“I know dogs can’t speak, but Brooke is so kind and loving with her. She spent the last 10 minutes of her time with Dottie on the floor loving her, when she so didn’t need to. Absolutely love Brooke.”

“I just moved to LA this past month. I am beyond happy I met Zoey! She has been a total hero to me during this stressful time. A weight has been lifted knowing that my two pups are in such trustful hands! My dogs are VERY high energy and Zoey knows how to handle them. She really goes the extra mile (pun intended). Forever grateful to her! I cannot recommend her enough :)”

About: With over eight years of hands-on pet care experience, I don’t just “watch” animals — I build real bonds with them. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel safe, seen, and genuinely loved. Every animal in my care is treated as if they were my own, with patience, protection, and affection at the center of everything I do. Their happiness, trust, and tail wags are truly the greatest reward. I am a freelance professional makeup artist working part time, so I have plenty of free time to care for your furry friends and felines! When I care for your pets in your home, I treat the entire space with the same respect and attention I give your animals. I follow their routines closely, provide loving companionship, and make sure they feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their familiar environment. While I am there taking care of your pets, I am also taking care of your home — keeping a clean, safe, and mess-free space for your animal to relax in. You can return to a happy pet and a well-maintained home.
“Lucia was excellent! She was responsive, friendly, and punctual. I hired her to take my 5 month old GSP for a walk with specific needs for timing and location, and she could not have been a better walker to ask. She was easy to communicate with and very prepared. Thank you Lucia!”

About: I don't have official Rover experience yet, but I'm a full time dog mom to my doodle, Jaxie, and before him, our beloved Roscoe, a pitbull we lost last year. I've also taken care of their cousins, Boomer (Australian Shepherd) and Jazzie (Husky/German mix), a handful of times. Different breeds, different energy levels, so I'm used to adjusting to each dog's personality and needs. I treat every pup like my own, lots of attention, patience, and love! I'm available for drop-ins and walks Monday through Sunday! Weekdays are a bit tighter since I work full time until 4pm and I'm home by 5:30, but I'm ready to play with your pups right after that. Weekends are when I have the MOST availability, pretty much all day, so those tend to be the easiest to book! I only offer walking and drop-ins for now. Safety means secure leashes, checking doors and gates, and staying alert on every visit so your pup is safe!
“Jeni walked my dog, Potter, while I was sick with COVID. She did an amazing job giving my pup exercise while I was sick. She was always on time and would send wonderful photos of their trip! Potter loved Jeni and enjoyed his walks. Thanks Jeni!!”

“Tiffany took great care of our girl, which was no easy feat considering she weighs 70 pounds. We are so grateful to her. Our girl loves her. She always arrived timely and took the best pics of our girl on their walks together.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and adopted my own dog at 10 years old. I’ve cared for puppies and seniors and love all of them. **I am a full-time college student so I have limited availability on weekdays and must be able to leave during the day if I am sitting. On weekends I typically have open availability to care for your pet :) There are two dogs in my home who enjoy roaming the backyard and are always going in and out of the doggy door. While my dogs do not go in crates, I can put your dog in their crate if you wish.
About: My first pet was a pigeon that I basically raised since they was a little featherless peep. I also thought them to fly! I was 12 years old. Since then, I have worked as a professional pet sitter in Long Beach, CA with a small company (shout out Happy Tails to You) and for Wag! (another app). I have experience working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I try to adjust to each pet's personalities. I also adjust to each pet parent's preference and do not mind reading and following your step-by-step instruction for taking care of your pet. I actually prefer a manual as there no one who knows your pet more than you! When I am not dog sitting, I am working with adults and kids with developmental disabilities as a behavior consultant. AND when I am not working, I am hanging out my two cats and dog! I am available early mornings (before 9am), afternoons (after 2pm), evenings, and weekends. I work a part-time job that is flexible with my schedule (I work on-site and remotely). When I am in your home, whatever instructions you provide, I will follow. The more details the better, as no one knows your pets more than you. I also try to work with your pet's personality and needs. I don't mind looking after pets with special needs or need extra care.
About: Always had dogs and cats since I was a little kid. From a cockapoo to a sheltie to 3 dobermans (not at the same time) and cats, birds too, parakeets, cockatiels, doves (still have those) and a 25-year-old skink (reptile). I tend my daughter's dog, cats & chickens when she's away. I've been retired for a year and am interested in keeping busy. I love cats, dogs, birds, and have always gotten along with animals. I am available almost anytime and able to handle last-minute assignments. I am extremely careful with doors and fences remaining closed so animals can't get loose, aware that loud noises and strange situations sometimes stress dogs and especially cats. I approach new animals slowly and carefully to establish a rapport.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets for years. I have six years of formal pet-sitting experience and hands-on knowledge with dogs and cats of all ages. My 4 year old medium sized Goldendoodle loves to make new friends, so your dog or cat will have great company during their stay! I work full-time from home, which means I’m here to give your pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job is flexible, so I can easily adjust my schedule for walks, playtime, and feeding routines. I’m available for all services Monday through Sunday and love keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable while you’re away. I have a fenced yard and a friendly 4-year-old medium-sized Goldendoodle who loves playing with other dogs and gets along great with cats. My home is pet-safe and welcoming. I can easily crate your dog if needed, follow feeding routines, and provide plenty of supervised playtime and snuggles. Every pet I watch is treated like family!

