“We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne! She took amazing care of our two little ones, Leo and Luna, and treated them like her own. She was attentive, loving, reliable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she truly cares about animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and happy. We came home to two very happy pets! I would absolutely trust Yvonne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to watch their pets.”

About: Hi everyone! I am a life-long animal lover and am very excited at the opportunity to help care for your fur-kids! I have plenty of experience with walking, house sitting, and drop-ins. I work with seniors and puppies, aggressive and meek, dogs who pull on the leash and dogs who tire out before they can even pull! Your furry friends are in the most capable of hands with me! I work remotely from home and can also work from anywhere. That said, scheduling is never a problem for me. I have very open availability and am always ready for my next appointment! While caring for pet's in their own home, I like to have very detailed chats with the pet parents to find out all aspects of their pets day-to-day (favorite toys. things to avoid, their favorite spots to hang out, etc) and will periodically check in just to give updates, send photos, etc. I want the pet parents to be as comfortable with me as the pets are!
About: I grew up raising animals (big and small) in Texas and when I moved to LA for work, I started to take care of animals for friends and colleagues. If I can give a pet owner peace of mind their fur baby will be taken care of, plus have the joy and being with that animal, that’s a win-win I work from home as a freelance creative and have plenty of time and energy to care for animals. I love them so much, it really doesn’t feel like a job. It’s wonderful to care for them and help pet owners have peace of mind their fur babies are in good hands Every pet reacts differently to new people, and every home has their own routines and preferences. I’ve always found if you show respect to an animal and what they’re used to, you’ll bond with them and make them feel safe. I’m very used to every client having different needs, there’s no “one size fits all” approach. I live in the first floor of an apartment with a community yard and I have a patio with grass for quick potty breaks. I enjoy Long walks in my Valley Village neighborhood which is very safe, and I love walking dogs multiple times a day if needed
“Elizabeth is a doggie rockstar! She loves the babies and they love her! Couldn’t be happier nor feel better about leaving them in someone’s care! Thank you!!!!”
“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

About: I grew up having mostly dogs, but also ended up with three cats. I’ve pet sat for family and friends. But more recently have helped dog sit while my clients were on vacation. They were senior dogs who needed medication and some extra love and care. I’m currently an afternoon nanny 2pm-6pm on Week days. This will allow me to do early mornings and midday visits or walks. I am open to evening visits as well. My weekends are some what flexible, with enough advance notice I am free to visit or petsit if schedule permits. If I’m going to walk a dog, I make sure that arrive promptly, take them for a walk and provide update. I’ll make sure to be respectful of your space and privacy. Same would apply if I’m doing a drop in for a kitty. Make sure your pets are safe and happy. When I sit for a family I usually spend the night, I feed and walk in the morning, go to work in the afternoon. Come back walk and play and do dinner. I’ll make sure to clean up after my visits and respect your home.
“Katherine did a great job with our two cats. She dropped in right at the time that we discussed (and even provided a little flexibility when we asked if she could come a bit earlier, which was above & beyond on her part). She was so easy to communicate with, and did great with feeding our kitties. She also did a “meet and greet” before our trip, so we could show her around first. We really appreciate her taking such good care of our boys, and being such a kind soul!!! Highly recommend Katherine :)”

About: I have my own dogs that I love very much and I will love your dogs the same. I also have helped take care of my friend’s dogs in the past so I have years of experience taking care of dogs. I also have open availability to take care of dogs. I can also support very active dogs which not a lot of people can do. I am currently available for full time pet care. I am mainly focusing on dog sitting at owner’s home or strictly just dog walking for any hours needed. I will dog sit at owner’s home for now. My current living situation will not allow for more dogs. I will gladly spend a few hours at owner’s home if that is needed.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a wee lad! Primarily German Shepherds within my family! One of my dogs did have heart worm, so I am familiar with handling pill medication. I am very gentle and loving, and will become your dog's new best friend! I currently work part-time as a Substitute Teacher! Schools are about to close for the summer, so I will have plenty of free time during the summer months to help you out! I am very flexible and can do last-minute bookings as well! I generally tend to work at a gentle/slow pace to bond and gain your pet's trust! That is first and foremost. Then, to give the comfort and support that it needs. I very much enjoy the fun that came come from playtime, but of course, boundaries that must be set will be set. Including, if they need to be caged around a certain time, or cannot eat after a certain time, etc.
“Sara is amazing!! She communicated every visit and sent photos and truly cared for my two kitties. She was very flexible and able to stop by unscheduled in a pinch… Especially last minute when my flight was delayed she worked around her schedule to stop by and give their feedings and medication. She is super kind, reliable, thoughtful, absolutely trust her for all my upcoming cat care. She’s an absolute gem!!! So grateful for her!!”

“Catherine is such a wonderful cat sitter! She took care of our two cats for the weekend and did such an amazing job:) She fed them and played with them and even offered to do the litter boxes. Catherine was very flexible and was able to do an extra visit since our roommates flight got delayed. We are so grateful for her kindness and loving personality towards our kitties:)”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, when I was 14 I started taking care of litters of rescue puppies, and have been known as a dog whisperer ever since! I’m home from college for the summer and I’m available most days during the day. I love walking outside and always love to be around animals. I always make sure any animal trusts me when I first meet them. Establishing comfortably and trust with an animal is super important to me.
“Tatiana always takes such great care of my cat. She is very communicative, always sends great photos. My very shy kitten has already warmed up to her which puts me at ease while I'm away.”

“My first time using Rover services and quite pleased with the communication and peace of mind Kelly has given me. Hopefully she is not busy the next time I may need her!”

“Genesis has watched and stayed with our dog multiple times now, and we never have to worry about him when we’re gone! She keeps us updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, and she’s managed to form a bond with our anxious dog and give us peace of mind when we’re away”

About: Hi there! My name is Gwendolyn. I have loved dogs all my life and grew up with an extremely active border collie . I first began walking neighbor’s dogs while I was in middle school and have been petsitting ever since. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet and I will do everything I can to ease your mind while you are away. I am extremely communicative and can send as many photos and videos as you like! Some of my favorite past clients have been a retired racing greyhound, a Rhodesian ridgeback, and a 19 year old schnauzer who lived on a diet of Erewhon Korean BBQ. I am comfortable caring for senior animals and administering medication. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur kids soon! I’m a full-time gig worker and taking care of animals is one of my favorite things to do! There is nothing I love more than a night in with plenty of playtime and snuggles. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are looking for last-minute care, too- I will do my absolute best to make things work! I unfortunately cannot board dogs at this time, as I live in an apartment complex that has a pet fee. Hoping to change this soon!

“Emily was amazing with my dog, Watson! She was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and comfortable. She always checked in with me, sent lots of photos, and made him feel truly loved. Now, when we’re home, Watson will walk up to the door hoping she shows up, which says everything about how much he adores her. I’m so grateful for the care she gave him and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust with their pup :)”

Mia was excellent with my cats. It was my first time hiring her while I was away for travel. She made sure to lmk how my cats were doing and made sure they were happy. She sent me amazing photos while I was away! She followed all my directions and my cats liked her a lot! Would totally book with her again!

Jen was great! This was our families first time using Rover, so while we were a little nervous, Jen was just fantastic. She got our slightly complicated entry instructions and took care of our dogs like a pro. Really sweet and we are just super happy! Thanks Jen!
