“Candy really took care of our boy Bentley while we were on vacation. This was his first time with a Rover sitter and we would definitely recommend and go back to Candy.”

“A great experience that was easy, flexible, worry and stress-free. Amon and Adam work from home and adore doggies and treat them as their own. Our pup had loads of human and happy pup interaction. Plus, sunshine, backyard sniffing and neighborhood walks outside. Inside filled with cozy beds and fuzzy blankets. Looking forward to Phoebe’s next stay.”

“My dog had a great time during our absence. Robert sent videos and pictures to show how our furry baby was doing. We will avail of their services the next time we go out of town.”

“Rita is the best sitter ever! She’s incredibly informative and attentive. Anytime something seemed off or questionable with my dog, she was on it immediately. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such caring and capable hands.”

“Collin took wonderful care of Winston when we were out of town for 4 days! He was so communicative, sent updates and photos during the stay and clearly made Winston feel at home. Winston came home a very happy and tired boy from his stay. We would highly recommend Collin and can’t wait to work with him again!”

“I will definitely use them again. They treated Frank as they would their own. They provided daily updates and pictures which made me feel so at ease. He looked so happy in every photo. He even went back to Elaine for pets when I picked him up so I know he really liked her. They are truly the best. Frank can’t wait to be babysat again.”

“Perfect ! This is the second time, Camille and Nadège take care of our dog during 5 days. We had pictures and news daily, it seems our dog was comfortable and had a good time. Thanks again and see you the next time :)”

“Nancy was so wonderful to agree to take my pup for me a few days before I headed out of town for a week. I usually bring him with me when I travel so was worried about leaving him behind. Nancy did everything to make us feel comfortable! Nancy was so accommodating. She sent updates every day (pics, texts, etc.) She took my pup on hikes every afternoon and gave him so many cuddles and so much attention! She even let me pick him up extremely late when my plane was delayed coming home. We would absolutely recommend Nancy to anyone needing someone trustworthy to watch their dog, and we plan on using her many more times!”
“my shy only child got a chance to spend some time around other dogs and cats while i was away. Barbara said they brought her around everywhere they went and tried buying her wet food and treats since she wasn't eating her kibble (but she just doesn't really eat in unfamiliar settings). pretty responsive!”

About: I’m a professional dog trainer and the owner of Obedient Tails Dog Training, with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. What sets my care apart is structure. I look beyond simply feeding, walking, and supervising… I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, body language, energy level, and individual needs. Depending on the dog, their stay may include structured walks, supervised social time, individual play, enrichment, calm downtime, crate routines, and real-world outings. I’m experienced with puppies, adolescent dogs, large breeds, reactive dogs, and dogs who need extra consistency or help settling in new environments. My goal is to provide safe, enriching, structured care while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is being handled by someone who truly understands canine behavior. Dog care is very much built into my daily routine. I balance private training sessions, business responsibilities, and personal time while setting aside dedicated time to fulfill the dogs in my care. Depending on the day, that may include pack walks, park outings, structured play, recall practice, individual training, or calm downtime at home. When I’m handling administrative work for my business, dogs may relax or free roam in the living room under supervision. My goal is to create a balanced routine that includes activity, enrichment, structure, and plenty of time to settle. Safety and structure are a major part of how I manage dogs in my home. Most dogs in my care are crate trained, giving each dog a designated space where they can decompress, rest, and feel secure. I closely supervise shared spaces, keep the environment clean and organized, and avoid leaving food, toys, or other high-value resources out unnecessarily around multiple dogs. Dogs are introduced and socialized thoughtfully based on temperament and comfort, rather than simply being placed together. I also use consistent rotations throughout the day so each dog receives appropriate exercise, attention, enrichment, and downtime. This helps keep the environment calm, prevents dogs from becoming overstimulated, and allows me to give each dog care based on their individual needs.

