About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. Either way, we'll have a good time and you'll get photos afterward so you can see their adventure. At the end of the day, I know that pets aren't "just pets." They're family. I also know how much trust it takes to hand over your keys and leave someone in charge of a furry family member you love. My goal is to make that decision feel easy by giving your companion lots of care, attention, and affection while keeping you updated every step of the way. I'd love to meet you and your furry companion! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. In my professional life, I've worked as an engineer, but right now I'm taking time off and intentionally spending more time focusing on the people, experiences, and things that bring me joy! Including caring for animals! Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I genuinely enjoy making pets a part of my day. I'm also a big believer in keeping owners updated, so sending photos and little updates throughout the day is something I genuinely enjoy, not something I do out of obligation. At this time, I only provide care in my clients' homes. I find that pets are often happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment where they can stick to their normal routines. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, habits, schedule, favorite activities, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Every pet is different, and I try to tailor my care to their individual needs. For house sitting, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible while you're away. I'll follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, give plenty of attention and companionship, administer medications if needed, and keep your home tidy and secure. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: As a mom who knows exactly what it takes to keep a household running and everyone cared for, I bring that same nurturing, attentive energy to your pets. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk or some extra patient TLC, I’ll treat them like a member of my own family. Safe, dependable, and always ready with extra belly rubs!​ I'm currently available after 6pm Monday thru Friday and anytime on Saturday or Sunday. Cats are fed separately in the kitchen, with their food placed on furniture to keep is safe from curious dogs. For hydration, I have a water fountain for the cats and a water dispenser for the dogs, both inside and outside for the dogs. When needed, I can easily crate your dog at night; my boxer is crate trained but prefers to sleep freely now. I require that you bring your dog and cat with their own bed, food, and treats, ensuring they feel comfortable. Additionally, It's essential that all pets have a collar with a tag and a leash for safety. This structured approach helps create a harmonious atmosphere for all furry friends in my care.

About: Hey, I’m Anthony! I’ve been around animals since I was born. Grew up on a mini farm and took care of countless of dogs, as well as cats. I actually have a Siamese cat! I’ve always felt so connected with animals my entire life and most (if not all) pets of friends/family love me :) I’ve also watched a lot of pets in my life from time to time, whether it’s for a friend, neighbor, or family member. I work part-time at the moment and I have a lot of time on my hands, aside from work and occasional hobbies. My work schedule is given out a month in advance, so I always know when I’m available in the future and when I’m not. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. My first puppy was a Yorkie named Lola, who I got when I was 5 — she was my first love! Animals have always been one of the most meaningful parts of my life, and that hasn’t changed. I currently live with two cats and a dog, including my cat Kai, who is truly my pride and joy and the light of my life. I’d do absolutely anything for him, so I know firsthand what it’s like to love and care for your pet like they’re your child. Growing up, a lot of my volunteer work centered around animals, from helping at shelters to walking dogs in my neighborhood. About: I have had rescue dogs my whole life, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have special needs. I also worked in a pet supply store for 2 years, so I have interacted with a wide variety of behaviors and care requirements. I volunteered over 40 hours with the Chesterfield Humane Society (Virginia) as well with kennel cleaning, walking and play, administering medicine, etc. I acquired skills such as grooming, daily care to include feeding and walking, neonatal care, noticing problems and signs of distress, medicinal administration techniques, and I even have a yorkipoo and shihpoo of my own.
