Safety, trust & environment

I like to spend as much outside time as possible with the dogs (weather permitting) and do mentally stimulating activities (especially with my senior babies). Activities like "where's the toy", "which hand is the treat in", etc. Little things to keep them mentally engaged. I love being outside, and I love long walks, so me and the doggies tend to make a good team.

Information Tatyana B. would like to know about your pet

I'd love to know your dogs favorite things to do, habits, triggers, and favorite treats. It is also nice to know some of their commands/hand signals and if they're reactive/dog friendly.

A typical day

For the energetic babies, we'll likely play their preferred game of fetch or "chase me with the toy". They also tend to be fond of tug-of-war style play. For all dogs, but especially older ones, I like to include mentally stimulating activities like rolling a treat in a towel or doggy hide-and-seek. It just depends on the dog's personality. For dogs with special needs like blindness or hearing loss, we get creative with our play, focusing on the senses they use the most. Typically scent and search-related play.

Pet care experience

Senior dogs and dogs with special needs have a special place in my heart. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine and quirks, moving at their pace and learning what makes them feel safe and comfortable. 〰️ I’ve shared my life with dogs since I was little, growing up with German Shepherds and learning early that every dog has their own personality, preferences, and way of experiencing the world. Every dog has their own way of communicating, and I love taking the time to learn their language; they are conscious, beautiful souls. I also have bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology, where I was able to study animal behavior and communication. 〰️ I’m based in the San Fernando Valley, and my flexible schedule allows me to serve families throughout the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley. My Rover profile may be new, but my experience with dogs isn't; I'd be grateful for the opportunity to meet your best friend. My goal is to learn what makes your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved, so you can leave knowing they’re with someone who truly enjoys caring for them.

Great experience! My senior dog was happy, communication was excellent, and I received ongoing updates with photos. I would definitely book again.
