“Yvonne is wonderful! She took such attentive care of my cats while I was out of town for a long stretch and it was obvious they felt so comfortable around her and really adored her. I felt so at ease knowing they were being so well taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I look forward to calling on her again the next time I have to go out of town!”

“Genesis was amazing! She came to save the day on last minute plans. She’s incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful! I came home to a happy well taken care of fur baby and home. She’s very trusting and I would hire her again!”

About: Hi everyone! I am a life-long animal lover and am very excited at the opportunity to help care for your fur-kids! I have plenty of experience with walking, house sitting, and drop-ins. I work with seniors and puppies, aggressive and meek, dogs who pull on the leash and dogs who tire out before they can even pull! Your furry friends are in the most capable of hands with me! I work remotely from home and can also work from anywhere. That said, scheduling is never a problem for me. I have very open availability and am always ready for my next appointment! While caring for pet's in their own home, I like to have very detailed chats with the pet parents to find out all aspects of their pets day-to-day (favorite toys. things to avoid, their favorite spots to hang out, etc) and will periodically check in just to give updates, send photos, etc. I want the pet parents to be as comfortable with me as the pets are!

About: My family had a lot of dogs throughout my childhood. I always felt a connection to them, as if we secretly understood each other. I’ve always lived in apartments, and worked a lot, so never felt ready for a dog of my own. During the pandemic I took up pet sitting since my career as a licensed esthetician was on pause. I really enjoyed it! Going on walks, showing them love and validating their presence always made my day. Recently I left my corporate job and am choosing to work in spaces that feed my spirit. Being around animals is one of those ways. Cats and I get along quite well too! From young ones to old grumpy ones,.. I learned how to deal with individuals different moods by my dramatic family ! I’ve got a calm aura that makes your pets stop for a moment and say, hey, she’s cool:) Right now I’m pivoting into working for myself! Aside from holistic at-home facials tha I provide for people, I’m able to create my own schedule! My daughter has grown up and gone off to college! So I’m quite available! Unless I’m hiking or at a tennis lesson, I’m just a phone call or email away:) In your home, I will abide by your requests. No room for second guessing. I will gladly clean up, take out the trash, clean the bowls, refresh the water,. And do what it takes to make sure your pet is thoughtfully cared for and feels loved. Before or after all the chores are handled, I will make sure there is time to hang out, play, and interact at their leisure/or depending on your direct recommendations or requests :)
About: I grew up around animals: cats, a dog, even two gerbils. I also pet-sat for my neighbor while I was in high school. I am lucky now to have a crazy lovebug orange kitty named Mr. Buttons. He sadly has no interest in being around dogs or other cats, so I have to look outside our home to satisfy my love for them. I am as trustworthy as they come, and I believe pet care should come above all else. I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible and I'm amenable to any kind of arrangement for caring for your pets. I'm typically free on weekdays, but as I said, my schedule changes and there are always exceptions. My priority is to build trust both with the pet and owner. I follow all instructions laid out to the T and ensure the pet feels comfortable and safe in my presence. I also respect the pet owner's home by leaving it exactly as I found it. It's vitally important to me that your pet feels loved even when you are away, so I never skimp out on pets or cuddles when they are desired.

“Bailey is the best with my cats! I had no idea when I booked, that there would be a crazy flood storm & she managed to come and make sure they were okay anyway. I can’t thank her enough for that!”

“Shayla was amazing. It was my first time leaving Luma and Shalya made my vacation stress free. She made sure to go above and beyond and sent the cutest photos every visit. I will most definitely be booking Shayla again!”

About: I’ve cared for my friends & family's dogs over the years, helping with walks, feeding, and playtime whenever they needed help. I may be new to Rover, but I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality and follow their usual routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for dogs throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays, as well as weekends for boarding or extended care. I love spending time outdoors, so incorporating dog walks into my day is something I truly enjoy! I live in a clean, pet friendly two bedroom apartment with a secure cement balcony that offers fresh air and outdoor space for short breaks. I make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable indoors, and I’m attentive to their needs during walks or visits. I always follow owners’ routines closely and treat every dog with the same care and attention I’d give my own.

About: I provide personalized attention for each dog, enrichment activities that give mental stimulation through play, dog-friendly outings, and of course safety always comes first! :) I’m an actor looking for part time work. I sometimes have weeks off when I’m preparing for my next job. Working with animals felt like the right job for me. I always respect your home and I know safety is very important when inviting a stranger in to take care of a pet as they are family. My goal is to ensure trust!
About: I have a dog named Nacho. He is a 13 year old chihuahua mix (my old man). He loves his walks and we never skip. We walk twice a day, I'll adjust times depending on how hot it is outside. I have a spacious yard for friends with pets to come play. We'll occasionally go to the dog park in the mornings or afternoons to socialize with other dogs. I have dog sat for friends/family (all different breeds & sizes!). We have lived with several different pets at a time so Nacho has no issue with other pups. He will play with small/medium size dogs closer to his size but generally will leave them alone. I have plenty of dog toys stocked up and snacks/treats (if you're ok with them). I love all animals and am very excited to meet yours! I am on my summer break from teaching at an elementary school which means plenty of free time to give your pet all the attention! While I understand all basic care instructions, I value if there are any special requests or concerns. Will definitely do my best to make sure your pet is in the safest and best care possible.
About: I've several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I currently have two dogs of my own! I'm comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and especially anxious animals, and I take pride in being patient, gentle, and attentive. I always focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away, treating them like my own. I'm currently in school, so on weekdays I'm available after 3 p.m. for walks, drop-ins, and evening care. My schedule allows me to be consistent and reliable during those hours. I graduate on May 30th, and after that I will have full availability all summer for house-sitting, pet-sitting, and more flexible daytime care. I'm happy to work with different schedules and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need. I prioritize a safe and comfortable environment in both my home and my clients home. I follow feeding schedules carefully and have experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I provide walks, playtime, and maintain cleanliness with litter boxes and potty care. I'm patient and use positive reinforcement with treats, and I always make sure pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 years old! I grew up with five dogs and have always been an animal lover! I’m a mom to the sweetest doggo and would treat your babies like my own! Tail wagging guaranteed :) I work remote, so I have plenty of time to walk your doggos! I love going on neighborhood walks already and bringing a doggo along makes it even better! I care about safety and happiness and will treat your baby like my own. If your pet stays at my home, they will get to hang out with my dog and my cat! Our cat clementine is great with dogs and mainly keeps to herself. My dog, Theodore is the sweetest boy and loves making new friends! We also have a fenced off courtyard if they need to get the zoomies out! We have comfy clean dog beds, but your fur baby is more than welcome to sleep on the couch or even in bed if they need some cuddles!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Studio City
It was my first time using Rover and I had a very good first experience. Mackenzie came for a meet and greet and made me feel comfortable leaving my fur babies in her care. She did a great job communicating and handling my cats having to be separate for the weekend. I would def rebook with her .

Ella did such an amazing job with my senior dog!! She even went an extra visit to make sure the AC was working! Seeing all of Saharas happy report card photos, and knowing how well she was taken care of made me feel so at ease during my trip. I cannot say enough good things! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! 🤗🐾

Our senior cat feels very comfortable in Valerie’s care. She’s a wonderful cat sitter! Our cat needs medication and can be a bit difficult about taking it, but Valerie was able to give it to her without any issues. We felt completely at ease knowing our cat was in good hands. We’ll definitely be booking with Valerie again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
