About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience with many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I genuinely love animals and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. Over the years, many of my coworkers and friends have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away for a weekend or vacation. I have regularly offered to walk neighbors’ dogs, especially during the winter when it can be difficult for owners to get out (and I needed motivation to walk). I am comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, treats, overnight care, puppies, senior pets, multiple pets, and administering medication when needed. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I am happy to follow each owner’s instructions. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, extra cuddles, or simply some company, I will treat them like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I freelance remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. On weekends, I am available all day and can be flexible around your pet’s routine and needs. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Most of the pets I have cared for love being near me, which I genuinely enjoy. I love getting my steps in by taking dogs for walks, or simply spending time outside with them while they enjoy the sunshine. I have experience with both outgoing and more skittish cats, and I understand that every pet has different comfort levels and boundaries. I would never want to force interaction or make a pet uncomfortable. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, including making sure they have fresh water, are comfortable with the temperature, and are acting normally. If I notice that something seems off, I take it seriously and communicate with the owner. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, respected, and comfortable while they are in my care.

About: Professional Pet Care from Someone Who's Done This for 35 Years I've spent decades caring for animals—professionally at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium as a diver in the Wild Reef Exhibit and personally through friends and my own ownership. What I Offer Dog sitting (drop-in visits or overnight care) Dog walking (I also hike and can take dogs on longer walks if applicable to their health and weather permitting - not too hot!) Secure, attentive supervision—I actually know your dog, not just checking in What Makes This Different I'm new to Rover, but I'm not new to responsibility. I treat your pet like mine, I notice what matters (appetite, behavior, routine), and I follow the care plan you set. Your dog gets experienced hands and someone who shows up. We will need to meet firstly, that's how we will know it's a good fit for everyone, and it's how you know I'm serious. After that, you can book with confidence! I am currently retired so I have the time to spend with your fur baby. Also, I am an avid hiker so if that is also something you are interested in for your dogs I would be a good fit! I bring plenty of experience and water! I will only hike with pets early in the morning or afternoon if it is a hotter day. I am very considerate of their wellbeing and safety! I live in a duplex; there is a park about three blocks away that I bring the pups. If the dog is capable of off leash, after I have gotten to know them a bit and feel comfortable, they will be safe, I can take them to play catch. If not, a walk or hike is my specialty. I am extremely contentious to safety first.

About: I grew up with around 8+ cats and dogs at any given time, and from the age of around 12 onward became incredibly accustomed to caring for them in order to help out my family! I have spent my whole life surrounded by both and am incredibly familiar with all the unconsidered details that go into being a good pet parent. Back in 2020, one of my formerly outdoor cats underwent the amputation of her tail following a major accident. I took it upon myself to nurse herself back to health intensely over the next 6 or so months, and she made a full and healthy recovery. This experience, along with many other medical scares, has handed me a level of patience and knowledge I believe many pet parents should prioritize in their day-to-day care. Truly an eye-opening experience. I also have a great deal of experience with grooming, feeding, and even nursing kittens. I have helped raised several foster cats and kittens over the years raging between the ages of 4 weeks to a year old, and have gown to understood a large plethora of different behaviors and the like. At the core of everything, I love caring for animals and I love lending a helping hand. My cats are my pride and joy, especially now that I live alone, and are even accustomed to travel with me via plane, train, etc. I can't wait for the opportunity to help out you and your pet - I can promise they will be well loved and accounted for. These opportunities are the greatest pleasure (: I mostly work remotely from home or gig-by-gig as a videographer, so I make sure to spend lots of time around my house with my cats whenever possible throughout the day to provide them company and playtime. I have a pretty consistent feeding routine besides this though, twice a day (morning and night). This flexibility also allows me to visit other pets and perform other sitting tasks as required, as my boyfriend can also help out with my own cats when I'm out! Depending on your cats preferences, I can have them socialize with mine, or keep them separated in a whole other room entirely, still with everything they'll need. I enjoy being able to understand any specific instructions or details about your pet that you may have, even their pickier preferences! My goal is to make both you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible in whatever space you decide.

We have a fearful senior rescue dog with a complicated history, and Liz has been great about doing an initial meet-and-great and then an extended drop-in to spend time with our dog alone. She very much understands how to interact with a fearful dog who needs time to feel trusting. Her experience as the guardian of a rescue dog herself definitely comes into play. She was punctual, cheerful, and generous-minded, and we really appreciate her willingness to work with Penny! We will definitely use her again.

About: I was basically raised by my family dogs— almost all protective breeds— some of which I took part in training. Unfortunately, in moving to LA, I have to prioritize my career. However, I’m still looking to form my social circle outside of the entertainment industry, and what better company to consider! Less cattiness, more dogs! I’m a freelance dancer, so almost all of my work is project-based. When on a job, rehearsals usually take place late afternoon into the evening. My schedule is also open on weekends, more-so Saturday and Sunday. I am very good at reading a dog’s body language, and responding accordingly whether I’m in or outside of what’s considered to be their territory. All visits will have to take place at the client’s home or in public settings because my apartment complex does not allow animals on the premises.

SLOANE IS THE BEST! My dog Luna absolutely adores her, she gets so excited when she walks through the door. Sloane is not only an animal lover, but she truly understands dogs and can handle my very strong 85 pound pitbull mix, I trust Sloane 100% with my dog (who can be a bit reactive) on walks. Sloane took time to understand my dog and it shows. 10/10 would book Sloane again and again.

About: I've been a dog owner since I was about 7 years old. I had a husky mix growing up, a very active dog all black with a curly tail I'd walk regularly and keep active. I now have two small breed dogs. A chihuahua mix named Brownie that's just 8 lbs, rescued in 2015 and I have a Rat Terrier named Taco and he was rescued in March 2020, he's about 15 lbs. All their shots are up to date and they are neutered. I am an active runner/walker and I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks regularly/daily. I take them out for about 1 mile or more if we're going out on trails or more adventures. I've traveled with my dogs by plane and by car. I'm very comfortable with dogs! Love spending time with them. I've walked my dogs and others dogs now for years. I have a two active pups to play with should they wish but otherwise they're welcome to play and have fun how they wish. I love to let them have fun.

Colleen is an excellent cat guardian - she went above and beyond our expectations with her impeccable service, thoughtful attention to detail, and patience with our shy cat, who was a feral baby and is not super socialized with other people. She was able to coax her out of her hiding spots, and after a few days and churus later, she was able to share lots of love and affection with her! On top of that she eased my anxiety of being away from my Winnie cat for more than a couple of days with her kind and thorough updates and lots of photos. She even left food out for the feral cats I feed daily even though she didn’t have to. I will definitely be hiring Colleen again when we need to leave town and will be sharing her info with friends and family who have pets. I would wholehearted recommend her with confidence to anyone who needs a cat sitter! 12/10 stars.

Jeniffer was perfect for our cat Davina! She followed our instructions perfectly and we felt so at ease on our vacation. Davina is shy and other sitters have had difficulty getting her out for play/cuddles but Jeniffer was so patient and was able to get her out each day she watched her, including once to play which we were thrilled about. We really appreciated the photos and full report of each visit. We will definitely be booking Jeniffer in the future!

Second time booking Stefano and he was just as great as the first. Goose and Ducky are shy cats who normally hide from anyone new, but they clearly remembered him and settled in fast. He kept up the daily photos and updates while I was in Texas with family, which made the whole trip easier. Everything was tidy when I got home and both cats were happy and well fed. Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Beverly Hills on Rover is $27.75 per visit (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

As of September 2026, there are 8,780 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Beverly Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beverly Hills. On Rover:

  • 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
