About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
“Thank you Yana for taking care of my Dante and Heid !! I can tell they were very well looked after and the pictures and videos you sent along with the check ins further proved how much they trusted you and enjoyed their time with you. Thank you for helping us in our time of need!!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for pets. I have always had pets in my home and understand the love, patience, and responsibility they need. My friends and family often trust me to help care for their pets when they are away. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and can provide walks, visits, feeding, and attention based on each pet’s needs. I am responsible and will make sure your pet receives the care and attention they need. I provide pets with a safe, clean, and calm environment. In a client’s home, I will follow the owner’s instructions and keep the pet’s normal routine, including feeding, playtime, and care. In my home, I will make sure pets feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention. I always respect each pet’s personality and needs and make safety my priority.
“Aksana did a great job looking after my kitties! she was very communicative and followed the directions I gave to a tee! I definitely will be rebooking in the future any time I need a sitter.”

“Love the services from Alicia. She drops by twice a week to care for my cat Miki. She's very caring and gentle. She always sends pictures and videos for updates, she takes her time to play and interact with him everything she visits the house.”

About: I’ve grown up around big dogs such as labs my entire life which has made me very comfortable around animals. I also rode horses for 14 years so have worked with many types and sizes of farm animals. I have my own kitties and have cared for friends cats and dogs as well. I can do absolutely anything you or your animal need. I’m a very active person who loves hiking, long walks, and spending time outdoors, so bringing a dog along is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m also an early riser and have no problem getting up for morning walks, feedings, or whatever routine your pet is used to. I still ride horses and regularly spend time at the barn, so caring for animals is a consistent part of my everyday life—not just when I’m pet sitting. While I do have a part-time job, I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets receive the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. My goal is to maintain the same routines, care, and attention they’re used to, making the transition as stress-free as possible. I treat every animal with the utmost care, patience, and respect, taking the time to understand their unique personality and needs. Whether that’s keeping to their normal schedule, offering extra playtime, quiet companionship, or plenty of affection, I strive to fill the gap while you’re away so they feel secure, happy, and genuinely cared for until you’re home again.

“For the doggie parents who know not everyone understands their dog, Traci is your person! Her intuition about animals is very strong and she understands and treats them like her own. She follows directions as given and when things were slightly different than planned, she adjusts without direction. We were out of town for two nights and she came both mornings and then again the afternoon of the first day. She opened up our home (blinds, lights, etc) and closed things up at night. She is a 10 out of 5. She provides narrative and pictures of her visit that had me saying, “That’s my dog!” Hire Traci and rest assured your pet is safe, happy, and loved.?”

About: I have fostered 8 dogs and a cat over the past 6 years, as well as taken care of many dogs and cats. I now share a 7 year old pitbull with my boyfriend, and I’d love to help with your pet needs! I work in the valley in scripted television, and I have availability throughout the week and weekends to take care of your dogs or cats! I am happy to take care of your pets in your home when needed. I am respectful of people’s space and often pet sit when people are out of town.
About: I grew up with dogs, and watching them grow from puppies into seniors has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Helping my pets transition from this life has given me the skills to administer medication and subcutaneous fluids, and deepened my knowledge of senior care, not just in pets but in people as well. Since moving to LA from NYC, I immediately started fostering with ACE of Hearts, caring for dogs (from puppies to seniors) until they found their forever homes. When I became busier with work, I shifted to volunteering at Downey Animal Care Center. I hope to always work with animals, and my dream is to open a shelter in Puerto Rico for the satos. I'm a writer, writer's assistant, script coordinator and writers' PA in Hollywood, but since the strike in 2023, there's been a significant contraction in the industry. Typically, I'd spend my time on hiatus writing and fostering dogs, but now that I have more time on my hands, I'm excited to shift my focus to animals on a more full-time basis. Since I do freelance from home, I'm almost always home and happy to spend it in good company—with your pet! I live in a pet-friendly building and have a cat who loves small and mid-sized dogs (the bigger ones take some warming up, but he always gets along with them if they're chill—see photos (he's the tuxy)). Since I work from home, I can give your pet my full attention, and I live in a very pet-friendly, walkable neighborhood with plenty of good sniffing spots. I'm comfortable caring for puppies and senior pets and can even train your dog to sit, paw, lie down, roll over and speak!
About: I’ve been passionate about animal care since I was young, even volunteering at a vets office in middle school. I love long walks and am a freelance artist so I have lots of free time to spend with and care for your fuzzy family member! I’m currently in between jobs so I have all day to dedicate attention to your pet! I try to get 10,000 steps a day and live near a lot of walking paths and parks so depending on your animals energy level I can make sure it gets proper exercise! I’m also more than happy to just cuddle up and watch tv with any low energy pets I don’t have any other pets in my house and ample room for a crate and bed, while I am in an apartment I’m in a very walkable neighborhood and you can’t hear any neighbors or their animals!
“Cloe is doing a great job. Our puppy is well taken care of. She is always on time, never leaves a mess, accommodating and trust worthy. We were so lucky to find her!”