She lives in a very nice area of North Hollywood and also has a backyard for the dogs to play around in. My Khloe was very happy to go see her new sitter, and Aidas pups too, which my pup adapted very well with instantly💕💕🥰. I was sent many pic and videos throughout her stay, which made me more at ease she was super informative. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AIDA, she's super friendly and will make sure your fur baby is well taken care of, that's how she made my Khloe and I feel. I will forsure book her at any time that my Khloe needs a sitter Merci, Aida🙏🥰!!!!!”

“Jessica was so awesome that I wish I could gatekeep her haha. She did everything I asked and more to care for my cat while I was away for several weeks. I'm excited to have her as my petsitter going forward!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. They’re my favorite animals. :) I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another so I learned from an early age how to care for kitties. I’ve nursed kittens from bottles, taken care of adult cats, and have given medication to senior cats. My current 19-year old Maine Coon kitty has diabetes, so I give him insulin twice a day. I can give your kitties shots if needed as well as any food-based medications, creams, etc. I’m a bit of cat whisperer, too, so I love getting to care for kitties of all types!

About: Hii, my name is Angel. I am a student, and I have been cat sitting, walking and taking care of animals since I was a kid in Los Angeles and New York! I understand that every cat is different some are social, others prefer space, and I adjust my care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and stress free in their own home. I’m very detail oriented with feeding schedules, litter box care, and any special instructions, and I respect each cat’s environment. I also give regular updates so you always know how your cat is doing while you’re away!! My goal is to create a quiet, consistent, and comforting experience that keeps your cat relaxed and cared for in their familiar space. Cat House Sitting Services: • Feeding and fresh water refills • Litter box cleaning and maintenance • Playtime and enrichment (toys, stimulation, interaction if social) • Medication administration if needed • Check-ins or overnight stays depending on comfort level • Daily photo and video updates • Mail/package collection and light home upkeep while you’re away

About: Having cats in the house as a child instantly attached me to them. During high school I worked with my local humane society to bring in strays for care and adoption. I've rescued my own two lovely guys here in LA and helped others adopt more. My friends and coworkers know I'm the first person they can ask when they need someone to check in while they're away!

“Sea is so good with our cats (who can sometimes be a handful)! We are repeat bookers and Sea always sends plenty of updates and takes excellent care of our pets and home. Thank you!!”

“Dayna went above and beyond with my 3 and really tried to understand each cat’s preferences and needs. They were all so happy while I was away in Dayna’s care. Dayna’s feedback for each visit was really detailed and very helpful while I was away from home.”

About: I've had cats since I was 9 years old and have years of experience caring for them, including working at a cat shelter where I handled everything from feeding and cleaning to socializing shy cats and giving medications. I'm comfortable with kittens, seniors, and special needs cats, and I know how to read their body language to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Whether your cat needs playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience, I'll meet them where they are.
“I was very nervous because this was the first time Carl and Clem have been left alone and needed a sitter, but Claudia went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of and didn’t get lonely. She came out to meet them before my trip and learned their personalities and needs. Carl got extra love (he’s the needy one) while Claudia took care to get Clem her treats away from her brother who has dietary restrictions. They looked so happy getting cuddles from Claudia in the pictures she sent me and they had full bowls of food, water and clean litter boxes the entire time! I won’t be nearly as worried next time I need a sitter if Claudia is available to care for them! Carl and Clem loved having her!!!”

“Erin was absolutely incredible with our kitties. She gave us lots of updates and tons of photos, so we felt very at ease. Our male kitty can be a little tough with getting to eat his food, but Erin was so patient. You can tell she really loves the animals she cares for. Would 100% recommend!”

About: My name is nicolle and i have a 2 year old tuxedo cat. I previously took care of 2 other cats who are 2 and 4 years old and took care of one of them after she got spayed. I raised my sisters 5 year old cat and took care of him while she was at work for months. Love cats and would be happy to look after them!
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and even a tortoise on occasion for the past several years and I’m quite good at it. Interested in long term gigs I can do during the week but I’m also mostly available on the weekends I work Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm but am willing to commute to work from your home if I’m staying at your place during the week and your pet can be left alone during the day. I can take care of your pets before and after work no problem I follow the rules set forth by the owners regarding the animal’s well being and safety if they can go outside or not and I always make sure the animal is let outside in a secure area
“Annie was fantastic! Our cat recently got diagnosed with diabetes and we considered either canceling our trip, but after meeting Annie we realized our kitty would be in the best hands! She sent detailed updates and pictures that put our minds at ease. We are so thankful that we found her and will 10000% be asking her to watched our kitties in the future! Do not hesitate to book Annie, she’s the best out here!”

