About: Currently have a 3 year old black lab mix, but I adopted her as a 2 month old when I had an 11 year old senior dog with cancer, so she could be his playmate, and she certainly added youth and time to his life after a sad diagnosis. It wasn't easy potty training her and breaking her bad habits while taking care of the senior, but it was all done out of love for them. I love the outdoors and being active so I find any excuse to take my lab hiking, to the river, or camping! I currently make my own work schedule so I'm very available any time of day/evnening to take care of pet needs as long as I have a short heads up! Let me know what area(s) your pets are or aren't allowed in. I want to keep both the owner and pets comfortable, so if they need space from me as well, we can always start slowly. If dogs aren't socialized, I can also keep a distance when we see other furry friends.
“Lee was very nice. He took good care of our cat Bjorn for 4 days every morning. He updated us with images, played with him and cleaned his litter. He met with us prior to our booking at our convenience which was very helpful. We recommend Lee and will I’m sure book him in the future when we have to leave our little monster :)!”

About: Since the day I was born, there were animals in my life. I grew up with 3 dogs, 2 cats, hamsters, rats, iguanas…you name it! When I got old enough to care for neighbors pets, I did and they loved me! I then went on to grow up, get my own dog and volunteer at primate sanctuaries in Africa, dog shelters in Los Angeles, The Natural History Museum animal care center and even worked at a facility that trained dogs for movies, tv and print work. I have experience walking, training, bathing, feeding, administering medications, and of course playing with pets of all shapes and sizes. I currently work from home in a very flexible job so I am home all day for your pets care and needs. I have an enclosed yard for dogs to play in, crates if needed and movable fences to create little dens. I live in a very walkable neighborhood that is very pet friendly. I have a fenced yard that is shared with my neighbor. Both him and I have dogs to keep your fur baby company. I also have a very friendly cat who loves dogs. I have a crate, portable fences, a dog run, a front yard with leashes in the ground, and I live in a wonderful area of town. I send pictures and text updates to clients when I’m with their pets. I know pets are like our children and the fact that I also have been a preschool teacher and youth group director, I know how important it is to communicate with parents regarding their children.
“Dani is the best! She took care of our cat wonderfully, shared tons of adorable photos and had detailed notes about everything. We felt so at ease knowing our cat was in good hands. Stellar service, will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I love to take long walks in the Hills and flats of LA everyday. Los Feliz, Franklin Hills, Bronson Cyn, Griffith Park, Beachwood Cyn, Barnsdall Park, Runyon Cyn are some of my favorites. If you want me to walk in any other neighborhood, that's perfectly fine. I'm very familiar with and have walked miles and miles of beautiful LA neighborhoods for years. It's always better with a furry friend. I've been a furry friend mom all of my life. I've pet sit and walked dogs for friends and professionally in LA and in Chile for years. I grew up in a houseful of rescue animals. My mom worked for a vet and couldn't stand the thought of euphanasia so she would bring home hurt or abandoned animals to nurse them back to health and find homes for them, or in wild animal cases she would release them back into the wild. We had dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, ducks, rabbits and even frogs! I'm also part of an animal rescue group and have been a foster home. We were able to find forever homes for so many abandoned and street cats and dogs. I'm bilingual with my second language being Spanish. I live in Beachwood Canyon where there are many wonderful roads to walk and socialize. I currently don't have dogs but I've had many in my lifetime and all of them were rescues. I currently have 4 cats that we recently moved back with us from Chile. No friend left behind! One is completely blind since he was a baby. His name is Messi. 🐾 We walk for miles everyday all around the Hollywood, Los Feliz, Beachwood , Bronson and Runyon Cyn areas. Hollywood Blvd is fun too when there's not so many people. Early in the morning and early evenings are best for paws in the summer 🐾☺️ We can bring treats and water and a favorite toy. If you like dog parks we can do that too!

Second time booking Stefano and he was just as great as the first. Goose and Ducky are shy cats who normally hide from anyone new, but they clearly remembered him and settled in fast. He kept up the daily photos and updates while I was in Texas with family, which made the whole trip easier. Everything was tidy when I got home and both cats were happy and well fed. If you have shy or anxious cats, book him. We’ll keep doing it.

Cindy was amazing with Cosmo. She was always on time, sent us really great photos, and even stayed a little longer after knowing he had been nervous from the fire alarm testing earlier that day. She also paid attention to small details, like putting the used bowls and spoons neatly in the sink after feeding. She also left us a Polaroid photo of Cosmo and some cute stickers, which was such a sweet surprise. We felt very comfortable having Cindy watch Cosmo and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Mia is a life saver. Booked way last minute and she was able to help out with my two bengal boys. They really enjoyed her company and playtime. I can tell how the energy was by how the boys respond to us coming home afterwards and they were totally chill. Mia moved to the top of the sitter list and takes awesome photos and she asked questions as needed which was appreciated and even offered to buy new toys for them since she wasn’t aware how feral the boys get with their toys. She’s a delight and so good with pets and a good human highly recommended.

It was wonderful having Brooke as our cat sitter! She did a meet-and-greet with the kitties ahead of time and got to know their personalities/quirks. She was very detailed-oriented and gave us updates and photos each day. Your pets will be in good hands

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hollywood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
