About: I’ve always been the person friends and family trust to watch their pets because I genuinely love spending time with animals. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a puppy with lots of energy, a senior pet who needs a slower pace and extra care, or a pet that’s a little shy at first, I’m patient and happy to adjust to their needs. I pay attention to the little things, follow routines closely, and love sending updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re hanging out with a friend, not just being watched I’m currently on summer break from my job as an elementary after-school teacher, so I have a more flexible schedule and extra time to dedicate to pet care. During the summer, I work a part-time job, which allows me to provide care before and after my shifts. I’m able to plan my schedule around pets’ needs and make sure they get the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I’m also available on weekends for extra visits, overnight care, or just some extra love and attention if needed. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, and get plenty of love and attention. I know every cat is different—some want constant cuddles and playtime, while others prefer their space—so I always let them set the pace. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for
About: I was an over the top devoted dog mom for 4 years and always show the same love and concern for any dog I’m caring for 🥰 I currently have a flexible work schedule on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays! I have plenty of time on those days to spend without distractions 💗 There are no children or other pets in the home. There is a large park right behind the apartment building that is perfect for lots of exercise and walks! I know lots of great parks and places to go on adventures!
“I chose Vanesa because I wanted to have Baxter groomed at home. I'm thrilled with the outcome and how sweet she was with Baxter, who gets very stressed when I leave him at a salon.”

“Tiffany was fantastic! She was very punctual and did exactly what we asked her. She took lots of photos and videos of our dog and sent them to use while we were away. She’ll take great care of yours too!”

“Jessica was amazing! I booked her super last minute since my regular sitter could no longer do the last day I needed and she accepted. I was and AM so grateful for Jessica and her service. My girls can be very shy but she had no issues. I will definitely use her again!”

“Julia is amazing! She cared for Shadow who has behavioral issues with so much patience and care. She was very attentive to him and she sent video and picture updates. I fully trust her with my fur baby and would definitely schedule with her for all my dog sitting needs. I highly recommend!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals my whole life, so caring for dogs isn't just something I do; it's basically in my blood. These days, I'm mom to two sassy fur babies of my own, Sophie and Daisy, which means I'm fluent in zoomies, guilty looks after stolen socks, and the very serious business of belly rubs. I'm attentive to routine and consistency, which I've found makes a huge difference for dogs adjusting to time without their owners. Whether it's sticking to their usual feeding schedule, favorite walking route, or bedtime habits, I make sure their world feels as normal as possible while you're away. A note on breed size: I happily welcome small to medium dogs for walks and sitting. I love big dogs just as much, and for larger breeds, I currently offer drop-in visits and sitting, with walks available once I know the dog is leash-trained and walks calmly (just to keep everyone safe and comfortable). What you can expect from me: - Regular photo/video updates so you always know how your fur baby is doing - Patience and attentiveness with dogs of all personalities - A calm, consistent presence that keeps your dog's routine on track - Genuine care, I know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone new, and I want to make that transition as easy as possible Right now, I'm in an exciting season of figuring out what's next for me career-wise, and I'm looking for something joyful and meaningful. Honestly, nothing brings me more joy than being around dogs. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time and energy to devote to your pup, whether that's a quick drop-in, a leisurely walk, or a full day (or overnight) of care. I will respect your home as if it was mine and will follow any specific instructions to make sure you fur baby is cared for and comfortable.

I’m available for drop ins as long as 2 hours and I can stop by up to 3 times per day:) I can board most days of the week. While boarding I can feed, play, walk or groom your pet if needed. I will ensure your pet is happy and safe as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Van Nuys
Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Eric was a huge help! Very friendly. while usually suspicious of strangers both Misty and Bruce warmed up quickly with just one meet n greet! He did a phenomenal job looking after our two pups’, adjusting to their meal time and potty break routines to a T, while consistently keeping us in the loop with updates and pictures. We came home to the house as we left it and happy pups. 10/10 would recommend and book again

Bethany kitty sat my kitten Bianca for a five day weekend and my kitten had a blast. I got the cutest updates- I could tell from what Bethany wrote after each visit that Bianca felt really comfortable with her and got plenty of good play time. Bethany really got to see all the cute aspects of her personality. And she got so many great pics of Bianca! We met before the first day I needed cat sitting to go over where things were and to so she could meet Bianca. She’s such a nice person, very professional, I’d definitely book her again! Thank you!

McKenzie has been so responsive and helpful and reassuring and made me feel like my kitty was in good hands. She was prompt and thorough and adapt at giving medicine. And she always sent very sweet pictures of my cat . I’m so happy to have booked with her and I will certainly do it again.

All of my kitties fell in love with Vanessa. She was as attentive to the shy and aloof adult cats as she was to the playful 12-week-old foster kittens. This was something I really appreciated, as my adult cats - while not hostile - aren't exactly charming to strangers. Vanessa told me she brought her own cat from to California when she moved here. That told me she thinks of pets as true lifetime companions. She then also adopted a dog and just exudes positive vibes. I would 100% recommend her services.

First time using Rover and so nervous to leave my babies. Emma was so patient and kind with me sending her pictures and long written out instructions to make sure I didn't forget anything. She followed them all and sent me updates. I've never felt more comfortable leaving them with anyone. Thank you Emma

This was my first time using Rover, and Genesis was the perfect dog sitter for our dog, Sheldon. My dog is pretty picky, but Genesis was able to make friends with him very quickly. She was very kind and playful with him, and I felt totally comfortable trusting him into her care. She went above and beyond making sure he was taken care of. I loved how well she kept me updated, with pictures and updates on how Sheldon was doing. Each time she sent me pictures of him playing, it reassured me that I made the right decision, having Genesis looking after him. She looked after our house while we were gone and left it exactly how I left it. I feel like I got very lucky finding her. I will definitely rebook Genesis to look after our dog.
