I have a couple of hermit crabs, two pups, two cats; and know what it takes to keep a pet happy-and on a schedule. I am lucky enough to be able to move my schedule around yours!

My own dogs are never off leash (unless on grandmas farm on vacay) and wear harnesses/collars when out and about. - When visiting our home your pup won’t hear the door handle move until after their leash is secured to their collar or harness; EVERY TIME. - When I visit your home you can expect guidelines to be followed to a T. - Unless your yard is fenced (or buried electric) I prefer to go on leashed walks to bond with your buddy. - Treats/food will always be cleared with pet parent before being given. I have dogs and cats so it’s preferred that your baby knows that other animals exist before entering my home. If they don’t vibe I have no issue keeping them separate, but would at least like the chance to introduce new friends!

While visiting, you can expect that your pup has plenty of playtime and as many cuddles as they want. I have more pet beds and toys around this place for the animals than I do for myself! I spend a lot of my day caring for my own pets and working around the house.

Nowadays I’m studying zoology/animal husbandry; but my very first job was helping care for hospitalized companion animals at Eastview vet clinic when I was 14. I’ve since handled situations from normal med administration /cleanings/feeding to various emergencies for cats, dogs, wildlife and even farm animals. I was later a wildlife education specialist with a non profit and worked with&cared for exotic species (animal ambassadors) from all across the globe. I more recently worked at a popular chain pet store and have knowledge on nutrition, enrichment, supplements, training supplies, and more. I grew up with animals of all sorts and can’t wait to meet yours!

Mikayla was fantastic! She always left very specific messages with lots of pictures and helped me out with refilling feeders I hadn’t thought would get low. I requested her last minute and she was super flexible with making it work. 10/10 recommend!
Mikayla is great! She’s very communicative and sends great pics! We’re always thankful to have her watch over kittens :)
Mikayla was absolutely wonderful! I get a lot of stress and anxiety before a trip having to leave my girls but I felt peace of mind knowing they were in her care. My care instructions can be lengthy and particular but she was up for the job and my girls seemed to love her! She’s professional and so friendly. I’m happy I found someone to care for them going forward!
