I’ve hired Rafaela several times now as a sitter for my two miniature poodles. I used to board them at a pet hotel, but a few months back a friend of mine recommended Rafa to me and I decided to try her out instead. I’m 100% going to choose her from now as long as she’s available! My dogs were sooo calm once I got home, I could tell they had been loved and cared for on a level that a pet hotel just can’t provide. Rafaela is patient and incredibly thoughtful. She even wipes their paws after walks if it’s wet outside and dries them off so they don’t get cold. When she sent me pictures of them all warm and bundled up after their walk, I was so impressed and moved at her commitment and kindness. She’s the kind of person you want taking care of your pups!
Rafaela is an excellent pet-sitter! My senior amstaff simply adores her! She takes excellent care of my dog (taking her for long sniff walks, playing fetch, making sure she takes her supplements and medications), and also leaves my mind in peace knowing that my fur baby and my home are safe whenever I’m out of town. She sends me tons of updates and photos and is super personable and communicative. I highly recommend her as a pet-sitter/house-sitter!

Schedule
Since I work part-time and as a self employed, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to the pets I look after. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine, giving me the ability to provide consistent walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. Because I’m not tied to a full-time schedule or any company, I’m often available for morning, afternoon, and evening care, making it easy to adapt to each pet’s normal routine. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and caring for them is a natural and rewarding part of my everyday life.

I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, ensuring they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I treat every home with the utmost respect and keep owners updated so they can feel confident that their beloved pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.
A typical day
Every pet I watch gets personalized fun based on their personality and energy level! We’ll enjoy long walks, playtime with their favorite toys, and plenty of cuddles and attention, so they stay happy, active, and mentally stimulated while you're away.
