If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet just like you do, look no further. Tapping into the needs and emotions of animals is my innate talent. I am a lifelong animal lover and carer who was raised to believe animals deserve the utmost respect. I have experience with every size dog— from toy Yorkies to Great Danes. I have no issue with “intimidating” breeds such as Pitbulls or German Shepherds. I know behind the muscle are sweet, loving dogs. At the age of 10 I first began pet sitting. I spent my high school afternoons volunteering at the local animal shelter. Over the years, many friends and acquaintances have trusted me to care for their pets. Additionally, I have over 3 years experience house sitting with senior dogs who need extra support. I’m happy to help your baby up stairs, take extra walks for differently-paced animals, or whatever accommodations are needed. Each pet has his or her personal needs and it’s my honor to help them. My babies are my 5 year old Calico rescue, Ruby, and my inherited Madagascar Day Gecko, Endora.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and needs are the utmost importance. All pet parent’s requests (walking, feeding times, medications, etc.) will be honored. During overnight stays, outside doors will remain locked unless currently in use. No unauthorized people will be allowed in the house. No personal guests. Pets will never be abandoned or ignored. More about Lane: I have been living in Los Angeles since 2012, and have a BFA in writing. I love being outdoors— I’m happiest when surrounded by trees. I love plants, and own too many. I love backpacking in our beautiful Californian backcountry. Most nights at home you’ll find me curled up with my cat watching something spooky. Lane is great and my kitties loved her! She was super responsive while we were away and made sure to send lots of updates on how the kitties were doing. I appreciated her communication, attention to detail, and affection towards my sweet kitties!

Lane was absolutely amazing and all 4 of our animals love her!! She stayed on top of 4 different feeding schedules, a bunch of medications (including eye drops, pills, and even a cat inhaler), and navigating our unique kitchen rules. The animals all warmed to her so quickly, even our shyer cats who came running up to her by the end of her stay. She sent the best updates with such cute pictures and all the important details which helped put my anxious pet mom self at ease. It made our trip so much better knowing our pets were being taken care of by someone who cares just as much as us. Already booking our next house sitting stay with her!
So responsive and great pictures of my pup! It was great knowing he was taken care of while I was gone. He was super happy when I got home, which made me super happy.

Schedule
I am currently at capacity for daily walks, but I still offer check-ins as well as house sitting. I am available week days as well as weekends to care for your beloved pets!
