“Emma was super responsive and on-time for a last minute booking. Finn was instantly comfortable with her which made us feel much safer, being that it was our first reservation in LA and in our new place. She regularly sent us pictures of the two of them lounging ❤️ would definitely reach out to her again should the need arise.”

About: I had the pleasure of growing up alongside the most wonderful mix of animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, a rat, a chinchilla, a hedge hog, fish, chickens, ducks, horses, goats, a pigeon, quails, and even a peacock! My parents showed me the ropes of pet care long ago when they started a horse boarding stable and their own Rover pet sitting service. I joined them on many dog walks, cat visits, and pet feedings, enjoying the time we got to share with so many animals. I now own two beautiful guinea pigs named Bob and Teddy that definitely border on spoiled in their luxury pig oasis. I personally can't imagine life without the joy pets bring us, and I want to make sure your pets get the same love you give them when you're away! I currently run an Etsy shop out of my apartment, so I am always able to quickly get to your pets as needed. I am free to fit the schedule of your pets to ensure their normal feedings and play times remain untouched when you're away. Since I already commonly work on the weekends for my shop, I have no problem getting the chance to care for your pet any day of the week. I will follow the instructions you leave for your pet to follow with care. As someone who knows animals, I know their routines are vital to their comfort. I will happily let pets out in a fenced yard, go for walks, and feed to their needed schedule. I'm also very willing to care for a variety of pets! The less common Rover clients deserve love and care, too!
“Sara is the best!! Harlow had trouble adjusting to a new face at first since we’re new here, but she VERY much went out of her way for him to make sure he was comfortable and felt safe. She gave updates and checked in with me to make sure he was settling in alright which I really appreciate. Thanks so much :)”

“Booked Gina for my kitty babies and she did great! They loved her 🥰 will definitely be a repeat client. Very caring and kept me informed and updated the whole time, even offered to get them things if needed it. Highly recommend her for your furr baby needs”

“Keianna is awesome! She is such a sweet and kind person, and I felt so comfortable leaving my kitties with her. One of my cats can be anxious around new people, and she was very patient and respectful with him. She sent lots of updates and pictures of them playing and having a nice time! I highly recommend her :)”

About: My love of dogs began with the Doberman and Springer Spaniel’s, I grew up with. Eight years ago, I rescued and rehabilitated the best girl and terrier mix, Lottie. Since then, we have rescued and trained a mini poodle, fostered and rehabbed two adult pups, and regularly sit and walk a Lab, German Shepard, and Dachshund. I currently work from home and for myself so I have a very flexible schedule. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for pups to run, relax, or play! I have a completely fenced in backyard and one very friendly female dog. I always error on the safe side when it comes to car. No dogs left unsupervised when needed nor put in harms way while walking, etc.
“Mackenzie is very organized and always came by at the time we agreed on, and my cats trusted her immediately. She sent clear photos and detailed accounts of her drop-in visits, and always responded promptly when I messaged her with questions or additional information. I’ll definitely be keeping her in my contacts for future pet-sitting needs.”
“Between being available for a last minute booking to having incredible patience and flexibility with so many logistical issues the day of, Kaitlin was a total lifesaver. She was wonderfully communicative and willing to navigate troubleshooting apartment access problems not only with me, but also my neighbor AND my landlord. She met my dog with warmth and enthusiasm and followed instructions to a T. With juggling so many things that day, it gave me so much peace of mind to have such a proactive partner and thoughtful caretaker for my sweet little pup. Highly recommend!!!”

“Lindsay was great! Being in a wheelchair and not able to inject my dog I hired her for the weekend my son was on vacation she did a great job and even though my dog was grumpy getting a shot she was extremely kind and soft spoken and did her best to relax him. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone who needed animal help”

