“Elizabeth is a doggie rockstar! She loves the babies and they love her! Couldn’t be happier nor feel better about leaving them in someone’s care! Thank you!!!!”
“Adam was awesome! We came back to very happy dogs and Adam sent us plenty of pictures to let us know how happy our dogs were. We have large, high energy dogs so this was no easy task! Adam definitely went above and beyond what was expected!!”

About: Hello! My name is Autumn (: I’ve grown up with all different types of animals my whole life, I currently have 2 fur babies myself! I have a Border Collie Mix (Laszlo) and a big Golden Doodle (Cooper)! I’ve been pet and house sitting animals outside of my own since I was 12 years and old, and as a side hustle all throughout high school/college. I love animals will ALL my heart and would love to help care for others pets of any age or breed ☺️ I’m currently working mornings at my job so I have lots of free time in the afternoon/nights and weekends which I know a lot of people who either have to work late or night shift may need some help with! My partner works from home so he’s always with our fur babies which gives me time to help out others! I am more than happy to do whatever’s on your checklist to care for your fur baby, sending a picture of them to ease any of your worries, crating when leaving, leaving them in a designated area of the home, and I have experience with giving medication if needed also! I know the worries that can come with leaving your fur babies with someone else and I would guarantee treating them with the same love and care that I give my own pets!
“She is very smart and friendly. She did all the instructions precisely. My dog was very happy, and she took some lovely photos from my dog and sent them to me while I was in my vacation. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for animals all my life, and understand the kind of love and attention they need. Currently a cat mom of 1 and love meeting new furry friends! I’m currently working part-time from home, so can be available fairly often and am not traveling anywhere myself for a minute, so can be available for holidays or last minute care. Not currently caring for new animals in my home, but I do have a fenced yard if a brief stay were needed under extenuating circumstances.

“Sea is so good with our cats (who can sometimes be a handful)! We are repeat bookers and Sea always sends plenty of updates and takes excellent care of our pets and home. Thank you!!”

“Emily stopped in to watch our kitties for a few days and she did great. She took great care of them and provided a lot of updates and pictures. I’m glad we went with her services.”

“Genesis has watched and stayed with our dog multiple times now, and we never have to worry about him when we’re gone! She keeps us updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, and she’s managed to form a bond with our anxious dog and give us peace of mind when we’re away”

Let’s chat about how I can help keep your pets happy and healthy while you’re busy or away! Feel free to reach out for more information or to schedule a meet-and-greet! 🌟 I am currently not working full-time so I have a lot of flexibility to give your pets the love they deserve. I am available for early mornings if you need, or can swing by for a before-bedtime visit. At my home, we don't have a yard so we take our two dogs out multiple times a day for walks and relief. They get lots of love from everyone who knows them. ♥️
“Kelly did a wonderful job caring for my cat over a 5-day stay. From the beginning, she was very accommodating and made time to set up a meet-and-greet to ensure it was the right fit, which I really appreciated given that my cat is quite needy and territorial. During her visits, she was incredibly patient and calm, even when my cat was initially growling and hissing at her. She handled him with such care and understanding that he eventually warmed up and started showing her affection with rubs and cuddles. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely book with Kelly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, gentle, and attentive pet sitter.”

“We are so pleased to have met Emma! My little Josie is normally very timid around new people, but she took to Emma wonderfully! I loved the picture updates also. Definitely will be using Emma again.”

“Naomi was great! She sent pictures and updates for my cat Sal during her drop in visits. She followed instructions and was easy to coordinate with. I’d definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve been around dogs, my whole life. Since I live in a small apartment, I can’t have a dog as it wouldn’t be fair to the dog. I’ve watched dogs for my friends throughout my life, but have only done it professionally for a few years on and off. I adore all animals and would love to spend as much time as I can around them. My schedule right now is pretty open. I’m available Monday through Sunday and I am available at most times. Would just need to know in advance in order to assure that I have the time requested available. My kitties are my whole world and they are treated as the king and queen that they are. I unfortunately cannot watch any animals in my home, but I will treat your fur babies as I do my own.
“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

“Shilo took excellent care of our cat Bean. She is a true animal lover and spent a lot of quality time interacting with him, which he appreciated. He loves attention and gets bored when we are away. She also notices and takes a care of lots of little details outside of the usual instructions, like noticing if the temperature in the house is ok, or tidying up the food area if it gets messy. She also sent us a million pictures which was so nice. Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Valley Village
Dana is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter. The photos that she sent of our dog and cat showed how happy they were with her. We felt secure in our choice of sitter and would definitely choose Dana in the future. She even watered our tomatoes while we were gone! Excellent sitter all around!

Mackenzie is a true cat whisperer! I warned her that she probably wouldn’t even see my gray cat, because he takes days to warm up to new people— but by her second visit he was already coming right up to her and playing! The cats seemed to really love her and she gave regular updates with photos. On her last visit she even put a movie on for my shy cat and sent pics of him watching 🥹 very much hoping that Mackenzie is available any time I’m out of town so she can watch my boys again!

Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Yvonne was an easy choice for my family when we had to go out of town. My baby, Tater Tot, is a simple cat, but he sometimes has mildly complex issues. It was clear from the start that Yvonne was ready to take care of our baby. We arranged an easy meet and greet, and we could see that Yvonne understood Tater's needs. They shared photos via Rover card twice a day and our minds were eased seeing that Tater was doing well. Yvonne cleaned litter, refilled food and water, and also took care of Tater's special needs, like daily face cleaning and eyedrop application. It's hard to leave your pets at any time, but I believe that you can trust that your pet is good hands when you book Yvonne. Thank you!

All of my kitties fell in love with Vanessa. She was as attentive to the shy and aloof adult cats as she was to the playful 12-week-old foster kittens. This was something I really appreciated, as my adult cats - while not hostile - aren't exactly charming to strangers. Vanessa told me she brought her own cat from to California when she moved here. That told me she thinks of pets as true lifetime companions. She then also adopted a dog and just exudes positive vibes. I would 100% recommend her services.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Valley Village. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
