My heart belongs to dogs
I grew up with a Terrier, and have always lived with a dog, a cat, a few fish in my aquarium, and a guinea pig. I trained my current and previous dogs which I rescued each as puppies. Currently, my best friend and roommate is a 13 yr old Lab-Shepherd mix named Sisi. I'm also a passionate volunteer, currently with School on Wheels, tutoring homeless children. I work for myself so my schedule is flexible and am available for dog walks, and dog visits at random times. I can hike your loved ones, or just take them on a walk around your neighborhood. I can handle different-sized dogs so I know how to gently walk into a home and keep the dog safely indoors until they're leashed. My dog has trained me well to walk next to her, to clean after her, and pause to sniff the flowers.

Safety, trust & environment
I know to enter cautiously if your dog is not crated, am pretty familiar with different harnesses and leashes of sorts. I also have a few clients' home keys and secret entry codes.

Dana was so helpful. We had a newborn baby and she helped with our dogs. She was flexible and so kind. Would recommend and use her again.
Dana is amazing with our two dogs Marty and Wally! She has done regular dog walking and an extended pet sitting job for them this year. I feel great knowing how much she loves them and looks after them like her own! And they are always so happy after her visits! I highly recommend Dana!

My shelter-rescue pup is leery of strangers but took to Dana immediately. Dana "reads" dog's language and knew just how to approach her. My dog willingly went with her for her first walk, and came home reluctant to let Dana leave! I feel confident about leaving my dog in Dana's capable hands.
Dana is wonderful! She does a great job with our young, energetic dog Marty, who can be difficult to manage on a leash. Marty loves Dana and looks forward to his walks with her! He always comes back happy and tired out!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate esp if I get booked ahead. I like a good challenge so most dogs fit me quite well.
