About: I’ve been a caretaker in one form or another since I was very young. I started as the neighborhood baby/pet/house sitter, and later became a professional nanny—where caring for children also meant caring for the family pets and homes. Although I stepped away from nannying, I still love caring for animals. I travel for work about a week out of every month, which makes having a pet of my own difficult right now, so pet sitting has been the perfect way to stay connected to animals while helping other pet parents feel at ease. I’ve been dog and house sitting for friends and referrals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, affection, attention, and reliable care. Cynthia watched my dog, Rocco, at my hotel while my husband and I went to dinner and a concert. She was very flexible about coming to our hotel. Cynthia had great communication and made me feel reassured that Rocco was in good hands. She sent texts and photos throughout the night. She took Rocco for a couple walks and fed him dinner. Kim was awesome!!! When things fell through with another sitter we had to scramble to find a replacement last minute, and we feel so lucky to have found Kim!! She was able to help us out on short notice, was super communicative sending lots of updates and pictures, and left the house looking better than it did when we left! She was also incredibly patient with our shy puppy, and did an excellent job taking care of our whole pack.

She took great care of Thunder for 3 1/2 weeks which is a lot of handle! I felt very comfortable leaving him with her.
