About: I’ve always been the person friends and family trust to watch their pets because I genuinely love spending time with animals. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a puppy with lots of energy, a senior pet who needs a slower pace and extra care, or a pet that’s a little shy at first, I’m patient and happy to adjust to their needs. I pay attention to the little things, follow routines closely, and love sending updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re hanging out with a friend, not just being watched I’m currently on summer break from my job as an elementary after-school teacher, so I have a more flexible schedule and extra time to dedicate to pet care. During the summer, I work a part-time job, which allows me to provide care before and after my shifts. I’m able to plan my schedule around pets’ needs and make sure they get the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I’m also available on weekends for extra visits, overnight care, or just some extra love and attention if needed. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, and get plenty of love and attention. I know every cat is different—some want constant cuddles and playtime, while others prefer their space—so I always let them set the pace. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for

About: I have had cats in the family since I was three. I had a newborn kitten in 8th grade I would wake up at 4a.m. before school to bottle feed. I have only had a dog for a day and was the one responsible until they found a new home. I volunteered at animal shelters through the years since high school, mostly in the cat room, but have taken a few dogs out from the kennel with a leash. I took an animal caretaker course in 12th grade during weekends at a Los Angeles animal shelter, where we were taught how to walk a dog, take them out of the kennels, different breeds and various animal species. The last time I signed up to volunteer at a few animal shelters was before 2020 and was the last time I took a training course. I went a few times to each before the shutdown. This was the only time I had a day of learning about taking care of rabbits. I have dogsat a friend’s German Shepard and chihuahua/weenie for a few days. They already knew me and German Shepard was a trained assisting dog, so they were mellow with me already. I have dogsat two pugs for a few days, that I had not met before, who ended up snoring next to me. I am currently a part time in home caretaker for my mom. I began being her caretaker around 2018. Since I am a part time in home caretaker, I can sometimes have a flexible schedule. I do have something’s I must do everyday, but have time around that where I can pass by and help someone else now. I have a cat at home I spend quality time with and also give him space because he likes to follow and be next to me, but not be smothered or on my lap. I clean the litter box right after he goes to the bathroom and wipe dingleberries. I have had a cat that I used to walk on the leash, but Rupert is not used to it, so I have not walked a cat since. He is comfortable sitting right on the entrance when the door is open and he only walks right by there on his own. He is not a runner, I have had a cat that was a runner and we had to keep the door closed. I change the water bowl a few times a day and brush the coat. I have not brushed pets teeth because he is not comfortable with it, I tried. With all friends pets that let me pet them, I also give massages , as well as scritches and scratches, cats and dogs. I have toys my cat didn’t use and then became his favorite, when he starts getting excited from pets and wants to scratch, I put a toy on him and he can let his energy out on that. With my boyfriend’s cat I learned to walk around cats that scratch legs when entering. He now comes to the door and greets me like a puppy, I can pet him and notice when he is about to go into hunter mode and move myself out of the way. With dogs I had to learn the barking at the door and finding a way to distract if they are too loud or it is too long. We also had to keep on their walking schedule that goes with our friends work schedule. The dogs I took care of had no backyard to run around too much, but they had toys and were given pets, cuddles and snacks.
“Emmi did an amazing job watching over my cats and I loved all the photos and videos she took of them! My cats were very comfortable around her presence, and she treated them very well with toys and treats! This was my second rover sitting with her and I'll definitely book her again in the future!”

“You can tell Vanessa is great with animals. Our shy guy warmed up to her right away. And she handled our 80 lb big guy well, too. We will definitely hire her again to come walk our dogs.”

About: I have experience in puppies and senior dogs. I am well versed in the crazy routine like singing a song before the dogs eat, and I am easily adjustable to the routine that they will need. I am currently working part time, and have two pups of my own. I can happily do drop ins at their home so they feel comfortable. As well as can handle a walkies at the beginning and end of the day! Drop ins to the client’s home would be preferred. The safety of the baby is the upmost priority, as well as their comfortability with myself and their need to go potty! I’m happy to do whatever long system or routine they have in place for feeding or walking, or playing. Whatever makes them comfortable!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for them daily. I currently care for a 16-year-old Rottweiler and a 2-year-old American Eskimo mix, so I’m very comfortable with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. Apart from my own dogs, I rescued 2 dogs who lived with me for a year to a year and a half until they were taken in to another family. I’ve personally trained both of my dogs in basic obedience and commands, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and structure. With my senior dog, I’m attentive to mobility needs, comfort, and slower-paced walks. With my younger dog, I provide active playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation. I treat every dog like family and always prioritize safety, routine, and lots of love and attention. I am currently working part time at my current job. My schedule is quite flexible. I am just not available for weekend nights and overnights. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and follow all care instructions carefully. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed and that your pet is always safe and supervised during visits. On walks, I prioritize leash safety, awareness of surroundings, and your dog’s comfort level. I adjust the pace depending on whether your dog is a high-energy puppy or a senior who needs a slower, gentler walk. I stick closely to feeding schedules, medication instructions, and routines to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind.

