About: I grew up with a dog around me as i got older i have a lot of experience on how to handle a dog i love dogs i cant wait to be around more. Every time my friends go on a family trip they ask me to watch their dogs , they know how comfortable their dogs get when im around i enjoy being around them ,they keep me company as well sometime you rather be surrounded by dogs then humans because sometime dogs can understand you better ! your dog will be safe with me.Also I have two locations one in Glendale one in sunvalley im everywhere just wanted to let you know. I go to my parents house everyday in sunvalley but also live in Glendale so you can book me both places I’ll be available . I’m available anytime of the day I'm currently a full time student and this is perfect for me because I choose my own schedule . I will treat any dog as a member of my own family I will happily follow any rule you give me as well and also have a nice workout while watching them!!

About: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for 2 dogs, Max & Layla that were unwanted and abandoned, both lived long and happy lives under my care, reaching ages 16 & 13. Sadly Max passed away in June of 2017 and Layla passed away in September of 2024 I’m based in North Hollywood and available most afternoons and evenings. I currently work in the health and fitness industry, typically from 5:30am - 1:30pm. Showing up on time and providing excellent care is something I take pride in I spent 20 years taking care of dogs with special needs, I have a lot of experience in keeping both people and pets in a safe and happy environment. About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs and other pets for friends and family. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve been around pets since I was 5 years old. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats! I currently work part time. My availability ranges from early mornings, 8am, up until 1pm or 6:30 up until 10pm every weekday. My weekend availability is much more open ranging from 1:30pm up until 8pm! I like to make sure i don’t wear scented perfumes to make sure they don’t get irritated by my scents. i also like to wear lose basic clothing so they don’t get caught on my clothes. About: I've grown up with many MANY dogs and cats, and am as used to caring for them as I am brushing my teeth. Very secure in loving and handling smaller dogs, as having grown up with three boston terriers. However, I have been a dog walker for small, medium, and large puppers. I take about 3 walks a day outside on my own, and could walk with a dog for hours if needed. Not afraid to clean any animal excrements and get my hands dirty ;) I am almost always free! I cannot do night walks (past 6PM), but am still available for house/pet sitting. My weekends are also almost always free. Starting the end of August this might change, but for now I am basically all yours! As someone who used to have a very anxious dog, I am experienced in creating a stress free environment. For example, I can easily notice when a dog becomes stressed, such as hackles and drooling. I am conscious of the importance of leashing, the importance of constant awareness during walks, and the importance of continued affection. Ready to clean up after any animal, feed any pet on a specific schedule, and also clean a home free of fur. Bonus: I love to give dogs a good bath; Cats too if they let me :)

About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up around dogs and have pet sat for many friends and family. I also have spent the last 8 years around cats as well: One of my dogs had Addisons disease so being around sick and emotional dogs is not a problem for me. I can also administer oral medication. I love being around and caring for animals. I am willing to work hard and make sure your dog is taken care of as if they were a part of my own family. I love playing fetch and just running around playing with dogs. I have no problem also spending my time with puppies in fact I would greatly enjoy it. I would also love to take your dog for walks even in cold weather. If you have a cat I would enjoy spending time playing with them and I am willing and able to scoop, change, and sweep up cat litter as this is something I do on a daily basis for my own cat Leo. I hope you will consider me. I am currently a student so as long as I am not in class I am free to check on your pets. Most of my classes are afternoon and evening but there are sometimes breaks in between classes as well. I am also completely free on weekends. I would make sure to let your dog out or take them for a walk so they go potty. I would make sure they are fed and just generally spend time with them brushing, playing, or just petting. If the pet is a cat I would make sure to check and scoop the litter and make sure they have food and of course spend some time with them brushing or playing.
About: Hi there! I signed up for Rover for a little extra cash and to get my fix of spending time with animals! I have been an animal enthusiast and pet lover all my life. I enjoy dogs of all ages but seniors hold a very special place in my heart. My dog passed a few years ago and being with him from puppy to senior was such a blessing to have known such a special dog. I often take care of my friends's/sibling's dogs and cats too. Patience and kindness are what they deserve! I have extensive experience with cats as well, particularly with administering medicine or specific health care needs. My own cat has needed surgeries, medications and she has to have a special prescription diet. Therefore, I am more than happy to care for animals with medical needs! In my free time, I also do volunteer work to take care of horses. I have experience in horse, tortoise and saltwater fish care. I am more than happy to care for any creature! About: Getting to pet a dog, whether on the job, at the park, or walking around my neighborhood, is always the highlight of my day! I’ve taken care of coworker’s and neighbor’s pets before and always enjoy the time I get to spend with them :) I also grew up in a family that always had dogs, so I learned the responsibilities of feeding and walking dogs at an early age, as well as teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and no tugging on the leash on walks! I’m able do drop-ins during the weekdays and housesit any day of the week! My general drop-in availability is Mondays - Thursdays, late mornings to evenings. While in your home, I will take the utmost care to leave it as I found it, if not a little bit better! I will also take copious notes on everything your pet need, where all pet items are stored in your home, and all emergency contact info. I am incredibly organized and love taking copious notes.

About: For House Sitting- it's an honor to be privileged with that kind of trust of your lived one and things. Id defend both with my life. Can totes give baths for extra! Hell, Id even do your dishes lol Drop-Ins- who doesn't love a play date to let them know they havent been abandoned lol It's proven they have no sense of time, but built up habits make for happy babies! Play, feeds, walks (if needed) and allllll the cuddles and pets. Walks- great for theirs and mine mental and physical health. Able to stay attentive and in control, even with the temptiest of mail persons or squirrels that'd cross our path! Animals appreciate and sense true vulnerability, it leads to belly rubs! Win win! My schedule is completely open, as I was recently laid off. Just give me as much time as possible for a heads up for any bookings or requested changes. I like to do meet and greets before establishing care, if possible. Your pet atleast knowing my scent is crucial to building a friendship with them.

Once again, Shanna took excellent care of my boys! She did all the basics like food, water, litter, and treats, but she also went above and beyond with extend play time, pictures, videos, temperature checks, and mail checks. The boys love her, and it’s clear to see why!
Paris did an excellent job taking care of my cat, who is a very picky eater and slow to trust anyone. She gave me regular updates and was very patient trying new techniques to get him to eat and socialize. I came home to a very happy kitty! Overall Paris was a responsible sitter who went above and beyond to make sure my scaredy cat was well taken care of. I’d trust her to watch my pet again.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
