Our dog Romeo is almost five years old and a rescue. He has separation anxiety and is recovering from ligament surgery. He's also 80 lbs of lean muscle. We have only left him once for a 2-day family wedding. We were lucky to have found a local border then, but she no longer takes big dogs. That's how we found Jehnean on Rover.com. Her picture showed she had experience with big dogs, additional skills like providing meds and First Aid/CPR, daily exercise with special needs dog experience, and the best background check Rover could provide. We were nervous about leaving our baby and house to someone we didn't know. We reached out, and Jehnean agreed to visit and meet. Romeo immediately liked her--so did I! They both hung out on his big dog bed while we got to know each other. She has such a great demeanor. We were thrilled to take a much-needed vacation. We even extended the vacation time by one-day hassle-free. Jehnean watered our plants, walked and played with Romeo, and sent daily text updates and pictures of our baby. In addition, she left our house in an immaculate state! Upon our return, her updates were all positive. Jenhean is one of those rare people who has artistic and creative talent, is a ball of fun and joy, and ALSO is incredibly responsible and reliable with executive functioning skills to boot. Jenhean and I met when she was one of the main organizers of an acclaimed theater production in Los Angeles, but we got to know each other more while she has been managing my unique tiny home-laden property with great care in Joshua Tree, CA area. I am a mom to a 16-month-old vizsla who adores Jenhean. She's a magical person around whom animals flock, like a Disney princess. Animals are naturally drawn to her because she has a warm yet assertive presence. While I've been gone getting medical treatment and being cared for by family, she has checked in regularly and put my mind at ease while I know she's been doing laundry, watering plants, welcomed overnight visitors, and even managing problems as they come up, like broken appliances, with ease and skill. The same skills would absolutely apply to her being a perfect choice on Rover. You will not regret getting to know Jenhean and entrusting her with your precious family member(s).