About: Hello, my name is Brenda. I am a dog owner myself and have over 14 years of experience taking care of dogs. I grew up around all kinds of dogs, cats, and different animals. I am a strong believer pets are family and should be treated as such. I really love and enjoy the companionship of pets and the satisfaction of being able to take care of them. I am available weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I look forward to the opportunity of being able to take care of your loving pets. I work part-time and have plenty of time to spend with your puppies, walk them, and play with them. My children love and enjoy your puppies' companion. They look forward to every visit with great enthusiasm. I live in a non-smoking home with a spacious, fenced yard. I have a small female shih tzu mix and a female husky whom are very friendly and love to have friends over to play.
About: What sets me apart is my deep commitment to following your exact routine. I am attentive to detail whether your pet requires a strict medication schedule, extra potty breaks, or highly specific care instructions. I truly love animals and focus on giving them my undivided attention, plenty of affection, and the dedicated time they deserve. I am able to care for animals at least 5 times out of the week for 4-6 hours. Depending on the days required, I do have school at certain times a week. I have hobbies and obligations to do as well. I believe 4-6 hours is time that I do have depending on the day of course as mentioned. I could possibly even spend a full day if needed. Again this depends on the day of the week and month. The reason I can’t take in animals at my own home is because I simply don’t have enough space or else I totally would! Also, the baby of the bunch doesn’t do well with new comers. I feed my cats at least 3 times a day they beg like they haven’t eaten in days I might add. They often let me know when they want things by getting my attention and running to the bowl or to their toys or the door to be let out. They have a litter box with cat pellets so It doesn’t stink up the entire house. Laser pointer sessions and dangling cat toys are their favorite. Yes of course the box the cat trees come in are more fun than the actual tree. Cat trees are replaced often, my cats love to chat with me when I talk they talk back. They love wet food every twice a week with many ingredients. My dad’s dog I take care of while he’s on 1 year vacation loves hiking trails that I usually walk on haha. He prefers the best of the best kinds of dog food won’t eat anything else! He’s a good boy and they’re sometimes good cats since they like to knock things over every once in a while or try and pick at my food when I’m on a quick bathroom break. All in all it’s easy to take care of animals in my opinion my cats were not easy to take care of as kittens they needed a lot done and one of them always had issues with her bladder and glands. She’s better now thanks to God and me for the outrageous bills. I’d do it for every animal if I could but I just don’t have enough resources or money to do so. I do love animals and they deserve joy, a wide environment, and amazing care while they’re living and breathing.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I make pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Panorama City
Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Bethany kitty sat my kitten Bianca for a five day weekend and my kitten had a blast. I got the cutest updates- I could tell from what Bethany wrote after each visit that Bianca felt really comfortable with her and got plenty of good play time. Bethany really got to see all the cute aspects of her personality. And she got so many great pics of Bianca! We met before the first day I needed cat sitting to go over where things were and to so she could meet Bianca. She’s such a nice person, very professional, I’d definitely book her again! Thank you!

I booked Ana to take care of my cat while I was away and it was my first time using Rover. She was very communicative, the meet and greet went well, and my cat totally trusted her off the bat. She paid close attention to detail while following my pets regular routine and my pet felt right at home while I was away. Would definitely trust Ana to take care of my cat again, she was great!

All of my kitties fell in love with Vanessa. She was as attentive to the shy and aloof adult cats as she was to the playful 12-week-old foster kittens. This was something I really appreciated, as my adult cats - while not hostile - aren't exactly charming to strangers. Vanessa told me she brought her own cat from to California when she moved here. That told me she thinks of pets as true lifetime companions. She then also adopted a dog and just exudes positive vibes. I would 100% recommend her services.

This was my first time using Rover, and Genesis was the perfect dog sitter for our dog, Sheldon. My dog is pretty picky, but Genesis was able to make friends with him very quickly. She was very kind and playful with him, and I felt totally comfortable trusting him into her care. She went above and beyond making sure he was taken care of. I loved how well she kept me updated, with pictures and updates on how Sheldon was doing. Each time she sent me pictures of him playing, it reassured me that I made the right decision, having Genesis looking after him. She looked after our house while we were gone and left it exactly how I left it. I feel like I got very lucky finding her. I will definitely rebook Genesis to look after our dog.

Joanna was great with my kitties and they warmed up to her super quick which is unusual! She was very communicative the entire week which gave me such peace of mind while away. It felt great to know my babies were being so well taken care of. Would definitely rebook.

We had such a wonderful experience with Itzel! From the very first interaction, she was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. We especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and thoughtful attention to our pet’s routine and needs. We had total peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable pet sitter. We will absolutely be booking again!
