“Lauren was amazing! We had just got a new kitten and a work trip came up so we had to be out of town for a couple of days. Lauren make us feel comfortable and welcomed our kitties with open arms. She was great with communication and our house was even happier when we returned.”

“Jade was so wonderful and communicative! I was truly able to enjoy my time away knowing that she was taking such good care of my babies, including giving them the medicine they needed! Cannot wait to ask Jade to watch my animals again in the future!”

“Dylan was awesome. He took amazing care of our dog. It was clear to see that our sometimes nervous dog Max, was very comfortable. Thanks Dylan you made our trip worry free with your amazing care. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼”

“Yoo Jee is the best! She took excellent care of our pets and home! One of our bathrooms flooded unfortunately while we were gone and she took care of everything. We will definitely hire her again.”

About: Grew up around dogs and have helped friends raise three puppies from a young age. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’m very comfortable interacting with dogs, understand their behavior, and know how to build trust. I’m patient, attentive, and especially confident caring for puppies and energetic dogs. I work full-time, but I’m available to provide pet care after work on weekdays and have full availability on weekends. I am okay to adjust my calendar to accommodate your schedule. I live in an apartment with two resident cats. For overnight stays, I can only accept dogs who are calm and comfortable around cats. If your dog is not cat-friendly, I’m happy to help with non-overnight services instead!
About: Hi, I'm Erin! I've owned dogs, pet sit and cared for shelter dogs since I was a teenager. I'm now available to care for your furry child, since I'm an empty nest dog mom. Happy to engage them in play, walks, feeding, a good brush, and especially adept at giving pills disguised as treats. I'm very detailed oriented and will make sure I follow your care instructions carefully. With me, you'll have the confidence that your dog is being well cared for and happy, which you can see with photo/video updates. The same goes for respect and care of your home and belongings. Can't wait to meet you! I work from home and am flexible regarding daytime and overnight pet sitting needs. I'm available most days within my noted area. I'm here to help! I will make sure that your dog is always on leash with me before leaving the house and that we don't engage with other dogs or people. We'll stay in less populated areas and I move at their pace, letting them smell the roses!
“Tommy made our first time using Rover an easy and assuring experience. He's got the perfect combo of responsibility and compassion for your pet, not to mention a great sense of humor. His daily check in's made us feel at ease and we came back to a clean home and a very happy dog! Tommy will be first on our list to contact for future pet-sitting needs.”

“Katherine was fantastic with our doggies as always. She provided regular photos and updates to ease any concerns we had with our two senior dogs. My husband and I completely trust Katherine to provide the best care for Logan and Lucy and are so happy she was able to come stay with them while we celebrated our anniversary!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. I love animals and connecting with them and taking care of them. This is my full time work and not a side gig! “Our dog Romeo is almost five years old and a rescue. He has separation anxiety and is recovering from ligament surgery. He's also 80 lbs of lean muscle. We have only left him once for a 2-day family wedding. We were lucky to have found a local border then, but she no longer takes big dogs. That's how we found Jehnean on Rover.com. Her picture showed she had experience with big dogs, additional skills like providing meds and First Aid/CPR, daily exercise with special needs dog experience, and the best background check Rover could provide. We were nervous about leaving our baby and house to someone we didn't know. We reached out, and Jehnean agreed to visit and meet. Romeo immediately liked her--so did I! They both hung out on his big dog bed while we got to know each other. She has such a great demeanor. We were thrilled to take a much-needed vacation. We even extended the vacation time by one-day hassle-free. Jehnean watered our plants, walked and played with Romeo, and sent daily text updates and pictures of our baby. In addition, she left our house in an immaculate state! Upon our return, her updates were all positive. We welcomed Jehnean to our doggy family and highly recommend her to care for your furries and home! Thank you, Jehnean, for providing excellent service!”

