I'm also available for boarding, where your dog will be treated like family and spoiled with plenty of attention, playtime, and care while you're away. I'm home most of the time, and I enjoy walking dogs as a form of exercise. I also worked for a dog-grooming company for about two years, so I'm comfortable handling dogs and staying calm in challenging situations. The only thing you'll have to worry about is your pup coming home with a toy or two, a full tummy, and lots of happy memories! I also make pumpkin treats for dogs. About: Currently have a 3 year old black lab mix, but I adopted her as a 2 month old when I had an 11 year old senior dog with cancer, so she could be his playmate, and she certainly added youth and time to his life after a sad diagnosis. It wasn't easy potty training her and breaking her bad habits while taking care of the senior, but it was all done out of love for them. I love the outdoors and being active so I find any excuse to take my lab hiking, to the river, or camping! I currently make my own work schedule so I'm very available any time of day/evnening to take care of pet needs as long as I have a short heads up! Let me know what area(s) your pets are or aren't allowed in. I want to keep both the owner and pets comfortable, so if they need space from me as well, we can always start slowly. Isabelle is truly so great with my cats! She’s the only person besides myself who’s able to get my very shy cat to come out of hiding. She’s also extremely communicative throughout the duration of the booking and she takes lots of photos during her drop-in visits so I’m never left wondering if the cats are doing alright. Carissa is just the best. There aren’t enough words. Our baby snuggled her the whole time and she just took the greatest care of her. Althea requires insulin twice a day and we have the utmost trust in Carissa to make sure she gets everything she needs when we are gone including her injections. We are so grateful we found Carissa and Althea absolutely adoring her is the biggest plus!
So kind and lovely and understanding! My 10 year old cat is a Spicy Orange who can be very averse to strangers, and prior to moving to LA he has always stayed at my mom's house, so this was a huge trial. Emiko came over for a meet-n-greet before my trip and really understood and respected his orange cat boundaries. While away, Emiko was super communicative and even cleaned up some yucky messes my boy left. When I came home, my place was nice and clean and my boy seemed very calm and happy!
Stella made me feel so much better about going out of town last minute by being very attentive and providing me with frequent updates. She genuinely cares about your pet and will treat them like her own! Now my cat has a new friend and I will definitely be booking Stella next time I need to leave town:)
