Genesis was amazing! She came to save the day on last minute plans. She’s incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful! I came home to a happy well taken care of fur baby and home. She’s very trusting and I would hire her again!
Genesis has watched and stayed with our dog multiple times now, and we never have to worry about him when we’re gone! She keeps us updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, and she’s managed to form a bond with our anxious dog and give us peace of mind when we’re away
She was the best sitterand so accommodating. My cat had a great time and was in the best of hands. Thank you so much!

I fired Genesis after the first day. She was not professional. I immediately contacted Rover about letting her go. The First day she came over at 1pm so that I can show her around for 45 minutes before I needed to leave for the airport. My dog Sassy is friendly but Genesis barely acknowledged her and patted her head for a few seconds. She said had to run and do something for work but would be back in a couple of hours. I have cameras in my house in my living room and kitchen that showed she returned to my house and 930pm. She fed Sassy didn’t talk or pet my dog. She fed her then went downstairs and Sassy followed. . Didn’t take my dog out or followed. She didn’t feed sassy until 10am the next morning when she apparently woke up. I called Rover and several texts and calls they weren’t helpful. I said I saw that she was gone for 9 hours fed sassy very late and the same the next morning and never spoke to Sassy or pet her. She said, did you want me to do that, because I wanted Sassy to tell me what she wanted. I fired her and told Rover. Rover has not refunded me any of the money I paid.! I’ve worked with Rover and another sitter in the past who was great. I luckily had a friend stay over the 9 days I was gone for my business trip.

Schedule
I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I have many breaks through out the day which is helpful when needing to take care of a pet. If I do take care of a pet at someone else’s home I would need to step out to work but I can always come back during breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
If the clients dog is small enough I can keep at my apartment. But prefer to stay at someone’s place so the pet isn’t as restricted and is comfortable with their environment. My lifestyle is active outside and relaxing at home so if I step out with your dog then it will most likely be a long walk or hike.
A typical day
I would love to take the dog(s) out to walks and hikes or the beach if close enough. If the dog is friendly and gets along with other dogs then I would love to take it to a dog park.
