About: I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes (German Shepard, huskies, Maltese, poodle, frenchies). As a teen I walked dogs for the elderly who resided in a retirement home. I grew up with large dogs and have learned patience and awareness through my experiences. I currently have two talkative cats and have participated in rescuing stray kittens from a Carl’s Jr. parking lot. I love animals and have learned from each and every one of them that I have had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. I am currently between jobs and have a lot of free time to take pups for walks! I am available weekends and holidays! I enjoy being outside and going for early morning walks and would love to do that with a dog! I am comfortable watching pets within a home or backyard if needed. I can carry dogs if they are uncomfortable using stairs or if they have special needs. I am extremely cautious when dogs are a flight risk and tend to triple check harnesses and walking gear!

About: I’ve had multiple pets my entire life, I currently have a 10 year old terrier mix her name is Horchata like the drink lol. My goal is to give your pets the same kind of dependable, loving care I would want for my own, while keeping you updated so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’m currently home from college only working like 2 days out of the week so I have plenty of spare time to take care of any furry friends. I’m available most weekdays with a super flexible schedule. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, medications, and bedtime routines. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also super respectful of each client’s home and always clean up after the pets and leave everything neat and organized.

I would love to continue helping others in anyway I can. I am very trustworthy and will do anything to help leaving your fur baby easier for you. “Thank you, Yoo Jee for taking care of our dogs! Both my dogs are very strong and have a lot of energy, so they're not the easiest to handle, but Yoo Jee did a wonderful job handling them and making sure their needs were met!”

“Hector is amazing, he took care of our dog, provided regular updates, and asked great question both ahead of time and during the visit to ensure everything was just as we hoped for. Appreciate him so much. He even noticed it was trash day and took our bins out for us after asking if that was okay. Super awesome!”

“I chose Vanesa because I wanted to have Baxter groomed at home. I'm thrilled with the outcome and how sweet she was with Baxter, who gets very stressed when I leave him at a salon.”

About: I’ve always been the person friends and family trust to watch their pets because I genuinely love spending time with animals. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a puppy with lots of energy, a senior pet who needs a slower pace and extra care, or a pet that’s a little shy at first, I’m patient and happy to adjust to their needs. I pay attention to the little things, follow routines closely, and love sending updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re hanging out with a friend, not just being watched I’m currently on summer break from my job as an elementary after-school teacher, so I have a more flexible schedule and extra time to dedicate to pet care. During the summer, I work a part-time job, which allows me to provide care before and after my shifts. I’m able to plan my schedule around pets’ needs and make sure they get the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I’m also available on weekends for extra visits, overnight care, or just some extra love and attention if needed. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, and get plenty of love and attention. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for

About: I've loved and taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, even a pet squirrel (lots of stories about Honey). Spending time with animals brings me such joy and I treat every pet with love and care as if they were my own. I currently have one dog at home (my sweet boy in my pics) that we've had 10 years and we had our precious girl for 8 before she passed last year. I also had my childhood dog for 15 years with an adorable underbite that made him look a lot tougher than he was. :) I'm comfortable taking care of senior and sick animals as well as giving medication. I took care of our sweet girl with cancer last year with oral meds, tube feeding, and IVs. Our other dog gets allergy shots that I administer at home and I've taken care of him through 2 back surgeries. I've used Rover many times over the years and found wonderful sitters for us when we needed them. Now I'm joining this side of it so I can return the favor and share some love and joy with your fluffy ones. I was working full time and unfortunately my industry has been dealing with consistent massive layoffs. Now I'm a stay at home mom, but have lots of flexibility since my husband works from home. When going to your place, I will be careful while opening the door to ensure no escape artists try to get out. I will treat your space with respect and make sure to leave things just as I found them. Most importantly, I will make sure to adhere to any instructions given for the visit.

