“I would give a ten star review if I could. Fantastic family, so caring and compassionate towards animals, especially my old dog, Lady. She has never been left with a sitter before. When I checked around too many places offered to keep her in a crate but she has never been crated before so we did not want that. With this family she had the run of the house and yard and slept on their bed at night which she does at home. My only fear was that at the end of her stay she would not want to leave. But she was glad to come home and during my trip I had peace of mind and no worries that she was in good hands. Highly recommend this family to take care of your dog. I will when I travel again!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. They’re my favorite animals. :) I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another so I learned from an early age how to care for kitties. I’ve nursed kittens from bottles, taken care of adult cats, and have given medication to senior cats. My current 19-year old Maine Coon kitty has diabetes, so I give him insulin twice a day. I can give your kitties shots if needed as well as any food-based medications, creams, etc. I’m a bit of cat whisperer, too, so I love getting to care for kitties of all types!

About: Many years ago the ‘Dog Whisperer’ came into my life through personal training. Cesar Milan taught me how to successfully train my aggressive dog with a few behavioral changes and lots of exercise. I was blessed to take my dog to Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center (DPC) more than once. I learned so much working with Cesar and spending time with his dogs. Now I apply those same techniques to all the Rover dogs. The importance of disciplinary exercise has changed many of my clients’ dogs through multiple daily walks. Your dog will receive the same training Cesar provides while staying in my doggy day care and on our walks. He always said “a tired dog can’t misbehave” and it’s very true! I’ve been personally training celebrities like Cesar and his wife for 15+ years. My schedule is very flexible while accommodating clients 2-3 days a week. About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

The reason for "outisde larger dogs only" is because I am right up against the foothills and frequently get coyote visitors strolling down the street, so it would be most safe if your dog is big enough to not be a target for coyotes. Our neighbor who lives behind us has a average size german shepherd who lives completely outside in their fenced in yard and the coyotes steer clear of him. But for my small dog Roehn, I never let her outside without keeping an extremely, EXTREMELY close eye on her as she is small and too susceptible to coyotes and other predators. Rest assured, I am so so so careful with any dog that is entrusted to me. We do not let any small dogs outside unattended, never! All that being said, my yard is completely fenced in so no worries there. New Mexico Clients: I am no longer living in New Mexico! So sad because I had so many wonderful clients there and I miss them all dearly. I will of course update my profile if I ever go back but as of right now I have no plans to return. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. We appreciated how they made sure that Georgie was holding his own and doing well with their bigger dog. They were very attentive to Georgie’s needs and unique personality! Georgie returned to us happy, healthy, and in good spirits which tells us he had a good experience and was in good hands. Also, Alejandro and Christine are lovely people and she even made us a sweet Christmas ornament with Georgie‘s picture in it and sent us off with a bag of Christmas cookies! They are just really really warm and sweet people— and that comes across on how they took care of Georgie. We will absolutely book them again in the future to take care of Georgie! All right, done”
“Cindy and Hans were absolutely incredible with our dog, Cooper. From the moment we picked him up, it was clear he had completely fallen head over heels for Cindy… he followed her everywhere like her little shadow! It honestly warmed my heart to see how comfortable and happy he was with them. They treated Cooper like he was their own, and it showed in every way. When it was time to go home, I swear he looked a little sad to leave because he loved being with Cindy and Hans so much! As a dog parent, there is nothing better than knowing your pup is not just cared for, but truly loved while you’re away. We feel so lucky to have found Cindy and Hans.
