About: Caring for pets was one of the first responsibilities I ever learned. Whether it’s been on the east coast or west coast, I’ve always been known as the reliable pet uncle amongst friends and family. My current full-time role is remote with limited meetings to attend, which gives me most days and hours of the week. Tuesdays and Wednesday are the most challenging in the morning, but beyond that it’s smooth-sailing. My current living situation is with a pair of cats and when needed I feed them twice a day, clean out their litter, and play with them whenever they have the zoomies. I have been available day/night whenever called upon and even for weeks at a time.
About: Hi, my name is Salena. I love all pets with dogs being my favorite. I've been working for Wag! since 2017 and starting to stretch my wings to Rover. I am studying to be an Veterinary Technician while currently working at an animal hospital in Glendale as a room tech and Kennel Attendant. I've been known as an animal whisperer ever since I was little because I always brought strays and lost animals home to care for them and to reunite them with the owners. So, I have always been inspired to continue taking care of animals as my dream career choice. So I hope I can help you out by giving you a peace of mind that your FurBaby is in good hands I currently work part-time and going to school full-time online so I am available for your FurBaby when they need me. Monday through Friday's go head and message me and we can talk about a pickup and drop off time that suits us both. Saturday I can do pickups and drop offs after 3pm and Sundays anytime. I have a fenced-in backyard and my apartment is a two bedroom so it's a good size for ZOOMIES. Kitchen and bathroom are blocked off for protection. I also have two friendly dogs myself that can keep your pup company. Yui is 5, spayed, up to date on all shots, and has a calm and cuddly nature. Axel is 6months, neutered, up to date on all shots, and is a playful puppy nature. Axel is in training process so is still being crated at night, Yui is fully trained and roams the house freely. If your pup is crate trained I will need it's crate to continue your training.
“Victoria had great communication throughout the entire booking and meet up process, she was even able to accommodate last minute date additions based on her availability. I had updates for Maya and Ollie after every walk which placed my mind at ease. I will definitely be requesting her again as the need for a walker arises.”

“Carolyn was great to work with! Always on time and great with communication! how to minor Hip injury and she was able to come last minute and walk my dog every day for a week with no issues. Would hire her again…great with dogs! Thanks Carolyn!”

“Sarah took great care of my dog and cat - it's so nice to be able to go away and know that they will be fine. I also appreciated Sarah's kind patience with a last-minute change of plans. Many thanks!”

“Jacqueline is the best! She is so gentle and caring with my dog, I feel comfortable having my husky in her hands. Jacqueline is punctual and keeps you updated along the way!!”

“Meredith has been a great help, she and her daughter are very kind and friendly and Louie was always happy to see her. She also gave me very useful care tips. Would definitely re-book and I highly recommend Meredith to others.”

About: Hi, I’m Madi! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 14, from growing up with dogs and sharing my home with cats, to caring for larger animals and helping strays in a rural community. I have cared for dogs aged 2 to 15 and adult cats. I understand that pets are family, and I provide patient, reliable, and compassionate care to help your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, companionship, feeding, or playtime, I’m here to give them the care and kindness they deserve! My schedule is fairly flexible, though I did recently start a new job, I prioritize pet care, walking or check-ins before and after work. As well as being able to stay with your pet on days off. I care for all pets like they are my own, I prefer a set of instructions so your pet has a smooth transition from your care to mine. I make sure to keep all pets occupied with playtime, walks, and lots of love that is specific to them.
“Corey has been wonderful with my Shiba, Maple. She can be very difficult with new people but Corey had no trouble at all getting her into her harness, out on walks, and taken well care of. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

About: German shepherds have been living with my family for decades. Loyal dogs to whom I'm grateful. Meeting new friends is fun, and opportunities to walk together are welcome. I'm currently in study mode. Got a certificate after months of work. To get out and meet new pets and people sounds good. I'm taking online classess, and spending some time to look for work in my field. Which are low-voltage & networking. So going for walks is a welcome activity. I used to live in a country-side house. The dogs would mostly take care of themselves. Except for the feeding, grooming, cleaning parts. I like meeting new friends, and I would inquire about the pets' preferences; the owners' too.
“John was extremely good with the dogs, very knowledgeable on handling them. Communication was excellent and John was very flexible with walking them. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.”

About: From working at the animal shelter, to returning a lost dog home, I love helping creatures big and small. I’ve always had the drive to make the lives, of people and animals alike, better through offering my time, knowledge, experience and a helping hand. In the summer of 2024 I had the opportunity to work alongside trained professionals at the animal shelter and witness the consideration and care that goes into animal care-taking. I was able to also work with smaller kittens, bunnies, alongside dogs from an assortment of sizes and breeds. From 2018-2023 my grandmother lived with my family; we were the caregivers. Especially during covid, I stepped up to help with more responsibilities concerning my grandmother. I learned so much patience and also so much about what a blessing it is to have the ability to care for others. I so deeply appreciate the opportunities I have to share a little bit of life with creatures of every kind:) I currently have no job, however I am applying for part-time positions. Along with that I do pursue performing arts so I set aside time for that accordingly. Having 4 dogs and a cat at home only supports my motivation to care for more animals. I have a lot of availability through the summer and possibly the fall. Weekly it varies but I will communicate any and all time changes. I have 4 dogs that are all friendly, and I’d keep them separate from any of your fur-babies just to ensure a smooth time. Our cat has yet to interact with another cat, but she seldom approaches the dogs. We are well equipped with dry food and doggie supplies. If any dietary restrictions are necessary I will adhere. When in the house of a client, I always ask lots of questions and make a shared notes tab. I will also make a group chat if desired by the client. I tend to tidy up the environment given, and if there are desires to keep things completely unchanged I have no problem with that.
“Arrived on time, very good communication before and after. She gave Barkerini lots of exercise and he loves her. We're very happy with Madeline and will definitely use her again.”

“Michelle we were so lucky to find you! Michelle was attentive, responsive, flexible, kind and so fun! She cared for my baby like her own. I will be contacting her any time I need help with dog care in the Los Angeles area. I would recommend her to everyone!”

“Marcus is a great dog walker! He is capable of controlling a big and rambunctious pup, and he takes long walks to make sure my dog gets enough exercise. Very reliable and good communication!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Burbank
Kendi has become our regular and trusted dogwalker for our doggos while we toil in the office. We’re so grateful to have found a flexible, patient, and experienced dogwalker who has helped us out last minute with walks, transportation to the groomer, and while my mobility-limited dad was dogsitting. 5 stars for sure.

Tauri is a gem! She recently looked after my two large dogs and my cats, and she did an amazing job. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure your pets feel safe and completely loved. She responds quickly to messages and gave me wonderful photo updates throughout the walks, and it was so clear the pups were incredibly content. From managing evening feedings and dog medication to giving them endless love, attention, and sweet cuddles, she handles it all with ease. She is reliable, professional, and has a natural gift with animals. 5 stars all the way!

Elena was amazing with Mowgli! She was communicative, professional, flexible with timing, and had such a warm, calm demeanor that instantly made both of us feel comfortable. Mowgli absolutely loved her, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker 🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
