“Michelle and Elizabeth are the best! They have been so great with my pup Simba. Super reliable, communicative, prompt, friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you both so much and happy holidays!”

About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.
About: Since I was a kid I’ve always been one of the predominant caretakers of our senior and young pups giving ample experience in puppy and senior dog care. I’m currently in my summer break from college meaning that I’ll have plenty of free time to walk, play, and take care of any of your pets! I additionally have 5 pets at home myself meaning I’m more than used to taking care of various pet types with different needs. Whenever walking or playing with a dog I prioritize making sure the dog has a proper walking pace based on their energy level! I’ve taken care of many different dogs before and each one walks and plays at a different pace so making sure to pay attention to that is important.
About: Hello! My name is Noemi and I'm a passionate pet caretaker with professional experience! I worked as a kennel attendant at a luxury pet hotel/daycare called the Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa, and also worked as a veterinary assistant at La Cañada Pet Clinic. I have 2 years of experience with overnight pet sitting. I'm a student and will be completing my last semester at Cal State Long Beach this fall 2026 as a marine biology major! I’m a huge animal lover and grew up around dogs and cats, and even had a few reptiles. I have a black Labrador mix named Chloe and a tuxedo kitty named Mici 🐾 I would be happy to provide loving care for your furry family member! 💗 I’m currently fully available for the summer while I’m in town, but will have limited weekend availability starting mid August for the upcoming fall semester. I will follow all instructions for caring for your pets in your home. I will give frequent updates and will immediately contact you with any questions or concerns. I will do everything to make your pet comfortable, and will respect your space.

About: I've taken care of various kinds of dogs for over ten years. My family has always owned large dog breeds, and I have done sitting for medium, small-sized dogs, and puppies. I have experience walking dogs up to 140 pounds, and I also own two cats and a dog of my own currently. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to help out with your pets! I'm available on weekdays and weekends, and am comfortable with mornings and evenings. I have a reliable source of transportation to reach your destination on time. I'm comfortable taking your dog on walks, playing in the yard with toys, or staying in and cuddling on the couch!
About: I’ve been petsitting for 12+ years and fostering animals for 8+ years! I have taken care of many dogs under age 1 as well as senior dogs. I also have experience fostering kittens (as young as 2 weeks old) and cats! I am fluent in both Korean and English! Also, one of my family members is a veterinary assistant :) My home is condominium, and the floor is hardwood. I have a small patio area inside my house. I also have a small grass area for the residents — it’s located outside my house but inside the condominium complex. Pets are always welcome to sleep on bed or relax on our furniture! Usually, we take the pets out for potty breaks 4 times a day—first one in the morning, second one around noon, third one in the afternoon, and last one at night, right before bed. We also use the small patio area for potties if they need to potty more frequently. I take them on walks in the afternoon! For cats, I clean the litter box as soon as I see that they used it. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!
About: I have 6 years experience caring for dogs. Dog walking and boarding have been my main activities. Im always learning and working on improving my dog care skills and knowledge. I have taken care of a variety of dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages. I care deeply about animals and all living things. The majority of my experience is with dogs however I also have limited experience with cats and horses as well. I am a very compassionate, accepting person, and I appreciate honest and respectful communication as well as I try my absolute best to provide this to all of my pet care clients. I am a musician currently working from home. So I spend most of my days at home which is why I am able to care for dogs during my work from home :) Please reach out with any questions at all! I am happy to discuss the details of your booking prior to the booking confirmation. currently I am in Tujunga, California living with my partner Rhiannon, she is very good with animals and has had dogs her whole life. She will be around to help with caretaking for the next few months. We live with our small dog Roehn who you can see in the pictures. She is our adored companion! California Clients: My residence is on Hillrose St. and I am fully prepared to start taking clients here. For outside dogs the dogs need to be larger dogs. The reason for "outisde larger dogs only" is because I am right up against the foothills and frequently get coyote visitors strolling down the street, so it would be most safe if your dog is big enough to not be a target for coyotes. Our neighbor who lives behind us has a average size german shepherd who lives completely outside in their fenced in yard and the coyotes steer clear of him. But for my small dog Roehn, I never let her outside without keeping an extremely, EXTREMELY close eye on her as she is small and too susceptible to coyotes and other predators. Rest assured, I am so so so careful with any dog that is entrusted to me. We do not let any small dogs outside unattended, never! All that being said, my yard is completely fenced in so no worries there. New Mexico Clients: I am no longer living in New Mexico! So sad because I had so many wonderful clients there and I miss them all dearly. I will of course update my profile if I ever go back but as of right now I have no plans to return. Much love to all my wonderful former clients there.
About: My 1st love was Bella, a sweet red-nosed pit bull that stole me heart. Then, a mini pin I named Cajun pranced into my life showing me unconditional love. I have an exceptional ability to connect and understand an animals needs. I am trustworthy, reliable and honest. Rest assured I am the best dog/cat mommy there is! I will care, love and support your fur baby as if it was my own. I am also mobile to go to the dog parks and overnight stays. I can be available for house sitting needs as well. There are local veterinarians close by. Feel free to inquire with questions or special requests. Available weekend days and nights and weekday evenings. Thank you for visiting my profile. I look forward to working with you soon! :) Please note: For the 1st meet & greet I will have a companion for safety.
“Sean is absolutely fantastic with my two borzois, Spartacus and Diego! From the very first walk, he showed a calm confidence and genuine care that immediately put both dogs—and me—at ease. Borzois can be a bit particular, but Sean handles them with patience, professionalism, and a great sense of humor. He’s always punctual, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure the boys get a full, enriching walk every time. I’ve noticed how excited they get when he arrives, which says it all. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in such good hands. Highly recommend Sean to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