About: I’ve had cats in my life since I was 18 and my family adopted a stray who turned out to be pregnant! She gave birth to two little male kittens that my mom was able to convince my dad to keep 😂. A few years later, my mom adopted 2 more strays and my future as a cat lady was sealed. Last Summer, I adopted 2 little kittens of my own; sisters named Trinket and Sally. They are a domestic medium hair and short hair respectively. They were found at 2 weeks old and bottle fed until they were able to eat on their own. They’re my little cuddle bugs. I really understand how important it is to find someone you trust to watch your own cats. I have plenty of experience cleaning litter boxes, administering medicine, and scratching behind the ears. I’d love to meet your cat(s) and take as much care of them as I do my own!

“Kat took amazing care of our buddy, and we appreciate her so much!! We loved all the pics and Kat was very consistent with providing updates on how he was doing. We feel safe and confident in working with Kat!”

About: I love cats. I have a beautiful 9 year old cat named Leo. My experience with cats mostly comes from living with them. Before Leo there were two cats that I lived with Dude Kitty and Froderick and one was considered the mean cat but I got along with him just fine. I am also good with cleaning out litter boxes and making sure the area is swept up. I also don’t mind changing the litter. I would love to take care of your cat for you. I hope you will consider me.
About: I am a former veterinary technician now turned dog walker and petsitter. I started off working with animals helping the ranch hands at Pierce College. I assisted with 3 kidding seasons and educating the new students on the goat unit. Towards the end this time, I simultaneously started working at my first veterinary practice. I was there for a long time where I learned all the key basic teachings of veterinary medicine. I worked with dogs, cats, rats, birds, and rabbits at this practice. (Fun fact: I become pretty good at reading x-rays which I was very proud about.) I learned how to restrain properly (for all animals), draw blood, collect lab samples, express anal glands, nail trims, surgery monitoring, and lots of client care service. From there I moved to Seattle to work at a new veterinary practice. (If you are able to, please visit Seattle in the summer!) I missed home so I moved back after a while and started working at a veterinary hospital in Santa Monica. It was there were I learned the most because it was not only appointment based, but also a walk in/emergency clinic. Things got very chaotic and through this chaos it was my best work. I was the calm in the storm. I gave every single pet the exact same care no matter how neglected (we worked with the animal shelter and rescues) or how loved they were because they all deserve to feel cared for. I made sure that you pet parents deserved to feel safe trusting me with your pet's care. I have been with people on their best days with their new puppies and kittens and on their worst days saying goodbye to their family member. I understand how important your pet(s) are to you. I understand that it's not easy to trust a stranger with your pet(s). I understood that every time I met a new client, asking questions about your pet(s) history, taking their vitals, and hoping in that short time frame I earned enough trust from you to take your pet to the back while we performed services and safely return them back to you. If your pet(s) have any medications to give, you are in luck, I have a lot of experience in doing so. I helped pet parents at the clinic and in their own homes when they couldn't make it to the clinic any longer. I currently have a senior dog (she's 16), so I know that our senior baby's need extra care. I know they start having accidents inside the house again and have strict medications so rest assured, I would take care of your senior pups like I would take care of mine. They deserve it and you deserve a peace of mind about that. I will be working here on Rover in concurrent with my other job. I work from home so I am able to proficiently create a schedule that will make sure your pet(s) get the proper care they need. Our Meet & Greet will be mandatory as I want to know all the details of your pet's care and make sure that your pet(s) and my safety are aligned. Based off my veterinary experience, I can read a dog pretty well if they will be aggressive or timid or scared with a stranger's presence. I also want to know about your pet's quirks as I know almost everyone's pets have some because pets are funny that way. And I want to meet you to make sure we are a good fit for one another and that you feel safe trusting your pet's care with me. This relationship will be a two way street especially if it grows to be something more than once. As far as trusting me with your home, know that I have been helping my mom clean houses for over half my life (15+ years). She has her own business and has asked me to help out a lot throughout the years. I have been in people's homes in Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Malibu, Lake Sherwood, Westlake Village, Santa Monica, Brentwood and more. Many family's have trusted me with taking care of their homes and leaving them more beautiful than I found them. I created great relationships with people's pets as well aka they knew when I arrived they would be getting lots of love and their welcome treat!

