About: As a lifelong dog lover, I have always had a special affinity for our canine companions. I have a natural ability to connect with dogs and understand their needs, whether it's through playtime, exercise, or simply offering them love and attention. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and am confident in my ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for them. I am patient, gentle, and attentive to their behavior and body language, ensuring that they feel secure and happy in my care. Overall, I am passionate about dogs and would be honored to provide responsible and loving dog sitting services. I’m currently a freelance camera assistant/operator and I have a lot of free time to play and take care of dogs during weekdays and weekends . I always try to keep the pets busy, so l like to play with them or train them of course if the client doesn’t mind that .
“Claudia A. did a fantastic job taking care of our American shorthair cat Popsicle for over three weeks, 2x per day! She was easy to communicate with, punctual and engaged well with Popsicle’s needs including litter box, wet food/dry food, water, affection, and playtime! She sent great photos every visit along with a summary report. As a side bonus she brought in newspapers, Amazon packages and mail! Highly recommended…we look forward to working with her again!!”

“Thanks so much for taking great care of my little rascal last minute! I really appreciated it, I don't know what I would I have done. Thank you for adding the litter to the boxes, it definitely will help me since I do have post surgery lifting restricts, that was very thoughtful.”

“Katherine is a wonderful pet sitter and is very thorough. I appreciate the detailed updates with many photos. I will definitely hire Katherine again.”

“Seanna was great! She kept me updated on all her visits. My two cats were in good hands with her. Will definitely contact her again in the future to take care of my babies.”

About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up around dogs and have pet sat for many friends and family. I also have spent the last 8 years around cats as well: One of my dogs had Addisons disease so being around sick and emotional dogs is not a problem for me. I can also administer oral medication. I love being around and caring for animals. I am willing to work hard and make sure your dog is taken care of as if they were a part of my own family. I love playing fetch and just running around playing with dogs. I have no problem also spending my time with puppies in fact I would greatly enjoy it. I would also love to take your dog for walks even in cold weather. If you have a cat I would enjoy spending time playing with them and I am willing and able to scoop, change, and sweep up cat litter as this is something I do on a daily basis for my own cat Leo. I hope you will consider me. I am currently a student so as long as I am not in class I am free to check on your pets. Most of my classes are afternoon and evening but there are sometimes breaks in between classes as well. I am also completely free on weekends. I would make sure to let your dog out or take them for a walk so they go potty. I would make sure they are fed and just generally spend time with them brushing, playing, or just petting. If the pet is a cat I would make sure to check and scoop the litter and make sure they have food and of course spend some time with them brushing or playing.
About: From as long as I remember I've had dogs, from a small chihuahua to a pit bull, German shepherd, or a golden retriever. I've also assisted with the birth of some of my dogs by making sure momma was good and cutting the umbilical cords. I would like to think I know how to care for as well as respect the pets boundaries and also have fun with them! For my cats: I feed them as scheduled, play or cuddle with them as needed, and make sure to regularly clean their litter box. For my dog: I feed him as scheduled, take him on a morning and afternoon walk, and make sure to play with him as needed in our backyard! (They have automated water fountains and feeders for when im at work.) For my cats: I feed them as scheduled, play or cuddle with them as needed, and make sure to regularly clean their litter box. For my dog: I feed him as scheduled, take him on a morning and afternoon walk, and make sure to play with him as needed in our backyard!
About: I’ve had pets in my home since I was a baby. I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, and even hermit crabs. I love animals! I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another. Two of my cats lived to be over 20 years old, and my current cat is 19. I love senior kitties and have plenty of experience giving them shots and other types of medication. For cats I offer feeding/watering, litter cleaning, basic grooming, play, company, and medication administering. I also have experience with small and medium-sized dogs such as toy poodles and pugs. For dogs I offer walking, feeding/watering, basic grooming, play, and company. I’m currently between jobs so I have plenty of time for drop-in visits and dog-walking throughout the day. I prefer morning and evening visits but can also do mid-day if needed. I treat your fur babies with the utmost care and love, as if they were my own. If anything seems out of the ordinary, rest assured I will contact you and take the necessary action to keep your baby safe.

About: German shepherds have been living with my family for decades. Loyal dogs to whom I'm grateful. Meeting new friends is fun, and opportunities to walk together are welcome. I'm currently in study mode. Got a certificate after months of work. To get out and meet new pets and people sounds good. I'm taking online classess, and spending some time to look for work in my field. Which are low-voltage & networking. So going for walks is a welcome activity. I used to live in a country-side house. The dogs would mostly take care of themselves. Except for the feeding, grooming, cleaning parts. I like meeting new friends, and I would inquire about the pets' preferences; the owners' too.
“Margarita went the extra mile for peanuts check in and I suggested she bring her own dog so peanut can have a quick play sesh and it worked out perfectly they got along so well and their energies matched 🥰”

“Annie has taken care of our cats a couple of times and is just wonderful. She sends a report each time and a few photos to let us know all is well. We appreciate her responsiveness and reliability and feel safe knowing she is taking care of our furry family members!”
“Amazing dog walker/dog sitter! I trust him with my babies buddy and Benji and hope he can watch them again in the near future:) this was my first time using Rover and I’m so happy he was able to watch my dogs, he was patient with them and able to send photos/details after each visit. Once again thank you!:)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since i was a little girl and have taken care of different sizes and breeds of dogs and cats. The longest i’ve taken care of a furry friend for is about a month and a half until the owner came back from vacation. I currently work part time and go to school so my schedule shifts a bit but i am looking for regular pets to care for and see! I have 2 of my own furry friends! I own a 9 year old maltese and 2 year old tuxedo cat. I always make time to walk my dog and play with my cat so they don’t feel lonely when i’m busy. I love buying them toys and taking them out to explore the outside.
About: I’ve had my own dog for 17 years since he was a puppy, so I’ve experienced everything from training zoomie-filled puppy days to caring for a sweet senior dog who needs extra patience and support. I treat every pet like family and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and little quirks so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m great with young dogs who are still learning the rules and especially comfortable caring for senior pets who may need slower walks, medication, or extra TLC. I also make communication a priority, so you’ll get regular updates, photos, and probably a funny story from our walks 🐶 I’m happy to do a meet and greet prior to our first walk! I’m looking to schedule some dog walks on the weekends in the Burbank area as a fun part time gig that also gets me (and your dog) outdoors and exercising! For walks and drop-in visits, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own environment. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, whether that means a long energy-burning walk, a slower senior stroll, playtime, feeding, medications, or just extra attention and company. I always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort level so they can relax and have fun while you’re away.

Ella did such an amazing job with my senior dog!! She even went an extra visit to make sure the AC was working! Seeing all of Saharas happy report card photos, and knowing how well she was taken care of made me feel so at ease during my trip. I cannot say enough good things! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! 🤗🐾

Anna was excellent with my fur babies. They seemed super happy in the photos she took. All visits had little blurbs with how the check-ins went. She was very professional and didn’t hesitate to ask any additional questions with information I missed. I’ll definitely be reaching out again anytime I’m in need of a sitter!

Natalie was amazing while we were away on our long trip. She was incredibly kind and took excellent care of our dog Watson. She kept me consistently updated with photos and any important information, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while we were gone. Coming home, I could tell how much care and love my dog was given. I could even tell when I first met her that I would be comfortable leaving my dog under her care. I would absolutely love to book Natalie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