About: I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals and began volunteering at human societies since age 10. Since then I have cared for my own pets, including my current dog, an elderly chihuahua with no teeth and health issues who requires medication and special care daily. I am experienced with elderly animals who have special needs as well as energetic puppies. I have cared for 6 pound chihuahuas as well as 75 pound Rottweilers. I love going for runs or long hikes with pets or just relaxing in the sun together or even taking trips to the dog park. I know how important it is to want the best care for your pet and I believe I can provide that special care and attention.
“Harvey loved, Kristine. He got a great long walk. Kristine was also wonderfully accommodating as we had to deal with a power outage in our home and reschedule. Harvey has been trying to adapt to the new home and Kristine helped! Thank you!!”

About: From working at the animal shelter, to returning a lost dog home, I love helping creatures big and small. I’ve always had the drive to make the lives, of people and animals alike, better through offering my time, knowledge, experience and a helping hand. In the summer of 2024 I had the opportunity to work alongside trained professionals at the animal shelter and witness the consideration and care that goes into animal care-taking. I was able to also work with smaller kittens, bunnies, alongside dogs from an assortment of sizes and breeds. From 2018-2023 my grandmother lived with my family; we were the caregivers. Especially during covid, I stepped up to help with more responsibilities concerning my grandmother. I learned so much patience and also so much about what a blessing it is to have the ability to care for others. I so deeply appreciate the opportunities I have to share a little bit of life with creatures of every kind:) I currently have no job, however I am applying for part-time positions. Along with that I do pursue performing arts so I set aside time for that accordingly. Having 4 dogs and a cat at home only supports my motivation to care for more animals. I have a lot of availability through the summer and possibly the fall. Weekly it varies but I will communicate any and all time changes. I have 4 dogs that are all friendly, and I’d keep them separate from any of your fur-babies just to ensure a smooth time. Our cat has yet to interact with another cat, but she seldom approaches the dogs. We are well equipped with dry food and doggie supplies. If any dietary restrictions are necessary I will adhere. When in the house of a client, I always ask lots of questions and make a shared notes tab. I will also make a group chat if desired by the client. I tend to tidy up the environment given, and if there are desires to keep things completely unchanged I have no problem with that.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