About: I’ve cared for my family’s and friends’ cats, so I’m well-versed in their needs—whether it’s understanding when they’re unwell, managing their urinary issues, or sticking to specific diets. I know how to support them through stress, provide the attention they crave, and I’ve even cared for a hospitalized cat post-surgery. I bring that same devoted care to your cat! I work full-time as a remote application engineer, which gives me flexibility. If your cat needs extra care or even overnight attention, I’m fully open to that. I can easily bring my laptop and internet with me and work right from your home, ensuring your cat’s comfort without any schedule conflicts. Whether in your home or mine, I adapt. If the cat is friendly with others, I can host them alongside my two gentle Persian cats, letting them bond in a stress-free way. If they prefer their own space, I’ll care for them at your home. I always let them get comfortable at their own pace, handle litter, food routines, snacks, play, and if needed, I’m happy to have them sleep nearby.
About: As dog owners ourselves, we believe in a simple principle: we won't do anything for your dog that we wouldn't do for our own. During the time they're with us, we treat them as if they were our own, with full attention and care. What makes our care different is that your dog gets the attention of two people, not one! Both my spouse and I work from home, so there's always someone around for companionship, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We also know LA life can be unpredictable, so having two of us means we're able to stay flexible and work around your schedule whenever possible. As a clinical psychologist with a background in behavioral psychology, plus hands-on experience having personally adopted and trained a rescue dog, I understand dogs' needs on a deeper level, from anxiety and attachment to motivation and habit-building. Over the years caring for dogs across LA, we've worked with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities, including dogs with picky eating, excessive barking, or high energy levels, and tailor our approach to each dog's individual needs. We always welcome a meet & greet before booking! There's a large, quiet park right by our home where we can chat through your dog's routine and make sure everyone feels comfortable. **First time clients please enjoy $20 off your first booking!** https://www.rover.com/sit/chanwl43421 Schedule Both my spouse and I work from home, so we're available for care any day of the week! Weekdays and weekends alike. This also gives us a lot of flexibility with pick-up and drop-off times, and we're happy to work around your schedule. Whether you need a quick daycare visit or long-term boarding, we'd love to help. Safety, trust & environment In our home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play, and with two of us around, dogs are never left unattended! You'll get regular check-ins and updates so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands. I follow your dog's routine closely and keep safety top of mind, whether it's leash rules on walks, feeding instructions, or respecting boundaries around other pets (We have three playpens! on hand, so we can easily section off space when needed). Our back patio is fully fenced, so dogs can enjoy off-leash time to run and play safely. We've made sure there's nothing sharp or hazardous back there, and we clean up after every potty break and hose down the area to keep it fresh and sanitary. Neighborhood dogs stop by for potty breaks too, so it's also a great spot for your pup to socialize. Being a typical Asian household, we don't wear shoes inside xD and that same care extends to keeping things clean for your pup! We vacuum 3-4 times a day, wash food and water bowls after every use, and wipe down paws with baby wipes (dog-wipes on request!) after walks.

About: Ive always loved and gotten along with animals. My mom taught me at a young age to not just react to their actions but to listen to them on a deeper level while intuiting their emotions. I love and respect dogs and cats because of how emotive they are and how unique each one of their personalities is. No two are alike, which is why caring for one is always a unique experience. I am available for all times any day of the week! I am a solo game developer so since I work for myself, if I am not writing code, I'll be taking care of your pets! I have am completely open to being recorded on a ring/home camera for owners own sense of security and to ensure I am giving the absolute best care to their little ones.
About: I'm a life long dog lover who is ready to care for your furry friends! I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I work freelance from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I cared for my soul dog for 13 years until he passed last year so I'm experienced with senior and special needs dogs as well. I absolutely love caring for senior dogs. I have also been fostering dogs with a rescue ever since, which has given me experience with lots of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. If I have a foster I will always add them to my profile so you can know! I have a comfortable home with lots of places to nap and a large rooftop patio for laying in the sun. I can't wait to welcome your dog into my home! I work freelance from home so I am always around to be with your pet! Your dog will have as much company as they need. I'm not usually gone for long but I do sometimes have plans that take me out of the house, so your dog should be cool being left alone for short periods of time, whether free roaming or in a crate. But more often than not I am home with the dogs! My dog was always allowed on all the couches and beds but I'm willing to work with you on however you need! Feel free to bring their favorite bed or I do have some here. At night whether they prefer their crate, their bed on the floor, or in bed with me it's not a problem! The neighborhood is great for walks so just let me know how often your dog is used to going. I also have a large roof top patio with a porch potty available! It's a great place to relax in the sun.

