About: Hey, I’m Anthony! I’ve been around animals since I was born. Grew up on a mini farm and took care of countless of dogs, as well as cats. I actually have a Siamese cat! I’ve always felt so connected with animals my entire life and most (if not all) pets of friends/family love me :) I’ve also watched a lot of pets in my life from time to time, whether it’s for a friend, neighbor, or family member. I work part-time at the moment and I have a lot of time on my hands, aside from work and occasional hobbies. My work schedule is given out a month in advance, so I always know when I’m available in the future and when I’m not. I’m very good with respecting the boundaries of animals and providing the care that they need. Your animal needs a lot of playtime? I got that covered. Your animal needs company but is more on the shy side? Got it, we can just hang out! Let me know what is needed for your pet, how their usual day looks, and I’ll be more than happy to put my all into caring for them

About: I'm a stay-at-home mom with years of hands on experience caring for animals especially dogs and cats with unique needs. 🐶 I offer solo dog walks for pups who need calm, one on one attention, perfect for reactive, anxious, or senior dogs who don’t do well in group settings. 🐱 I also provide drop in cat care, including feeding, litter cleaning, medication (if needed), and gentle companionship while you're away. I’m reliable, patient, and always focus on your pet’s comfort and safety. While I’m not a certified trainer or vet, I bring real world experience and lots of love to every visit. Message me to chat about your pet’s needs or check availability! 💛 Summer Walks for Your Pup: To keep your dog safe and comfortable during warmer weather (80°F and above), I always walk them on grass or in shaded areas. For dogs with sensitive skin, I’m happy to apply pet-safe sunscreen. On very hot days or during heat waves, I’ll take your pup for a shorter walk and then spend the rest of the time relaxing safely at your home and in your yard (if you have one). I do require a meet-and-greet before booking, so please avoid last-minute requests unless we’ve already met. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! I aim to provide flexible, reliable pet care that fits both your needs and my availability. Weekdays: Available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting primarily during mid-morning to early afternoon (roughly 9 AM to 3 PM), perfect for pets who need care while you’re at work or running errands. Weekends: Limited availability; please book in advance as these spots fill quickly. Meet & Greets:By appointment only, usually scheduled during weekday mornings or early afternoons. These are required before any bookings to ensure a comfortable fit for your pet and me. If you have special scheduling needs, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to accommodate! I recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred times. Caring for your beloved pets in the comfort of their own home is a responsibility I take very seriously. My top priorities are safety, trust, and creating a calm environment where your pet feels secure and loved. Safety First: I carefully follow your instructions and any special care routines you provide. Whether it’s administering medication, maintaining feeding schedules, or respecting exercise limitations, your pet’s health and well-being are my highest priority. I keep doors and gates secure and supervise pets closely to prevent any accidents or escapes. Building Trust: I understand that letting someone into your home and care for your furry family member requires trust. I strive to earn that by being reliable, punctual, and respectful of your home and privacy. I believe in clear communication and will keep you updated so you always know how your pet is doing. Comfortable Environment: Pets thrive best in familiar surroundings, so I make sure to maintain their usual routines and provide plenty of love, attention, and stimulation. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I tailor each visit to meet your pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m honored to be entrusted with your pet’s care and work hard to make each visit a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your furry friend.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years through nannying, with the last 3 years being full-time pet sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—big or small, young or old. I also have experience with senior and disabled dogs and understand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and consistent with their routines. I always follow care instructions closely and make safety a top priority. I genuinely love being around animals and make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, just like they would at home. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine since I have an open and flexible schedule. I’m available during the day, evenings, and overnight, and I’m able to plan my day around a pet’s needs rather than squeezing them in. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, meds, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get the time and attention they deserve. I also have a reliable car, so getting to and from visits is not a problem. I care for pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a space they know. I’m very respectful of both the pet and the home and always follow care instructions exactly as they’re given. I pay close attention to routines, safety, and any special needs, especially with senior or disabled dogs. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and never stressed, and I always aim to keep things calm, clean, and familiar. I treat every pet like my own and want pet parents to feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

Absolutely amazing! Darby is so nice and pleasant to talk to. And she treats my two doggos even better than I imagined. I love the amount of communication about how the walks went and how the dogs are behaving while I'm out and about. My two rascals absolutely love her. As a first time user of the app I was concerned about trying this out but I have no regrets and I recommend it to others now. I can relax knowing that Darby is taking care of the kiddos.

