About: Hi, I’m Madi! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 14, from growing up with dogs and sharing my home with cats, to caring for larger animals and helping strays in a rural community. I have cared for dogs aged 2 to 15 and adult cats. I understand that pets are family, and I provide patient, reliable, and compassionate care to help your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, companionship, feeding, or playtime, I’m here to give them the care and kindness they deserve! My schedule is fairly flexible and I am able to prioritize pet care, walking or check-ins before and after work. As well as being able to stay with your pet on days off. I care for all pets like they are my own, I prefer a set of instructions so your pet has a smooth transition from your care to mine. I make sure to keep all pets occupied with playtime, walks, and lots of love that is specific to them.
About: I’ve taken care of many family cats and dogs of all breeds and am able to understand each pet and their needs in order to make sure they’re happy and healthy! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets from walking dogs, to making sure they’re fed and to keep up with any routine that they follow. As a Rover pet sitter, I provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, I ensure a safe, comfortable environment, following their routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. In a client’s home, I maintain their usual schedule, offer companionship, and keep their space clean. I also provide updates and can assist with small tasks like mail or plants.
“Jacqueline is the best! She is so gentle and caring with my dog, I feel comfortable having my husky in her hands. Jacqueline is punctual and keeps you updated along the way!!”

About: German shepherds have been living with my family for decades. Loyal dogs to whom I'm grateful. Meeting new friends is fun, and opportunities to walk together are welcome. I'm currently in study mode. Got a certificate after months of work. To get out and meet new pets and people sounds good. I'm taking online classess, and spending some time to look for work in my field. Which are low-voltage & networking. So going for walks is a welcome activity. I used to live in a country-side house. The dogs would mostly take care of themselves. Except for the feeding, grooming, cleaning parts. I like meeting new friends, and I would inquire about the pets' preferences; the owners' too.
“Tasha is seriously the best! So communicative, kind, and I feel so reassured and blessed to have her take care of my Kimchi fur baby. Thank you for all you do, Tasha! I am so thankful. Highly recommended!!”

“Victoria had great communication throughout the entire booking and meet up process, she was even able to accommodate last minute date additions based on her availability. I had updates for Maya and Ollie after every walk which placed my mind at ease. I will definitely be requesting her again as the need for a walker arises.”

About: I've taken care of neighbors, friends and family dogs for years of all ages and sizes since I was a kid. Everywhere from our own great dane, to fostering puppies, and more cats than I can count! I love getting to take care of them equally. *I took a long hiatus from this app after moving to Los Angeles, if you have any concerns or questions just message me!* I currently work as a server with a flexible schedule! I typically work late afternoon-night but never for too long, and as long I get a little advance notice I can usually move things around! I'll take your dogs for lots of walks, to play at the park, keep them entertained and fed and make sure they have plenty of chances to potty outside. Can give baths, any necessary medication, and take care of any special needs your pet may have.
About: Hi!👋🏼 I grew up with a 190lb Blue Dane and puddles of slobber that left no feet dry. 😆 The Labradors were more forgiving. Since, I’ve been a cat mom then dog mom most of my life - 1 flat-coated retriever and 2 tiny puppers. RIP I currently work from home which allows me the flexibility to help out. And I love being outdoors, so walks are easily a win win! I no longer have any pets in the house (RIP Kali, Chloe, Eli💕) - I’d be thrilled to help care for pets of all ages.
“Madeline was great with Oso! I know he appreciated her long thorough walks and she could handle his excitement every time she came over. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Michelle we were so lucky to find you! Michelle was attentive, responsive, flexible, kind and so fun! She cared for my baby like her own. I will be contacting her any time I need help with dog care in the Los Angeles area. I would recommend her to everyone!”

About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are huge dog lovers. We share our home with our sweet 20 lb Chihuahua, Bambi. She’s very friendly and great at matching other dogs’ energy - if your dog loves to play, she’ll happily play along, and if your dog prefers more space, she respects that too. She reads the room very well. I run my own design studio, so I’m home most of the time and can give dogs lots of attention throughout the day. We also have a cozy, clean, fully fenced backyard with a tree where dogs can safely potty, play, and enjoy sunbathing. I love working outside in the backyard and spending time outdoors with the dogs. We’d love to connect with more Burbank neighbors and take great care of your pup while you’re away. I run my own design studio from home, so I’m around most of the day and can give dogs lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day and evenings. We have a clean, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely potty, play, and relax. For boarding stays, please make sure your dog is friendly with other dogs, as we have one dog of our own at home. Thank you!
About: I’ve always been a big animal lover ever since childhood ! I have experience taking care of my past Boxer dog Scooby for 2 years I’m currently on winter break from University so my availability is mostly open. I do work two other jobs but they’re usually evening shifts or on the weekend so I should be free all mornings Monday-Thursday! I’m a patient person and understand that each animal will need their own type of care. My dog Scooby had a lot of energy so we would go on 3 walks daily with playtime in the fenced yard and some rough housing when he felt like boxing.

Kendi has become our regular and trusted dogwalker for our doggos while we toil in the office. We’re so grateful to have found a flexible, patient, and experienced dogwalker who has helped us out last minute with walks, transportation to the groomer, and while my mobility-limited dad was dogsitting. 5 stars for sure.

Tauri is a gem! She recently looked after my two large dogs and my cats, and she did an amazing job. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure your pets feel safe and completely loved. She responds quickly to messages and gave me wonderful photo updates throughout the walks, and it was so clear the pups were incredibly content. From managing evening feedings and dog medication to giving them endless love, attention, and sweet cuddles, she handles it all with ease. She is reliable, professional, and has a natural gift with animals. 5 stars all the way!

Elena was amazing with Mowgli! She was communicative, professional, flexible with timing, and had such a warm, calm demeanor that instantly made both of us feel comfortable. Mowgli absolutely loved her, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker 🐾

Spencer is incredible! He’s been walking my dog Buffalo, and I couldn't be happier. He’s extremely punctual and has fast communication, which makes scheduling a breeze. It’s so reassuring that he owns the same breed; he truly understands their energy levels and how to handle them on a leash. He’s a total natural, and Buffalo always comes back happy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
