When I checked around too many places offered to keep her in a crate but she has never been crated before so we did not want that. With this family she had the run of the house and yard and slept on their bed at night which she does at home. My only fear was that at the end of her stay she would not want to leave. But she was glad to come home and during my trip I had peace of mind and no worries that she was in good hands. Highly recommend this family to take care of your dog. I will when I travel again!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. They’re my favorite animals. :) I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another so I learned from an early age how to care for kitties. I’ve nursed kittens from bottles, taken care of adult cats, and have given medication to senior cats. My current 19-year old Maine Coon kitty has diabetes, so I give him insulin twice a day. I can give your kitties shots if needed as well as any food-based medications, creams, etc. I’m a bit of cat whisperer, too, so I love getting to care for kitties of all types!

About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

About: I grew up with two dogs and have been surrounded by animals all of my life. I volunteer at the Humane Society by taking dogs on walks, training them, and assisting in creating engaging games for them. The reason for "outisde larger dogs only" is because I am right up against the foothills and frequently get coyote visitors strolling down the street, so it would be most safe if your dog is big enough to not be a target for coyotes. Our neighbor who lives behind us has a average size german shepherd who lives completely outside in their fenced in yard and the coyotes steer clear of him. But for my small dog Roehn, I never let her outside without keeping an extremely, EXTREMELY close eye on her as she is small and too susceptible to coyotes and other predators. Rest assured, I am so so so careful with any dog that is entrusted to me. We do not let any small dogs outside unattended, never! All that being said, my yard is completely fenced in so no worries there. New Mexico Clients: I am no longer living in New Mexico! So sad because I had so many wonderful clients there and I miss them all dearly. I will of course update my profile if I ever go back but as of right now I have no plans to return. We also use the small patio area for potties if they need to potty more frequently. I take them on walks in the afternoon! For cats, I clean the litter box as soon as I see that they used it. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!

It honestly warmed my heart to see how comfortable and happy he was with them. They treated Cooper like he was their own, and it showed in every way. When it was time to go home, I swear he looked a little sad to leave because he loved being with Cindy and Hans so much! As a dog parent, there is nothing better than knowing your pup is not just cared for, but truly loved while you’re away. We feel so lucky to have found Cindy and Hans. Her husband gave Henry special attention at night because Henry did not want to be in a separate room at night so he slept in same room as Henry. Jane has a yard that Henry enjoyed with her dog. Jane and her husband were sweet and we did a meet and greet before drop off. Jane was able to take care of Henry's special diet restrictions. I would use Jane again:)”
