About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. They’re my favorite animals. :) I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another so I learned from an early age how to care for kitties. I’ve nursed kittens from bottles, taken care of adult cats, and have given medication to senior cats. My current 19-year old Maine Coon kitty has diabetes, so I give him insulin twice a day. I can give your kitties shots if needed as well as any food-based medications, creams, etc. I’m a bit of cat whisperer, too, so I love getting to care for kitties of all types!

About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

The reason for "outisde larger dogs only" is because I am right up against the foothills and frequently get coyote visitors strolling down the street, so it would be most safe if your dog is big enough to not be a target for coyotes. Our neighbor who lives behind us has a average size german shepherd who lives completely outside in their fenced in yard and the coyotes steer clear of him. But for my small dog Roehn, I never let her outside without keeping an extremely, EXTREMELY close eye on her as she is small and too susceptible to coyotes and other predators. Rest assured, I am so so so careful with any dog that is entrusted to me. We do not let any small dogs outside unattended, never! All that being said, my yard is completely fenced in so no worries there. New Mexico Clients: I am no longer living in New Mexico! So sad because I had so many wonderful clients there and I miss them all dearly. I will of course update my profile if I ever go back but as of right now I have no plans to return. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. Usually, we take the pets out for potty breaks 4 times a day—first one in the morning, second one around noon, third one in the afternoon, and last one at night, right before bed. We also use the small patio area for potties if they need to potty more frequently. I take them on walks in the afternoon! For cats, I clean the litter box as soon as I see that they used it. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!
