“Jason was a wonderful caregiver to my 5yr 6mo old, english cream golden retriever, Jace! He prioritized him, making sure to follow his schedule, and keeping me updated over the entire length of his overnight, even going as far as to inform me of every visit and listing exactly what he was doing with Jace. He provided 2 pictures daily (per my original request), and was always happy to provide more! He treated Jace as if he were his own, keeping him company, providing him at least 2 daily walks, giving him his benadryl, even staying with him when Jace became anxious from the fireworks. I love that he didn't hesitate to ask me questions in the best interest of my dog. He kept my home neat and clean, and honestly I felt so comfortable leaving Jace with him that I woke up every morning feeling relieved to know my dog was taken care of while I was states away in a blizzard. I will absolutely be hiring him again. It put my mind at ease to know that someone with good judgment was watching my dog and my house during an emergency, and I trusted her judgement to make decisions on what would happen if they had to evacuate. As a bonus, I also came back to a clean house (which has not always been the case with prior dogsitters!). I will absolutely have Vanessa back again, she was excellent.”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, fostered and owned dogs for 5 years as a younger adults, and currently have owned cats for another 5 years. I always make sure to pick up poop on dog walks, and will do my best to play with your cat if they aren't scared of strangers. Ideally at some point in my life I'll own one of each! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can make most hours work. As long as I have enough time to care for my own cats, I can help out with yours as well. I'm extremely careful with doors at a client's home to make sure no pet gets out. I will also make sure to fully clean out litter boxes and clean up any messes before I leave (I know the smell of coming home to an accident). I also like to try to play with pets when their owners are gone, because I know they're just sitting around otherwise.

About: I've had cats my entire life growing up and now have one of my own in addition to a loving, fluffy, goofy, 100 pound dog that I raised and trained from a 9 weeks. I am kind, trustworthy, responsible, and truly love all animals (so much so, I have been vegetarian since 3 y.o.). I love to spend time with animals! Pet care taking is supplementing my career as a teacher. I love animals and my time with them brings me peace and joy. I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy this in my time outside of teaching. About: My dynamic approach to pet care keeps your dogs and cats and others as happy as can be. My experience in care ranges from raising weeks-old puppies to geriatric care for senior dogs, as well as leash/walk training, command training, and food/treat (habit) training. Through stimulating activities like treat hunting, long walks, and staying engaged with them in between, there is no shortage of activities for us. The goal is making sure your pet sleeps soundly at night from a long day of activity and is rested for the next. Does your pet speak Spanish? Me too! Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. I’m very flexible in making a detailed schedule with my clients to ensure the proper care is provided. My week is pretty open during the day, though, in the evenings I sometimes work for a few hours as a professional musician around LA. I live in a town home with no backyard, only a small patio, so not great for big dogs. My cat has single-cat syndrome (hates other cats). My house may be used in emergencies only, as it does not provide much for other pets.
