so I try to walk in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings. Every pet is different, so I’m always happy to defer to the owner’s preferred routine for pet care. I like giving a dog at least three walks a day, but if you have a specific preference, or if your dog needs something in particular (dietary restrictions, vitamins, etc.), I’m happy to accommodate.

SamWise/Sam is a little skittish because he is a COVID puppy, He didn't get the type of socialization that I wanted for him to be more open with others. When Victoria arrived, yes, Sam was a bit aloof, not sure what was going on or why he was going out on a leash with someone he didn't know. I was worried how this service was going to work out for him. When Victoria and Sam got back to the house, he was a different dog! Oh My! He LOVED Victoria! About: I’ve had dogs, cats, lizards, fish and horses my whole life! I trained and raised my family’s puppy by myself, I’ve walked dogs and dog sat since I was about 15. I have a large car so I can transport large animals or multiple dogs easily. I currently work on the weekends Friday Sunday Monday from 8-4 pm on Sunday and Monday and 4-12am on Friday. I am completely free during the week to walk dogs, foster animals or do drop by visits. In my own home, I have plenty of dog toys treats and a a large living room/ indoor space for larger animals to hang out in. I live in a very walkable area and am walking distance to Griffith park.

After the recent passing of my sweet Golden Girl, Kelly (retriever, 12) I'm focusing more on things that fulfill me (like hugging dogs and my education). I have had dogs all my life and my house has always been a revolving door for fosters, pet sitting for friends and neighbors, lost dogs etc.. I have experience with everything from geriatric dogs, special needs, post-surgical, administering IV fluids, medications, and I even know doggy CPR! I have two dogs right now; Bagels and 10 year old Corgi and Freya a 7-ish year old husky/lab mix. Both are very calm and sweet and love meeting new friends. I have a pretty decently sized yard that the dogs have full access too (including the house), if you'd like to leave your fur baby with me. I can also do drop-ins for walks, pats, playing and feeding. I would love to hear about you and your dog and possibly schedule a meet and greet before we schedule drop-ins or home stays. I can accommodate almost anything including ramps for older pups.

It’s hard for me to trust most people with my dog and he doesn’t take to everyone but Kate made the experience much less nerve wracking. She was very communicative and sent photos soon after the walk, which helped with my nerves. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
