About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! About: I’ve been passionate about animal care since I was young, even volunteering at a vets office in middle school. I love long walks and am a freelance artist so I have lots of free time to spend with and care for your fuzzy family member! I’m currently in between jobs so I have all day to dedicate attention to your pet! I try to get 10,000 steps a day and live near a lot of walking paths and parks so depending on your animals energy level I can make sure it gets proper exercise! I’m also more than happy to just cuddle up and watch tv with any low energy pets I don’t have any other pets in my house and ample room for a crate and bed, while I am in an apartment I’m in a very walkable neighborhood and you can’t hear any neighbors or their animals!
