About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was a little girl. I pet sit for family & friends, and i’ve decided to start taking care of other peoples pets because it’s something that I love and enjoy! I am a kitten foster, I work with a rescue and have taken care of 7+ newborn kittens that were going to be euthanized. About: Enthusiast of animals and have worked alongside them for years in volunteering and fostering. I even have my own pets so I understand the importance of training puppies and kittens and understand how important our babies can be to us. I work alongside the schedule that you guys give me! About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! Alondra took a good care of my dog for 3 days that I was out of town. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family and she loved Alondra .
