Your Pet’s New Best Friend!
Thanks for taking the time to review my profile! I’ve had either dogs or cats as pets my entire life and have house/pet sat for many friends and family over the years, in addition to clients on various pet sitting platforms. Yes, I am that type of person who will stop whatever I’m doing (whether it’s simply walking down the street or eating at a café) to greet and pet adorable fur babies. Animals always lift my spirits and I love spending time with them! I'm a former HR manager who left a stressful corporate job in late 2022 and have always said that I would prefer to work with animals instead of people! My references will describe me as exceedingly conscientious, responsible and caring, My schedule is flexible and I am also available to assist on weekends. **PLEASE NOTE RE: HOUSE SITS**: I also work in Voice Over, so if I'm house sitting for you, I would need to be able to leave for up to 4 hours to record in my home studio. (This could be up to two 4 hour segments per day) I also have other Rover clients (dog walks/drop ins) so I'm ultimately not available for "constant care" pet sits. Generally with housesits, I can commit to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. with one mid-day visit if needed. (These times are not "written in stone", so slight adjustments can be made on a case by case basis.). It will be very important for me to know if your pet has any health issues, and how they are around people, other animals and children. When it comes to housesitting, you can rest assured that I am I incredibly respectful and will treat your home with care. If you select me to housesit, I will leave your home cleaner than when I arrived!

I will want as much detail as possible from you about your pet's needs, schedule, and quirks! I will not commit to any pet care without an in person (complimentary) meet & greet, to ensure everyone is comfortable; as a result, I generally cannot accept last minute requests. Please also let me know what I need in order to function in your home (Alarm system, A/C, etc...) Anyone I have ever pet sat for, as well as multiple Airbnb hosts, will confirm that I am a quiet, respectful guest and your home will be left nice and tidy! I will usually be sitting alone, but occasionally my husband Phil might join me.

Erika was wonderful! My dog is older and is not always keen to walk in the heat, so Erika took her to a shady park so my dog could roll around in the grass and in the shade and have lots of fun! My dog was happy and healthy when I returned! Thank you, Erika for a great job!!!

Erika is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She is so patient and has a very calming presence. My cat usually ignores strangers and refuses to play with them, but took to her right away and loved playing with her! She is deeply caring and I felt so comfortable leaving my cat in her hands. Highly recommend!

Erika is excellent and detail-oriented. She took notes on each of our cats, not just on their needs, but also on their personalities and habits. Erika sent us daily updates and pictures of our darling fur babies. Next time we go on vacation, we are booking Erika. You should too!

Schedule
