I'm currently working full time remotely, and I'm not able to have a pet in my current apartment. Pet sitting is a great way for me to break up my routine and get out of the house!

I strive to provide the same level of care that your pets are used to getting from you. I find that this is best especially for pets that experience separation anxiety. I require meet and greets before confirming any booking request from a new client so that we can meet each other and also go over daily routines and any special care info. It truly means a lot to me when I get feedback from clients that they felt comfortable with me staying in their home or that they noticed how comfortable their pet was with me.
Information Sarah P. would like to know about your pet
Please be upfront with me about any medical or special needs your pet my have. I am fortunate that because I work remotely my job is flexible about where I work from, but some days are busier than others so I'd prefer communication about your pet(s) needs and we can figure out together if I would be a suitable sitter for you. You deserve the best sitter possible and I will never accept a new client that I am not sure I can provide the best care for.
A typical day
I'm more than happy to accommodate whatever sort of daily routine you have for you dog! I've sat dogs who need 3-4 one hour walks a day, and I've also sat disabled pups who are indoor potty trained and don't go for walks at all. I find that sticking to the routine the dog is used to is the best way to fight off any anxiety they might have while their owners are away. I also love dogs that cuddle and I totally don't mind sharing the bed.

Pet care experience
I seem to have a knack for animals warming up to me! On multiple occasions I've had owners tell me that their dog/cat doesn't even like their friends much and are surprised when they cuddle up on the couch with me! I've been a Rover sitter since 2019 and I've met a wide variety of dogs ranging from disabled with special needs, elderly, and puppies who aren't potty trained yet. I've sat dogs who are blind, diabetic cats, and incontinent dogs. I've seen a lot and have yet to be deterred.
Reviews

Sarah is the best and the only one we trust with one of our dogs who doesn’t warm up to hardly anyone but absolutely loves Sarah!

Our pups had another great stay with Sarah!!

Sarah is the best - always so great with our pups and so communicative.

Sarah did a great job! Our dogs are kind of a particular and fussy situation and it was handled wonderfully. We were on a cruise for two weeks and had very limited cell access; nonetheless, we felt comfortable leaving our home and our kiddos in Sarah’s hands. Flexible with being in our space with us there if needed, like before we left on the first day. Would definitely rebook and recommend!