I have owned dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, and frogs. Although I’ve never owned a cat, I’ve care-taken them countless times and comfortable with all aspects of cat care. I am extremely respectful of the relationship between a person and their pet, and strive in whatever service I provide for you to not only ensure his/her absolute safety and health, but happiness and comfort as well. I have years of experience caring for pets and a flexible schedule. Feel free to ask me any questions, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I look forward to working with you! I work a remote job with flexible hours and have my own car! I am also fine with dog’s being in my car should I need to take them anywhere or if a park activity would be something they’d enjoy. I unfortunately do not board anymore as I live in an apartment with my dog or house sitting for the same reason, but I’m always happy to do drop -in visits!

About: You might notice I don’t have many reviews on Rover yet, and that’s simply because I’m new to the app, not new to pet care! I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for years through friends, family, and regular clients outside the platform. I bring a deep love for animals, hands-on experience and a calm, reliable energy that pets naturally respond to. I’m now using Rover to connect with more amazing pet parents and I’d love for you to be one of them! I am a former volunteer of the Prince George's Animal Shelter in Maryland, As a volunteer, I would walk and feed all of our dogs and cats too! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Panorama City
Katherine was great at being on time and doing everything she was supposed to for my cat Arya - wet food, topping off fountain and refilling spare water bowl, cleaning litter box and taking a photo of Arya. She was communicative and let me know if there was anything wrong and brought in my Amazon package! She left great notes after each visit. Will book again in the future!

Jackeline has watched my cats a few times and she always does a fantastic job. I feel like she really cares about my boys and gave them lots of love and spoiled them appropriately while I was gone (as requested). Very communicative and always leaves everything as nice or nicer than I did. The best sitter I’ve had on Rover so far!

Theadora is great! She’s incredibly kind, reliable, and so good with my brand new rescue dog. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in her care, and he clearly loved spending time with her. She was attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. I’d absolutely recommend her and will be booking with her again!

Bethany is a caring and thoughtful person. She watched our cat for 8 days (longest we’ve ever been away from our cat) and she took the best pictures and made sure our cat was happy and had company. I can’t recommend Bethany enough, she loves animals and is extremely reliable.

I highly recommend my dog sitter! He is always on time, very responsible, and does a great job taking care of my dog. I really appreciate his daily updates and reports—they give me peace of mind while I’m away. I will definitely book him again the next time I go on vacation. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby! 🐾❤️

It was such a pleasure trusting our cat to such a caring person! She was punctual and attentive, and constantly sent photo and video updates during her visits. Our cat was happy and calm, and we could go about our business with total peace of mind. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart!

Dana is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter. The photos that she sent of our dog and cat showed how happy they were with her. We felt secure in our choice of sitter and would definitely choose Dana in the future. She even watered our tomatoes while we were gone! Excellent sitter all around!

I am so grateful for Mikayla’s consistently thoughtful care of my beloved shy/grumpy six year old cat. The hardest part of travel is being away from my cat and it is a relief knowing he’ll have a kind, watchful eye on him, and access to his favorite treats while I’m away :)

Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

I booked Ana to take care of my cat while I was away and it was my first time using Rover. She was very communicative, the meet and greet went well, and my cat totally trusted her off the bat. She paid close attention to detail while following my pets regular routine and my pet felt right at home while I was away. Would definitely trust Ana to take care of my cat again, she was great!

All of my kitties fell in love with Vanessa. She was as attentive to the shy and aloof adult cats as she was to the playful 12-week-old foster kittens. This was something I really appreciated, as my adult cats - while not hostile - aren't exactly charming to strangers. Vanessa told me she brought her own cat from to California when she moved here. That told me she thinks of pets as true lifetime companions. She then also adopted a dog and just exudes positive vibes. I would 100% recommend her services.

This was my first time using Rover, and Genesis was the perfect dog sitter for our dog, Sheldon. My dog is pretty picky, but Genesis was able to make friends with him very quickly. She was very kind and playful with him, and I felt totally comfortable trusting him into her care. She went above and beyond making sure he was taken care of. I loved how well she kept me updated, with pictures and updates on how Sheldon was doing. Each time she sent me pictures of him playing, it reassured me that I made the right decision, having Genesis looking after him. She looked after our house while we were gone and left it exactly how I left it. I feel like I got very lucky finding her. I will definitely rebook Genesis to look after our dog.

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