About: I’m a dedicated pet owner with experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities. I currently have a 13-year-old American Bulldog, a young French Bulldog puppy, a 6-year-old cat, and caged pets. Caring for both a senior dog and a puppy has given me experience with different energy levels, routines, training needs, and age-related care. I believe every pet is unique and deserves individualized attention. Whether your pet needs extra patience, a structured routine, medication reminders, playtime, or simply lots of affection, I take the time to learn their personality and provide care tailored to their specific needs. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As an education professional, I’m off during the summer months and have a flexible schedule. My puppy follows a strict daily routine, so I’m already accustomed to planning my day around an animal’s needs. This makes it easy for me to provide dependable, attentive care and maintain your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining the routine they’re familiar with. I understand that every pet has different needs based on their age, personality, energy level, and health, and I take the time to learn what works best for each individual animal. As a pet owner caring for both a senior dog and a young puppy, I have experience with the patience, consistency, and attention required at different life stages. I understand the importance of scheduled feedings, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training reinforcement, medication administration, and adequate rest. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions and providing regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to treat your pets with the same level of care, respect, and attention that I give my own.

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I’ve been caring for pets for years, building a network of happy clients through neighbors, family friends, and word of mouth. Dogs, cats, puppies, seniors — I’ve done it all, from quick drop-ins to six-month house sits. Whatever your pet needs, I show up with a full heart, active energy and a real routine that keeps them happy and at ease. I pride myself on being someone pet owners can truly trust. During the LA wildfires, I was house sitting near the evacuation zones when I made the call to safely pack up my client’s pets and their most precious belongings and get out, keeping everyone and everything safe until they could come home. That’s the kind of sitter I am: calm, present, and completely committed. I genuinely love this work. Waking up with a dog to walk, taking them out on hikes through the hills, spending the day giving them cuddles and all the attention they deserve, it truly fills my cup. Your pets won’t just be cared for, they’ll be showered with joy and mirth! Based in the Woodland Hills and Topanga area, available for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, and daycare. Pet care is woven into my daily life naturally and genuinely. I keep an open, flexible schedule which means I’m truly present with the animals in my care — mornings start with walks and feeding routines, days are filled with playtime, cuddles and attention, and evenings wind down with the kind of calm, settled care that helps pets feel secure. I don’t rush off to a nine to five. I’m here, and your pet feels that. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety and comfort are everything to me. In my own space, I live with my cat Milo and keep a calm, cozy, pet friendly environment with plenty of room to relax and explore. A partner is often home as well, so your pet always has loving company and is never left alone for long. The Topanga and Woodland Hills area means we’re surrounded by nature with beautiful trails and open space right at our doorstep for walks, hikes and outdoor adventures. In your home I adapt completely to your pet’s existing routine, environment and needs. I learn their habits, respect their space and follow your instructions carefully. I treat every home I work in as if it were my own - with attentiveness, care and a deep sense of responsibility. Your pet, your home and everything you love will be looked after with the same devotion I bring to my own.

About: Taking care of any type of dog is something that I always look forward to doing, and I have been doing it for friends, family, and more for most of my life. I am mostly focusing on school, but when I am free, spending time with dogs is something that I have always been interested in. I want to do something that I enjoy instead of a boring, behind the counter job. At my house, my whole front yard is gated, and has a grass area that is perfect for any type of dog, no matter the size. I am perfectly fine at following instructions given by the owner that will best benefit the dog while he/she is my responsibility.

About: Dogs have been my life since I was 7 years old — that’s over 35 years of loving, caring for, and understanding what makes every dog tick. I own three incredible pups myself: two Pitties and a Doberman mix, so I know firsthand what big, energetic, loving dogs need to thrive. What truly sets me apart is that I volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I work hands-on with all breeds — from tiny dogs to large and powerful ones. I’m comfortable and confident with every size, temperament, and energy level because I’ve seen it all. Walking dogs isn’t just a service for me — it’s something I genuinely love. Your pup will get attentive, caring walks from someone who treats every dog like their own. I’m bonded, insured, and committed to giving your furry family member the best experience possible. Dog walking and pet care fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m available seven days a week with flexible morning, midday, and afternoon time slots. Whether you need a regular weekly walker or a one-time walk, I can work around your schedule and make it happen. Your dog’s safety is my absolute top priority on every single walk. I’m bonded and insured, so you have full peace of mind from the moment I pick up the leash. I walk in safe, familiar neighborhoods and keep dogs secure and controlled at all times — I handle big, powerful breeds every week at the shelter so no dog is too much for me. I send updates, photos, and check-ins during every walk so you always know your pup is happy and safe. Your dog will be treated exactly like one of my own three.

Katharine is truly the best dog walker and pet sitter we could ask for! She’s incredibly reliable, flexible, and trustworthy, and it’s clear she has a genuine love and compassion for animals. We always feel completely at ease knowing our pets are in her care. She’s been our regular walker for our senior dog, Lacey, and Katharine is always patient, sweet, and attentive with Lacey’s needs. It means so much to know Lacey is being cared for by someone who understands her pace and personality. Katharine also makes sure our cat gets plenty of love whenever she stops by! We even rely on her to give our cat an oral medication when we’re out of town. She consistently goes above and beyond for us and our pets, whether it’s adjusting her schedule, checking in with thoughtful updates, or giving a little extra care when needed. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Woodland Hills. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Woodland Hills.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
