Alina is fantastic with my pup Emma! Alina is great with communication before, during, and after the walk and really took the time to get to know my dog during the meet and greet. Emma is already looking forward to the next time she and Alina can go for a walk!

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Tamar as our new dog walker! It was my first time using Rover, as my pup Lainey is quite shy at first, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, Tamar immediately put her at ease with her patience and kindness. By the end of their first walk, Lainey had found a new best friend. It’s so rare for Laines to get comfy so quickly! We had fantastic communication from the start, which put me at ease as well. Tamar is a reliable, friendly, thoughtful, and overall fantastic person to have taking care of any pet! I’m so glad Lainey is so happy when they’re hanging out, and I have someone trustworthy I can turn to when I need extra help.

I would HIGHLY recommend Neha as a dog walker. She is trustworthy, professional, respectful, and understanding. I was away from home and my original dog walker was not able to take my dogs out as planned. So I was scrambling to find a replacement. Of course the anxiety of having someone inside my house that I’ve never met in person was a tiny nerve wracking. But Neha made the whole process very comfortable AND it was almost midnight and she STILL went because she knew the situation and did not want my dogs to not have been walked. My dogs do not go poo or pee inside the apartment so they were really excited when they seen her!!!

About: Trust your beloved pets to a mature, responsible adult. I enjoy a loyal following of repeat clientele because my clients understand that I can be trusted both with their beloved pets and with their homes. We can board up to two dogs at one time, but they must be from the same family home. I am a successful small business owner and I work out of my home. I live within convenient probity proximity to downtown Glendale and the 134 freeway. Each visiting dog may arrive with a bed, blanket, toys or anything else you think necessary for them to enjoy a sense of stability and security. If requested, we're happy to send updates, pictures and videos to assure you that all is well with your pet. Being away from a home can be a stressful situation for any pet, and we do our best to keep your pet calm and comfortable during their stay.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, former veterinary assistant, and experienced Rover sitter with a 5-star rating. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, and other small animals throughout my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with both your pet and your home. I provide calm, attentive, individualized care based on each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and comfort. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter-box care, basic medication, senior pets, and pets that need a little extra patience while getting acquainted. As an artist who works from home, I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate weekday walks, drop-in visits, and occasional last-minute requests. Every visit includes thoughtful updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention. I’m happy to arrange a complimentary meet-and-greet before the first booking to learn about your pet’s routine, preferences, behavior, and care instructions. I’m a professional artist who works from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care throughout the week. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks and drop-in visits, including daytime appointments. Because I manage my own schedule, I can often accommodate recurring visits and occasional last-minute requests while giving each pet dependable, unrushed attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with their safety, comfort, and well-being as my highest priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and household routines, while keeping doors, gates, leashes, and pet areas secure. I take time to build trust, respect each pet’s individual personality, and watch closely for changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or signs of stress. I provide gentle, attentive care and communicate openly with owners through detailed updates and photos. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

About: New sitter special! ✨🐾💕 Intro rate for my first clients - rates go up soon, so book now while it lasts! Fair Warning: my house may cause your dog to smile more than usual. 🙂‍↔️🐾 From excisable young pups to mellow senior sweethearts, I have tons of experience training smart breed dogs and caring for every kind of personality. My own dog is an almost-3-year-old Shepardor who’s friendly with everyone and would have a blast playing with your fur baby! A lot of my clients tell me their dogs come home more relaxed and better behaved after just a few days with me. I enjoy weaving in a little training while I care for them, because a mentally stimulated dog is a happy and calm dog. I can’t wait to meet you and your sweet angel(s)! I work remotely from home and can play in between calls and take your pet on walks frequently. They’ll have lots of toys to play with and comfy places to sleep throughout my home. I had dogs growing up and my very own husky for 10 years. I supervise play time and I leash train on walks. Water bowls are always full and I have learned how to safely deal with aggressive dogs. Communication is key, so just learning what your dog’s likes, dislikes, triggers, etc. are will set them up for success!

About: I'm a dependable and caring dog walker with hands-on experience raising and handling my own 70 pound, high-energy Sheepdog, Snoopy. Prior to Snoopy, I had a 60 pound Labrador Terrier Mix. I understand that energetic dogs need exercise, patience, structure, and plenty of attention. I'm available for weekday walks while my kids are at school and would love to help give your dog a safe, enjoyable break during the day. I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep you updated, and treat your doggy like famil. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and looking to go back to school part-time. My availability is pretty flexible so I am able to accomadate your pups needs. I enjoy the outdoors and dogs very much so with dog walking I get the best of both worlds. I prefer not to have headphones on while taking out pets so that I can be present and very aware of my surroundings. Your pup will have my complete attention!

About: I adopted my first own dog in 2012 and cared for him until he passed of old age in 2024. He was a half English half American bulldog. Now I have a French bulldog, an 8‑year‑old cat and a guinea pig. I understand dog and cat behavior and routines really well. Friends and family have trusted me for years to feed, walk, and give meds to their pets and I treat every pet like part of my family. I understand the true purpose of walks for dogs and always let them take their time sniffing and exploring so they feel mentally stimulated and relaxed. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom, so I’m home most of the day and available any time, any day. I’m used to juggling different feeding, walking, and playtime schedules, and your pet will get lots of attention and company throughout the day. I follow your feeding, walking, and crate routines so they feel safe and consistent. I’m calm, patient, and experienced with seniors and more nervous pets, and I always keep a close eye on them to make sure they’re comfortable and secure.

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
