About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for breeds of all sizes, from Pugs to Great Danes. One of my most rewarding experiences was raising 13 Great Dane puppies from birth, where I assisted with socialization, enrichment, and early development. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I strive to provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I currently work part-time as a nanny in the evenings, which leaves my mornings and early afternoons during the week available for walks, drop-in visits, and boarding pet care. I’m also available on Saturdays and Sundays, giving me plenty of flexibility to provide dependable care and make sure your pet gets the time, exercise, and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys the company of other dogs, so visiting pets will have a welcoming companion if they’re comfortable around other dogs. I always follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions.
“This was our first time using Rover so we were a bit nervous about leaving our puppies and going on vacation. Brooke did a fantastic job and we will be happy to hire her again to take care of our dogs.”

About: I've always loved being around animals and have spent the last 8+ years caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I also have experience with exotic pets, including a snake and a Sphynx cat. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Whether it's going on walks, sticking to feeding schedules, giving medication, or just spending quality time with them, I'll care for your pets like they're my own. I also love sending photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. I work remotely, so I’m able to provide pets with plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, making it easy to accommodate walks, feedings, medication, and your pet’s normal routine. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, overnight stay, or extended care, I’m happy to work around what keeps your pet happiest and most comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and I keep a calm, clean, pet-friendly home. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets including snakes and a Sphynx cat, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and adapting to each pet’s unique needs. I treat every animal like they’re my own and always keep owners updated.

About: Hello. I’m Karina, and caring for animals has been a central part of my life for many years. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I have extensive experience working with horses, including high-performance equine athletes. That background has taught me to be calm, observant, consistent, and attentive to each animal’s individual personality and needs. I understand that every pet is different. Some want an energetic walk, while others simply need a consistent routine, patience, and companionship. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for with me. I specialize in reliable weekday lunchtime dog walks and drop-in visits in the Encino area, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want consistent, dependable care. I also offer cat drop-in visits and limited boarding for dogs that are friendly with my own well-socialized dog and cat. You’ll receive updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly routine. I provide consistent weekday lunchtime walks and drop-in visits, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want dependable care while they’re at work. My schedule also allows me to offer weekend boarding and pet care by arrangement. I enjoy having a routine that lets me give each pet my full attention and provide reliable, consistent care. Boarding dogs stay in my home as part of the family, with plenty of attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. I have a secure balcony and easy access to a large grassy area for potty breaks and fresh air. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, we can enjoy walks in my quiet condo complex or explore the dog-friendly neighborhood nearby. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and my own friendly, well-socialized dog, so everyone stays safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is to provide a calm, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. With your permission, I’m also happy to take well-trained dogs on special outings, such as nature trails or to the horse facilities where I spend time, for additional exercise and enrichment when appropriate.
“Erika is absolutely amazing and takes such wonderful care of all our fur-kids! I have never felt so calm leaving our pups and kitties when I know they are in Erika's hands. She is just wonderful and has pet sat for us many times past and hopefully many times to come 🥰”

“Emma from Lando Health & Wellness Pet Therapy was incredibly compassionate and attentive! She did a drop-in visit for my husky Junior. Junior instantly took a liking to her. Emma not only provided exceptional care for my dog, but also captured delightful moments through her impressive pet photography skills. I highly recommend her as a top-notch pet sitter and will definitely be rebooking!”

About: Animals (and photography) are my passion. I had the honor of being a pet parent for 13 years. I now fulfill my passion by helping you take care of yours. Your fur baby will receive exceptional care and you’ll get some cute photos while they’re with me. I have experience with diabetic and/or blind dogs as well. I am currently working part time with an extremely flexible schedule. Your fur babies will be in the most loving care with me! I make your baby a priority when they’re in my care. If I am helping with overnight and they are staying with me at my place, I have a spacious apartment and don’t mind if your baby roams around freely. I’ll crate them if I’m stepping out. They can cuddle with me and I’ll play with them as often as possible to ensure they are as comfortable as possible at all times.
“Cynthia was wonderful! She was friendly, professional, and very communicative throughout my holiday trip. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even went above and beyond by bringing my packages inside for safekeeping. About: Hello!! I’m a passionate animal lover with professional experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I currently work at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I supervise group play, perform health checks, administer oral medications, and make sure every dog receives safe, attentive care. I’m CPR and Pet First Aid certified and have experience with senior dogs, reactive dogs, epileptic dogs, and pups who need a little extra patience. Minerva was truly fantastic! As a very anxious cat mom and type A personality, I tend to leave a full detailed list of instructions when we’re away. Minerva was so kind and on top of everything! She truly made my anxiety go away. Our cat is super sweet but can also be a bit particular - she LOVED Minerva . We’re so happy we found her and will 100% use her for ALL future requests. She was so kind, on top of everything, clean, great communication, so understanding, reassuring. Just the perfect sitter while we were away.

Bethany kitty sat my kitten Bianca for a five day weekend and my kitten had a blast. I got the cutest updates- I could tell from what Bethany wrote after each visit that Bianca felt really comfortable with her and got plenty of good play time. Bethany really got to see all the cute aspects of her personality. And she got so many great pics of Bianca! We met before the first day I needed cat sitting to go over where things were and to so she could meet Bianca. She’s such a nice person, very professional, I’d definitely book her again! Thank you!

This was my first time using Rover and she made it the best experience possible she went above and beyond and communication she was on time she sent pictures. She had cute commentary and honestly, our animals loved her. I can't wait for her to watch them again as she cared so much for my animals and I can't thank her enough for giving us the peace of mind while we were out of town

Erika is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She is so patient and has a very calming presence. My cat usually ignores strangers and refuses to play with them, but took to her right away and loved playing with her! She is deeply caring and I felt so comfortable leaving my cat in her hands. Highly recommend!

Valerie is absolutely wonderful with our cat! She’s been able to watch her a few times now and Valerie is always so communicative, helpful, and takes THE BEST check in photos which really helps when we are missing our pet. From the first pet meet and greet, our cat took to her so fast and we are so happy to have found Valerie. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