About: I’ve had cats for so much of my life I have to say they are my favorite. I wouldn’t say they’re low maintenance since some are very needy, but I LOVE being around them. They’re soft, (sometimes) gentle, but most important of all, they melt in your arms when you pick them up.

“My dog was so happy with Olga!! My dog is usually anxious in new environments but she settled in immediately upon arriving and was happier when we picked her up than I’ve ever seen her before at day care. Thank you, Olga!”

“Michelle has such a welcoming personality. Her family made me feel at ease with leaving YoYo. I didn’t have any concerns. She sent pictures & videos throughout the day. YoYo had a great time. Also, she was very accommodating with my late pick up time. I’ll definitely use her services again. Super thanks 😊”

About: I’m very detail oriented with animals. I handle them gently and kindly. I love what I do, I’ve always stepped up for animals and taken on every task you can think of. I’ve delivered puppies, given animals medicine, taken care of wounds and post surgery cases and given a million walks so far. I love them and think they deserve the best. My schedule is random. I work as a nanny, personal assistant and broadcast producer. I prefer to spend time with animals and help give back to animal parents because I know how much we care and want the best for our animals. I’m very careful with everything surrounding my dog and cat. I make sure they’re comfortable and always feeling safe and calm. I love cuddling, playing and talking to them.

Patience is key; I never force interaction and instead build trust through consistency, gentle care, and respecting their boundaries.

“Margarita was amazing!!! We went on vacation for a week and had her walk our dog twice a day. She kept us in the loop and provided us with picture, videos, on each walk which I loved. While we were away, our housesitter had to leave a couple of times, and Margarita was able to work with the information we gave her last minute and returned our dog safely inside the house. I would highly recommend Margarita!!!”

“Candy really took care of our boy Bentley while we were on vacation. This was his first time with a Rover sitter and we would definitely recommend and go back to Candy.”

“Sandi and her husband were great with Benji. Sandi sent us his picture everyday and was very quick to respond if we had any question! Knowing that Benji has sensitive stomach, Sandi followed all the instructions regarding his food and routine. Will definitely use her again in the future :).”

“Brenda gives daily updates and photos. She provided great communication and exercise for Kodi. Kodi got along great with her husky, Leeloo. I hated to separate him from his new friends. I will use her services again. I highly recommend Brenda.”

“Aimee went above and beyond to help me with my dog Kobe and made sure his stay was as comfortable as possible! She set up a meet and greet to ensure our dogs were a good match and gave me a tour of the space. She took great care of my dog even when he was scared by the 4th of July fireworks. On top of that she was willing to keep him for a bit extra when I ran into car troubles on my way back from my trip. I can’t put into words how thankful I am to Aimee and her husband for taking great care of my baby while I was away”

“Omg. Earl & Katherine are unbelievable. They took care of Rori as if she was their own. I had my reservations bc my dog hasn't been socialized. She only hangs out at the small dog park vs the big dog area bc she fights. Well, they ensured Rori and their Lexi were best of friends. They walked and ran Both dogs on a dual leash daily. They even bathed Rori for us. She even made their profile pics! My family was on a short vacation, but they sent updates, pics and videos daily. It helped to know that Rori was in caring hands. If only Earl & Katherine would babysit my 2 daughters...”

“Kelly took great care of our baby during his first boarding experience, and sent us regular updates & photos while we were away. We’re grateful we didn’t have to worry while we were out of town!”
