“We had a wonderful experience! She was punctual, communicative, and took such great care of our cats while we were away. She sent updates and photos after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip. About: I grew up walking Dobermans, Rottweilers, and Chihuahuas! I can walk a large dog, but small dogs love me too. I am familiar with local parks that are perfect for dogs to play I desperately want a pet but cannot fit it into my schedule to have one on my own as I work part-time and go to school. This would be a perfect way for me to be around dogs, and give them attention that they deserve. I loved taking my childhood doberman to the park, he eventually learned his walk there and loved to play with his toys once we got there. I would love to do the same for anyone else’s pet.
About: I’ve been around pets and animals my whole life! From dogs, to cats, to different varieties of fish, to guinea pigs, and even turtles! I’m no stranger to taking care of other people’s pets and animals, I watch family member’s pets and ever volunteer at an animal shelter back home in LA. When im back at home not at UCSB I have my 3 dogs (2 middle aged, 1 senior) and 2 cats (one younger, the other middle aged). I’m currently working on campus with two jobs and i have my classes to attend, but in between those times im more than happy to drive to appointments, and im usually free all weekends. All my pet (current and passed) have been and are taken care of 100%. They are my family, and one thing about me is I don’t play about my family!
“Alyssa was able to help us out with short notice. She was very sweet, professional and friendly so we felt completely safe and happy leaving out cat in her care. Good communication & care!”

I love to go on walks and could spend all day playing with your pet.
“It was so great meeting Shontel. She asked all the right questions that showed me she really cared about getting to know if my puppy. Her gentle and calm demeanor was much appreciated. She understood exactly when to pull back when my Moon was becoming overwhelmed. Listened to learn more about him and cared to know if she’d be best for him. We absolutely plan on booking her again!”

I have also volunteered at animal shelters during my summers when I am not in school. I have a heart for every kind of animal!! I am free majority of the day throughout the week. I am in online school so my schedule is pretty flexible. I will try my very best to work around your time!! I will make sure they feel loved, safe, and well taken care of. I will put their needs first of course! My number one priority will be your pet!
About: I am the person my friends contact when they need someone to look after their pet and have experience taking care of dogs with disabilities I am happy to make the time and schedule around the needs of the pets I am watching as well as provide that extra play and enrichment to their day I am not allowed pets in my current residence, but I can provide them a companion in your home, as well as clean up after them and play with them

About: If you want peace-of-mind while you’re away, I’m the one you’ve been looking for! Hi! I’m Jabril, a fiction author with a decade of experience caring for dogs and cats. My clients remark on not only my dependability and communication but their pets’ genuine excitement every time I show up. If you’re someone who travels a lot, works insane hours or just needs a little more support, let me step in and take the load off! You can count on me to give your furry friend all the love they deserve because I know pet care is more than just feedings and walks—it’s about maximizing enjoyment and making the most of this life. I’m experienced with older dogs, good with puppies and can administer oral or topical medication. I specialize in long walks, extended sits and sensitivity to your furry friend’s every need. Maybe you’re a busy health care professional, public speaker or sales rep. Maybe long days at the office or extended trips keep you away longer than you’d like. I can be that other trusted adult, your dedicated pet nanny. For new clients, I require a short introductory visit at least 48 hrs before a sit, so I can acclimate to your furbabies in their natural environment, with you present.

About: I have always loved animals and grew up with sisters who train police dogs, service dogs, big and small dogs as well as my own dog. I love dogs and have been with them since I was a kid. I’m a student that doesn’t work during the week so I have a lot of free time that i’d love to spend with your pup! I’ll take them on frequent walks and give them the loving they need:) I’m very careful with all animals as they can’t communicate their feelings to us. I’ll make sure they are fed, walked, and feeling that they trust me.
About: From a childhood in Colorado with 50+ Siberian Huskies all trained to pull race sleds, I have a lifetime of experience in pet care, dog daycares, pet sitting, and seven years as an independent dog trainer and behavior expert. I have an exacting standard of elite care for any service I provide, but as a sitter I ensure I leave your home better than when I arrived, provide daily updates and professional photography, and ensure your home and plants are cared for with consistency and consideration. I’ll take your pets to grooming or veterinary appointments, and go above and beyond to ensure you feel confident every moment you’re away that your pets are happy and healthy!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Beverly Hills
Morgan did an amazing job while we were out of town with our cat. After recently loosing his brother we were hesitant about heading out of town with our cat alone. Morgan was so kind, gentle and friendly with our kitty and they became fast friends. I felt safe and at ease knowing Morgan was checking on our cat.

Elzem is a reliable, caring, and conscientious petsitter. She’s the only person I trust to come into my home while I’m out of town and take care of my two babies: Juniper, my 2-year-old caliby kitty, and Leni, my 14-year-old Chihuahua. Juniper and Leni each have their own personalities, routines, and needs, and Elzem does a great job giving them both the right kind of care and attention. It gives me real peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while I’m away. I’m very glad to have found her and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful petsitter.

She sent updates and photos after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip. She even cleaned up a few unexpected cat messes without hesitation, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, our cats loved her! Jeniffer was amazing with my elderly cat! He has a few special quirks in his old age and it was no issue! Jeniffer documented everything and was super communicative, I had no worries about my cat when I went on a long trip. She was such a sweetheart with him. You can definitely trust her with your kitty, she is an angel!
I was thrilled to learn that Alicia was available for a 2nd booking to do drop-in visits for my cat. She was very prompt with her responses, followed directions well, and took some great pictures every visit. But most importantly, Alicia took excellent care of my boy, Austin !! He really enjoyed eating, playing, and hanging out during her visits.
I took a chance booking Janelle last minute for over two weeks of daily visits and I’m so glad I did! She was so sweet and communicative, cleaned up after my kitty in multiple ways, and even took out my trash at the end of the job. I will definitely be booking with Janelle again!

Super last-minute trip meant usual sitters weren't available so I turned to Rover. James was incredibly prompt, professional, and helpful in his replies and lucky for me (and my cat) he was available for a last minute booking. I booked two drop-ins per day for a week and he went above and beyond to care for my baby. He sent thorough reports and adorable pics each visit, paid great attention to detail, and did an overall fantastic job. Highly recommend James for pet care and wouldn't hesitate to book him again. I think my cat actually MISSES his playtime buddy.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beverly Hills. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