About: I love all animals and I have experience in lots of different animal care, including aquatics and exotics. I myself have two cats and a dog, and I have helped out folks with many different species, including husbandry. I’m so excited to meet your pet! Every morning my cat kids wake me up around 5:30/6am. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed. Pets aren’t “spoiled,” they are cherished. Taking care of beautiful creatures that love us and make us their whole world is a gift. They deserve kindness, compassion, and respect. I love all animals as an extension of the love I hold for my own, and I can’t wait to meet yours and give them love and care.
“Sorn is a dream! Extremely responsible, communicative, and a good vibe. Sorn watched out kitties over Christmas and it was wonderful to know they were in such great hands. We will absolutely work with Sorn again. Thank you, Sorn!”

“Sara took excellent care of our pair of foster cats and their space! They love her. We appreciate her communication, and the wonderful photos of them while we were away. Thank you Sara!!”

“Fiona was great with our 13 year old cat who’s very cautious with strangers. She has calm and affectionate demeanor which any animal/human would love to be around.”

“Sarah is absolutely amazing! My cat doesn’t even like people and he loved her off the bat! She sent me pics of my fur baby with every visit. I’ll be using her again for all my kitty sitting needs! Thank you Sarah ❤️??”

“Irina was AMAZING. I was out of town when my sitter could no longer care for my animals and Irina stepped in last minute to help. She was on time, took a ton of pictures, and updated me constantly. I was initially stressed because I didn’t have anyone to care for my animals but Irina made the experience stress free. My animals were well taken care of and loved. I would absolutely use and recommend Irina to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of dogs about 4years. I like to watch them to play, and talk to them as communicating. To walk, feed and play with them, let me feel so warm and make my day. I have a big heart to take care of them. I stay home a lot and take care of my dog. I know each pet owners have different time, if our time could match, I would like to help and take care of your pets. I do have a big unfenced yard in front of my apartment. They can run and play inside the area. I also have a corgi girl, I believe she can be their friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and maintaining a structured schedule. I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and attentive care throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. I care for pets by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy. In my home, I provide fresh water, feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I stay home often, so pets are well supervised. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow the owner's instructions carefully and keep their regular routine. I treat every pet with love, patience, and care, just like they are my own.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Adams Square
My two Maine Coons, Starburst and Greywolf, who are brothers, are currently 13 years old. These cats have always had a family friend watch them since they were 10 weeks old, so you can imagine my trepidations when my friend said she was going to be out of town when I needed her. Aries did a most amazing job. One of my cats is super shy, but she managed to get him out from behind the chair and played with him. The other cat is Mr. Friendly and she had him on her lap. I saw these miracles as Aries sent me several photos of the cats and her magical work with them. I highly, highly recommend Aries.

Hannah is an amazing person who treated my sassy senior cat with all the love, snacks, and attention I would've given myself! The daily check ins with pictures proved the extreme trust she built with Puma in a short period of time, she even let Hannah pet her stomach (which we all know is the ultimate cat compliment). Hannah is consistent, professional, and kind all the things that gave me confidence that my fur baby was well cared for in my absence. 10/10 recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
