When my boyfriend and I started looking into an in-house sitter we were a little worried that our dog Shady might be a little to aloof and difficult for someone new. Shady is a large rottweiler mix who can be high energy on walks and mopey when we aren't around. The second we met Josh we knew that he could handle it, and despite our dog usually being more of a "ladies man" he took to Josh immediately! The entire weekend we were gone we got plenty of pictures and text updates so we never had to worry about how anything was going! When we returned Shady was happy & healthy, and when Josh came by to drop off our spare key Shady was still as excited to see him as ever! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, and we will DEFINITELY be using him again!”

I’m new to the rover app but have been pet sitting for friends and family back home for years now since I was in middle school. I have a very calm senior mini dachshund mix and he required a lot of attention especially durning allergy season as his itching can get pretty bad. I have a mini pinscher puppy about 8 months old who has an insane amount of energy and had the time to practice a bit of training with him, through I wouldn’t say I’m a professional. Lastly I have a very cuddly tuxedo cat who can be a bit of a diva at times but she loves snuggles and most of all naps. I love going on walks/runs daily currently I’m a nursing student and only have class once a week while my other class is online I’m in the process of looking for a job as I’m new to LA! So if you need anything last minute for your furry friends count on me! I can easily crate your dog if needed and work with specific hours of your choosing to feed walk I can also bathe your pet if your preference! And most importantly give them as much attention they need to feel comfortable and secure while away from their favorite person(you)!

I don’t like to go for walks so late for me and my client’s safety. I have a nice fenced backyard; we mostly play there and hangout i don’t let them out unsupervised. Daniela is truly as good as it gets. The amount of communication was incredible and for the first time ever, we came home to no accidents (or on purposes). She was beyond professional loving and caring. Never had anyone on Rover come close to this kind of care.
Sanaz took wonderful care of our two dogs and two cats while our family was away on vacation. Her communication was always prompt whenever we had a question or wanted to check in. I could not have asked for a better care giver for our fur baby while we were out of town than Emily. My kitten does not do well alone and she stayed at our home with him and he took to her right away. She provided me with regular updates, was incredibly kind and responsive, respectful, and responsible. She was in ongoing communication with me and followed every ask I had. Gabriella was absolutely amazing at taking care of my Amstaff. I was away for the holidays for a couple of weeks, and very anxious, but Gabriella helped to ease that worry. Farrah was really great! She stayed at our house for a week with our dog and did an amazing job. She sent lots of updates and was always very reachable whenever we checked in, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was also kind enough to come by a few days before we left to do a walk-through of the house and meet our dog, which we really appreciated. We came home to a happy dog and a house left in great condition. We truly appreciated having someone so trustworthy and reliable caring for both our home and our dog. Erika is excellent and detail-oriented. She took notes on each of our cats, not just on their needs, but also on their personalities and habits. Erika sent us daily updates and pictures of our darling fur babies. Next time we go on vacation, we are booking Erika. You should too!
Joycelyn is awesome! She took wonderful care of our pup Shiloh. She’s exceptionally warm, accommodating and kind, and that made all the difference with our baby. We have a lot of unique instructions to take care of our dog because he does have some behavior issues and she handled it perfectly. 10 out of 10, 100% recommend and we will absolutely be hiring her again!
Adilene was absolutely amazing - tons of pics, very communicative, and able to give my senior pup her medicine. When I had travel issues with cancelled flights, she was so kind and helpful in extending to continue care for another day while I sorted out getting home.