About: I grew up in a home that truly loved animals and always dreamed of volunteering at shelters. I was raised with my childhood dog and now care for two adopted cats of my own. Since I can’t have dogs in my apartment, becoming a sitter lets me continue doing what I love! I’m available on weekends and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, and plenty of attention. I make sure pets are not left alone for long periods and can adjust my schedule to meet their needs. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules (if needed), and any specific routines your pet is used to. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.
“Jason was a wonderful caregiver to my 5yr 6mo old, english cream golden retriever, Jace! He prioritized him, making sure to follow his schedule, and keeping me updated over the entire length of his overnight, even going as far as to inform me of every visit and listing exactly what he was doing with Jace. He provided 2 pictures daily (per my original request), and was always happy to provide more! He treated Jace as if he were his own, keeping him company, providing him at least 2 daily walks, giving him his benadryl, even staying with him when Jace became anxious from the fireworks. I love that he didn't hesitate to ask me questions in the best interest of my dog. He kept my home neat and clean, and honestly I felt so comfortable leaving Jace with him that I woke up every morning feeling relieved to know my dog was taken care of while I was states away in a blizzard. I will absolutely be hiring him again. Communication: 10/10 Adaptability: 10/10 Walking: 10/10* Pricing: Reasonable; as expected over the holidays Overall Care: 10/10 *My dog is a puller and avid squirrel chaser”

“Absolutely amazing! We felt so comfortable with Prerana and Aubrey in our house with our little pups. So thankful we found them for our future trips!”

Vincent was wonderful my dog!!! He kept me updated the whole time and let me know what was going on with him, monitoring his food intake and even his poops! I have a great dane that is very sensitive and this was the first time using Rover and I'm very happy!! This was a last minute booking and he was able to make time for 2 visits to meet my pup before house sitting! Great communicator! And left home looking great! Definitely will use him again!

We had such a great experience with Maree while we were away. Bailey and Niall were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got home. Communication was easy, updates were reassuring with lots of pictures sent via text, and our house was left clean and just as we left it. It’s such a relief finding someone we can fully trust with our home & pets. We’d definitely book again and highly recommend her.

This is our 2nd time using Victoria. The 1st time was just for a few hours, and this time was for 3 days at our home. I’m thankful for Victoria because Farrah has some separation issues and Farrah seems to be very comfortable with her. We got pictures and updates every day, which was nice because we were able to enjoy our trip knowing Farrah was in great hands. Victoria was very respectful of our home and is always so kind and accommodating.

Finding someone who loves your pet as much as you is one thing, but having that also be someone you trust instantly with your life and home is daunting. Arden took that worry completely away by not only jumping into a chaotic start to her stay but never missing a beat with the pups and making them feel comfortable and cozy throughout. Her daily check-ins took the sting out of being away and gave us peace of mind that our home was in good hands. We returned to a place just like we would have left it, as if we’d just run to the corner store. Thank, Arden, can’t thank you enough!

Eric was amazing, he took such good care of our dog, Reggie. Reggie can be pretty anxious at times, but he like Eric right off the bat. It was super easy to coordinate with Eric during the process, and he did a wonderful job taking care of Reg and spending some quality time with him, even braving the rainy weather for his walks. Definitely recommend him as a sitter and we plan on using him for any future dog sitting needs!

Wendy did great house/dog sitting for our Dutch Shepherd. She kept him on his schedule and kept us well informed on how he was doing. Sometimes our dog can get anxious when we are away and vomit from anxiety / but that didn’t happen on Wendy’s watch! He was comfortable with her. We returned to a healthy dog and a clean home. 🙏

Prerana and Aubrey were amazing! They were super proactive from the start of booking between their regular communication and an “intake” form to better understand our dog and her needs. While we were traveling they sent us regular, detailed updates and plenty of pictures of our girl. It was great to see and read about our sweet pup being loved and taken care of us while we were away.

Kyle was an excellent dog sitter and house guest! He was very communicative and personable, and he sent us great photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. He left our home immaculate, and we could tell our old boy really warmed up to him. Highly recommend!
