About: I’ve been around animals since I was 5, so I’m comfortable with animals of almost every shape and size. I’ve done volunteer work helping stray dogs find safety, and currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I clean up after and interact with animals of almost variety of temperaments. I currently work under a flexible schedule so I am available both weekends and weekdays for dog walking, check-ins, and pet sitting. Nikki is a thoughtful, communicative, and kind person and cat sitter! After our initial meet-and-greet, we felt very comfortable booking her for a drop-in visit with our cat, Susie. During the meet-and-greet, Nikki took her time getting acquainted with Susie and immediately made us feel at ease. On the day of the visit, Nikki was on time, sent us several great photos, and left an incredibly detailed and reassuring update. She patiently let Susie warm up to her, gave her treats and affection, and even spent time with her outside on our patio, despite getting attacked by mosquitoes in the process! 😂 We especially appreciated how observant she was. She noticed a brief change in Susie’s breathing, gave her some space, made sure it stopped, and let us know about it afterward.
