“Yana was amazing! This is the first time we left our dogs at home, while we had to be away. We were naturally nervous - but Yana put us at ease by letting us know when she arrived and when she left. She kept us updated with pictures - and we were able to see that our dogs loved her!!! She also communicated with us in a timely manner, everytime I reached out. We will definitely be using Yana in the future.”

“This was my first experience with Rover and Ali was great! I always got detailed reviews for each visit and she listened to everything I disclosed prior to arriving! I’m so lucky to have found her to watch my dog!”

About: I’ve had my anxious baby boy black cat since he was a little foster kitten in 2020. I also grew up with a crazy maltipoo, birds, turtles, and more, so I’m very comfortable caring for all types and personalities! I’m currently working part time as a nanny for human babies, so I have plenty of odd hours to help with your fur babies too! I’m happy to follow any safety and care instructions you have. I can play with more social animals or be gentle and quiet with more anxious pets.
“Alicia from the start was extremely responsive and a joy to work with! She visited Loki as requested and always super punctual. After every visit, Alicia would give a comprehensive summary, took and sent a ton of photos and videos, and send it to us. I felt at all times that Loki was in great hands and would 100% recommend Alicia to anyone!! Super friendly and you can clearly tell she loves animals.”

About: I’ve spent my life around pets, growing up with dogs and cats and spending over 6 years as a dog sitter. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all personalities, including those who might be a little nervous or difficult. I have experience with senior pet care, providing a calm, supportive environment tailored to older dogs’ needs — including medication management, slow walks, and lots of gentle attention. With Pups I have plenty of playful energy for them! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine, and I always make sure to tailor it to the needs of each pet I look after. While my schedule varies, I prioritize my time to ensure the pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or just cuddling, I make sure to keep a balanced routine that keeps them happy and healthy. I also adjust based on any specific requests from pet owners to ensure their pets feel comfortable and well-cared for. When pet sitting at a client's home, I prioritize safety by following all their rules and routines. I create a comfortable environment, ensuring pets are secure, well-fed, and happy. I also keep the space tidy and respect any specific instructions given by the pet owner. To keep them updated, I send plenty of photos, giving them peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a child, from dogs & cats to geckos & gerbils. Now I have a 4.5yr old Pomeranian and 5yr old cat! They are both very friendly towards other animals. I look forward to meeting your cuties! I'm currently a part time online student so I’ll have plenty of time with your furbabies! I have a fenced-in backyard and I enjoy parks and outdoors. I thrive with routines and structures. I have an extra crate and space if you want to bring your own crate. Since I have a cat and dog, I have most supplies needed in case your furbaby needs it. My home is also pet-proof and safe, no cords accessible or anything on the floors. Pets are also welcomed on furniture so they are not restricted to the floor.

“Wow! I have not done Rover since before the pandemic. Andrew and Traci went above and beyond to make sure my pups felt comfortable to cuddle, eat, and go on a walk. They even brought in a package for us! I can’t wait until we can reach out again for another hang.”

About: I love all animals and I have experience in lots of different animal care, including aquatics and exotics. I myself have two cats and a dog, and I have helped out folks with many different species, including husbandry. I’m so excited to meet your pet! Every morning my cat kids wake me up around 5:30/6am. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed. Pets aren’t “spoiled,” they are cherished. Taking care of beautiful creatures that love us and make us their whole world is a gift. They deserve kindness, compassion, and respect. I love all animals as an extension of the love I hold for my own, and I can’t wait to meet yours and give them love and care.
About: As a lifelong animal lover with three spoiled cats and a horse of my own, I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I will always care for yours like they’re my own. I pride myself on my dependability, communication, and attention to detail with routines or special instructions. I’m here to help your pets feel safe and loved and to safeguard your peace of mind while you’re away! I was sadly recently laid off, so I have ample time to offer to provide thorough, attentive care for your pets. I am available Sunday through Saturday. As I live in an apartment with three cats, I am unfortunately out of space, so I care for pets in my clients’ homes. Due to this, I find I am able to help maintain pet’s routines and keep them at ease and entertained while their owners are away.
“Fiona was great with our 13 year old cat who’s very cautious with strangers. She has calm and affectionate demeanor which any animal/human would love to be around.”

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting for ten years because I love animals! I’m very active, love to hike with dogs, and also am creating music when at home which they tend to love if they’re with me :) I am a part time sitter and am available on some holidays which has been helpful for clients in recent years. Pet sitting fits in to an ever changing and flexible schedule. I am currently at a pet friendly and peaceful residence on a quiet street. I also pet sit for neighbors in my immediate neighborhood within a 3 mile radius.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!
“Sara was a fantastic caregiver for our elderly cat and we would recommend her to anyone! She is extremely communicative, and respectful of our cat's needs. She went above and beyond and asked where a broom & dustpan were while we were away because Becky can be sloppy with her litter. Sara proactively clarified Becky's insulin needs to make sure she would be giving her the right amount amidst some changes in her insulin regimen. We look forward to when we can book Sara again!”
“Irina was great with my two Boxers. They were always really excited to see her. She was really easy to work with and would even brush my one pup who sheds like crazy. I would definitely book Irina again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs about 4years. I like to watch them to play, and talk to them as communicating. To walk, feed and play with them, let me feel so warm and make my day. I have a big heart to take care of them. I stay home a lot and take care of my dog. I know each pet owners have different time, if our time could match, I would like to help and take care of your pets. I do have a big unfenced yard in front of my apartment. They can run and play inside the area. I also have a corgi girl, I believe she can be their friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and maintaining a structured schedule. I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and attentive care throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. I care for pets by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy. In my home, I provide fresh water, feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I stay home often, so pets are well supervised. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow the owner's instructions carefully and keep their regular routine. I treat every pet with love, patience, and care, just like they are my own.
“Jenna dropped in on our cat, Gatsby, during a long weekend. She asked all the right questions in advance and was incredibly personable and kind. I had no hesitations in leaving knowing he was going to be in good hands. While we were away, she sent pictures of her time with him. We are new to the area so finding someone like Jenna right off the bat was super reassuring. Would highly recommend.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Adams Square
Alicia has been providing drop-in visits for my cats twice a day whenever I'm away, and she takes wonderful care of them. She always sends me photos and videos to keep me updated, which means so much to me. Knowing my cats are in such caring and capable hands gives me peace of mind and eases my worries. I'm truly grateful for the love and attention she gives them.

My two Maine Coons, Starburst and Greywolf, who are brothers, are currently 13 years old. These cats have always had a family friend watch them since they were 10 weeks old, so you can imagine my trepidations when my friend said she was going to be out of town when I needed her. Aries did a most amazing job. One of my cats is super shy, but she managed to get him out from behind the chair and played with him. The other cat is Mr. Friendly and she had him on her lap. I saw these miracles as Aries sent me several photos of the cats and her magical work with them. I highly, highly recommend Aries.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
