“Yvonne did a great job watching my cat and was also very easy to work with to reschedule around my change of plans. Would recommend and also rebook with her!”

“Elizabeth was so sweet and did an amazing job with our pups! We felt completely at ease and comfortable after meeting her, and will definitely trust her to take care of our dogs in the future.”

“Isabella was amazing with my two cats! She provided my elderly cat with her medicine everyday as needed and put in extra work to help try to get her to eat her food. I would highly recommend Isabella!”

About: I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes (German Shepard, huskies, Maltese, poodle, frenchies). As a teen I walked dogs for the elderly who resided in a retirement home. I grew up with large dogs and have learned patience and awareness through my experiences. I currently have two talkative cats and have participated in rescuing stray kittens from a Carl’s Jr. parking lot. I love animals and have learned from each and every one of them that I have had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. I am currently between jobs and have a lot of free time to take pups for walks! I am available weekends and holidays! I enjoy being outside and going for early morning walks and would love to do that with a dog! I am comfortable watching pets within a home or backyard if needed. I can carry dogs if they are uncomfortable using stairs or if they have special needs. I am extremely cautious when dogs are a flight risk and tend to triple check harnesses and walking gear!

“Kendi was amazing! She was very communicative and attentive with our beautiful cats! I would definitely recommend her to watch over your furry friends! Thank you so much for watching over our little ones! 😁”
“She is very smart and friendly. She did all the instructions precisely. My dog was very happy, and she took some lovely photos from my dog and sent them to me while I was in my vacation. I highly recommend her.”

“Eric was a huge help! Very friendly. while usually suspicious of strangers both Misty and Bruce warmed up quickly with just one meet n greet! He did a phenomenal job looking after our two pups’, adjusting to their meal time and potty break routines to a T, while consistently keeping us in the loop with updates and pictures. We came home to the house as we left it and happy pups. 10/10 would recommend and book again”

“She was great! Was awesome with our cat, made sure to play with him, along with all the other necessities, and sent lots of pictures for us, will definitely book again in the future.”

“After having to make a last minute trip out of town my fiance and I were scrambling to find somone to take care of our pup. We have an American pitbull which many people may not feel comfortable with. We were so excited when we came across Seanna's account and impressed with the experience being offered. The communication was great and she sent us pictures of our pup as well. We highly recommend her services and would 100% use her in the future.”

About: Hello ! I’ve been dog walking with Rover for about 5 years and my schedule is still pretty flexible. I would love to welcome your pet into my life and give them the energy burn out they need and deserve !! I love to help and willing to earn any extra money I can get. Thank you for the consideration ~ hope to meet you all soon ! When I first started Rover , my schedule was very flexible — Today , I’m proud to say I have the best clientele that help me stay a float. However, I am looking and in need for a few new pups to add to my schedule ! For safety, at my house, we close doors at specific times to ensure that my pet will not get into danger. To make my pet or my client’s pet feel comfortable, I make sure the house is organized and tidy before leaving. Lastly , I always check on the animal to make sure they are enjoying themselves and everything is ok.
“McKenzie has been so responsive and helpful and reassuring and made me feel like my kitty was in good hands. She was prompt and thorough and adapt at giving medicine. And she always sent very sweet pictures of my cat . I’m so happy to have booked with her and I will certainly do it again.”

“Jessica was amazing! I booked her super last minute since my regular sitter could no longer do the last day I needed and she accepted. I was and AM so grateful for Jessica and her service. My girls can be very shy but she had no issues. I will definitely use her again!”

“Genesis has watched and stayed with our dog multiple times now, and we never have to worry about him when we’re gone! She keeps us updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, and she’s managed to form a bond with our anxious dog and give us peace of mind when we’re away”

Dayna was absolutely wonderful. She was very thorough and asked great questions during the meet and greet. Every update she sent put a smile on my face: She’s exactly what you want in a pet sitter — caring, thoughtful and detail oriented. Will definitely book her again whenever we next need pet care (if she’s available)!

Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Eric was a huge help! 10/10 would recommend and book again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
