I had to travel to my home country for a couple of weeks, and having Hector around made me feel comfortable. He was super responsive to the texts and always made sure he posted an update for me for every visit. He kept my place clean, brought in any packages that were outside of my apartment and took care of everything I asked him to do. “This was the first time we had used Rover and also the first time we had retained Desiree as a drop-in visit sitter for our cat, Mr. Darcy. Before the visits, Desiree came to our home for a 'meet and greet" and patiently reviewed with me our care needs. She also quickly responded affirmatively when I added a couple of additional items to our care list after the "meet and greet." During the two visits, Desiree ably completed the items on our care list and sent messages and photos to document her visits. (Mr. Darcy, as expected, was too shy to come out during the visits, so the photos necessarily focused on the tasks Desiree had performed. About: I've loved and taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, even a pet squirrel (lots of stories about Honey). About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! Experience: senior dogs, puppies, cats, birds, or other types of pets. I am open-minded! I was laid off from my job at the end of June, so I while I am applying to full time work, I have time to take care of pets in the meantime to fill my weekly schedule! While I cannot provide pet sitting services at my own home because my dog is not friendly with other dogs (sad face), I am skilled in meeting with my where my clients are at. I love to ask questions about the pet's history, current physical state, quirks, boundaries, etc. so I don't cause unnecessary stress or issues. Depending on the pet's attitudes and boundaries, I am open to playing, walking, or just simply checking in on them. I want to try to make their environment as healthy and safe as possible, so for instance, if its too hot in the house, I'd like to verify with the owner is opening a window or using the air conditioner is okay.
About: I foster animals for rescues, I also own 4 dogs myself, from puppies to seniors. I can also take care of medically fragile animals. I am open to anything. I’m currently working part time so I will be pretty wide open to care for you furry friend. When I’m not working I’m taking care of my step son and my 5 dogs rather it be hiking, long sniff walks or fun games with the dogs. I also work on basic obedience every day. If you need I can work on sit, stay, wait, loose Leash walking. I will follow all your rules to keep your pets safe. I’m really knowledgeable about keeping animals safe. You won’t have to worry when in my care.
“Bryanna has been great with our dog Buster and takes lots of pictures and even videos during her visits. She is good at communicating and responds to messages quickly. She's dependable and shows up when she says she will and we are really happy to have found her. She brings her dog to play with Buster and it's been a great arrangement for Buster to have a friend and more socialization. She was willing to just come herself to take Buster on his walk if they didn't get along. We hope Bryanna continues to be available to visit Buster.”

I love to get up in the morning to run and take walks in the LA sun, perfect for your pet :) I am extensively active and have done extensive research on pet enrichment, figuring out what they need to be stimulated and happy is my number one priority.
About: I’ve helped take care of dogs for most of my childhood. Whether it was my family’s, family friend’s, or my own pets, I’ve made sure that they were treated with love and care. l am currently working at an escape room, with my hours not really consistent. Though I will make sure to find the most convenient times that work best for both parties. As of now, my place might not be the best place for pets to come back to since I live in an apartment complex, which is the reason why I don’t offer the service to bring pets back to my place.

Also, his backyard is the perfect oasis for the dogs to hang out in and Scarlet clearly loved it there. Scarlet also has special needs with not being able to walk well and they were so attentive and made sure she could get around safely and enjoy her time there.