“Brooke was great! She communicated with me the entire time and was available last minute. I would highly recommend her to watch your dogs! I will have her back in the future :)”
About: Hi! I'm Andrea, a Sherman Oaks local, mom, and lifelong animal lover who's been around dogs and cats my whole life (including the two cats currently running my home). I know what it means to hand your pet off to someone and hope for the best, and I want to be the person you never have to worry about. I offer 30 and 60 minute dog walks, dog drop-in visits, and cat drop-in visits for pets who need a little company and attention during the day. Every visit includes a photo update and a quick note about how your pet did. I know that stuff matters when you're at work wondering how they're doing! I keep my client list intentionally small so I can give every animal real attention, not just a rushed loop around the block or a quick bowl refill. Meet-and-greets are always included before we get started; I want to make sure it's a good fit for your pet, not just a booking. I'm based in Sherman Oaks and cover the surrounding Valley neighborhoods. If you're looking for someone consistent, reliable, and genuinely invested in your pet's wellbeing, I'd love to connect! I keep my client list small and intentional, which means your pet is never an afterthought in a packed day. Visits are scheduled with enough buffer time so I'm never rushed and your pet gets my full attention, not a quick check-in between back-to-back bookings. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same care I'd want someone to show mine. I follow your instructions closely, make sure doors and gates are secure, and never cut a visit short. For dog walks, I use your pet's own leash and equipment unless you prefer otherwise, and I stay aware of the environment around us like other dogs, traffic, anything that could affect your pet's safety. For cat drop-ins, I move calmly through your space, make sure food, water, and litter are taken care of, and spend real time with your cat rather than just completing a checklist.
About: I’ve watched and taken care of dogs and cats since I was very little. From family to neighbors to friends, I’m the one they called! I’m not the type of person to just ignore your pet for money. I really love creating a welcoming relationship and allowing them to be comfortable at all costs, and of course have so much fun while their parents are gone. I know exactly what it takes to give them the love they deserve and need. Think of me as the cool cousin or uncle lol. Play dates, treats, walks, snuggles; all of the above! I’m your guy. Let alone, I’m extremely respectful and conscious about leaving the space cleaner than when I arrived, and following ALL of the rules set in place for my job. I prioritize professionalism and leaving my boss nothing short of happy as leaving their children can be stressful. Whether that’s constant check ins, pictures, or recaps, I can meet any and all expectations happily! :) Right now I am currently unemployed and giving my all to music. That said, I have built a mobile studio and really just work on records all day! That said, I am still attentive, at home, and will always invite my doggy or any other’s to come catch a vibe and listen! I have a fenced backyard and the sweetest golden doodle of all time to keep your pet additional loving company. Play time to movie nights, I do it all with my best friend and we aren’t stingy about adding company!

Sherman Oaks pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jackeline was great with my kitties. She was very attentive and communicative and left everything in pristine condition. She was exactly on time with the scheduled drop ins, I told her the times were flexible, but I really appreciated the consistency and feel like that showed her care and commitment. She immediately bonded with my youngest and did the best I could ask to check in on my older cat even though he’s a grade A hider. There were absolutely no issues or concerns and I think she went above and beyond. I’ve already booked her for a longer trip I’m going on! 100% would recommend her to take care of your furry family members as well!

Bethany was fabulous! She followed all our instructions and the kitties absolutely loved her! The best part were the photos and updates she sent after each visit which made being away from our fur babies a little easier, knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!!

Jen was great! This was our families first time using Rover, so while we were a little nervous, Jen was just fantastic. She got our slightly complicated entry instructions and took care of our dogs like a pro. Really sweet and we are just super happy! Thanks Jen!

Destiny was such a wonderful sitter for our furbaby Mazzie! She did everything we asked and more! We got so many pictures and videos of Mazzie playing and looking adorable which was such a relief because this was the first time she was alone since we got her. I could tell Destiny got along really well with her and that’s hard to do! She even helped us out with closing our blinds which we had forgotten! I was also really grateful at how communicative she was. I could expect a response within 30 minutes every time! I will definitely be booking her again!!