About: I have always had a good experience with meeting dogs for the first time and do not get easily intimidated by their size. The more the dog, the more there is to love! I have had a pet my whole life and so I have learned what they love most and what they dislike. Northridge/Valley Monday-Thursday in the afternoons and evening. Friday-Sunday Ventura county, times vary I would never force a dog into my schedule for the sake of making money. It is only when I know I can be fully present and treat them the best to my abilities is when I accept an offer. I have a large fenced backyard for my Siberian Husky, many of his siblings live nearby and I will occasionally walk him with them and let them play with one another. I love to run and hike with my dog but never push him past his limits. I typically run with my dog in the early morning or evening to prevent overheating. I will NEVER run with your dog if it is outside of your wishes. If it is something you would like me to do then I would be more than happy to :)
“Mario was fantastic with Luna! He’s very communicative, responsible, takes tons of photos and give updates frequently. I needed someone to help me with walking Luna while I was at work and despite her being a handful, he was incredibly kind, patient, and undaunted by the task. I highly recommend him if you ever need someone to care for your fur babies.”

They are all welcome for hugs and most importantly LOVE! For summer period i am free every day and i can start working really early if my client needs. “I recently started a new job that requires long hours. I was nervous thinking about my almost 2 yr old fur baby being alone for so long. After searching numerous sitters, I found Mry and she had countless positive reviews. I decided to reach out and I am so glad I did. Mry comes to my home twice per week to walk my dog. She is so attentive and caring to our fur baby. She is also very accommodating and flexible so if I need to add another day last minute, there has been no issue. She is also very reliable when it comes to not only the safety of my dog but also our home. By chance, my father arrived at our house to visit earlier than expected and it was at the time Mry was walking our dog. She politely informed him that she could not let him in as this was not her home but he was more than welcome to use the provided lock box to prove he was not a stranger! She has been in constant communication with us and sends us immediate feedback after the walk with pictures. She also works on training with our dog and reinforcing certain commands. I can 1000000% recommend Mry to ANYONE who needs their fur baby looked after. She is truly amazing and I have had nothing but great experiences with her.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for almost 3 years and I love to be around pets specially dogs. that makes me so much happy! They’re very lovely and genuine. I have full time and part time availability. I would like to offer to parents the best job they can received in a rover app. I have dogs who live with my parents in Brazil and are lovingly cared for! On the exchange program I took part in, my family had 3 dogs at home and my duty was to take care of them as well as the children, so I gained more experience. Soon after, I moved in with a friend who has two beautiful puppies that are the most loving things in the world and from then on I took care of my friends' dogs! Playing, walking, giving the best attention, feeding and cleaning.
“I worked with Cody as a dog walker. He handled my very large dog, who can be a bit reactive, with patience, confidence, and real skill. It’s clear he understands dogs and takes safety seriously. I feel much more at ease knowing my dog is in such capable hands. Highly recommend and will continue to use Cody in the future!”

Geena is super sweet and takes a tremendous amount of care with our fur babies. Her communication is great and we feel confident and comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. I also love that she’s so good with special needs dogs, as our big boy has mobility issues.

Francisco was great! He is reliable and he is great with dogs! He communicates well and sends pictures of our dogs who always look happy and exercised from their walks. We would definitely reach out to him again! I highly recommend Francisco for your pet caring and dog walking needs.

Annabella was amazing! This was my first time using rover and I was nervous about it but she made me feel at ease. She answered any question or concern I had. Was quick at responding, she’s so easy to work with. It takes a while for my dog to warm up to people but she was so patient and kind. I could not recommend her enough. Thank you Annabella, you’re the best!

I couldn’t be happier with Sanaz’s service. She was very communicative and left detailed reports with lots of videos and photos of the pups. She was able to help out with a short turnaround, and was proactive to schedule a meet & greet beforehand too. Sanaz was calm and confident working with my reactive pups, and understood how to make them feel more comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure the pups were happy and comfy. Thank you, Sanaz!

Marissa was great with Pooh Bear this morning! She showed up on time, made Pooh Bear feel at ease right away, and the two of them headed out without hesitation. When PB came back, she was all smiles, full of pep, and clearly had a really fun walk. It was obvious Marissa took great care of her, and the whole experience felt smooth and reassuring. Highly recommend.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
