About: I have lived with animals for my entire life, and I worked at PetSmart taking care of dogs (both in groups and individually) and cats. I am a current student at Cal State Northridge and I am always looking to make some more pet friends! I have lots of downtime this summer, and am free all day on most weekends. About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. Either way, we'll have a good time and you'll get photos afterward so you can see their adventure. At the end of the day, I know that pets aren't "just pets." They're family. I also know how much trust it takes to hand over your keys and leave someone in charge of a furry family member you love. I'll follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, give plenty of attention and companionship, administer medications if needed, and keep your home tidy and secure. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: I have experience in the veterinary field through a veterinary science program that prepared me for pre-veterinary studies. I volunteered over 40 hours with the Chesterfield Humane Society (Virginia) as well with kennel cleaning, walking and play, administering medicine, etc. I acquired skills such as grooming, daily care to include feeding and walking, neonatal care, noticing problems and signs of distress, medicinal administration techniques, and I even have a yorkipoo and shihpoo of my own. My yorkipoo is 16 years old. I’m very comfortable with dogs and I consider mine my furry, fluffy babies. I know how important your pets are, so I treat them how I would want mine to be treated when I need pet care. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to spend a significant amount of time with pets throughout the day. I can provide daycare, walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I have a senior 17-year-old Yorkipoo, so my apartment is already safety-proofed and designed with pets in mind. My home has hardwood floors so messes are easy to solve, and I prioritize a calm, clean, secure environment.

About: Ive taken care of many animals for about 8 years now, and I specialize in dog and cat care. One of my previous became very ill due to genetic issues, and I now have experiencing caring for sick and elderly cats, as well as kittens as young as 3 weeks old. I worked at Seal Beach Animal Care center for a few years now as well providing daily care for shelter animals, including feeding, administering medications, and delivering enrichment activities.
